About: Hi! I took a break from pet sitting but I am so excited to be back! I love all kinds of animals! I have patience for those animals that may be timid or nervous. I can work with training or to just give an opportunity for exercise. I am up for anything! Dogs have become a passion of mine, and I am here to help you take care of your furry friend. They are precious companions and deserve a life where they are loved and paid attention to. That's what I am here for! I can help both your furry friend and help you by providing services and to love on your pet. It can be worry-some to hand your companion over to another so I am here to alleviate that stress. I am between jobs so I have lot of time for walks, play, stimulation etc. Your pet's health and well-being is my priority. I am happy to take your pet on any walks. There are plenty of trails around the Arlington area that are pet friendly. I am happy to play with your pet and give them lots of love!

About: I have been pet sitting and walking for 11 years. My neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for, walk, and feed their pets! I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech's Arlington campus. This summer I will be working remotely with plenty of time to care for your pet! Unfortunately I cannot care for your pets in my own home because our landlord does not allow pets however I am happy to care for them in your home!

About: I’ve jumped at every opportunity to take care of friend’s and family members’ dogs since I was in elementary school! I’ve taken care of dogs with varying medical needs and across a range of breeds. I truly find any time spent with animals a gift, and I’m excited to begin my journey on Rover and help take care of yours. I am a teacher on summer break, so my availability is more than usual! I can walk dogs or drop in between 9:30 am and 12 pm or between 2:30 pm and 7 pm. However, beginning the last week of August, I will only be available after 4 pm due to my full-time job. I aim to begin fostering animals soon, but my residence is currently pet free, so I’ll have time to focus on your fur babies! I have experience with dogs across a spectrum of needs and have experience orally providing medication. As a teacher and dog-lover, I am patient and will work to create a safe environment that is attuned to the needs of your pet(s).

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, and each experience has taught me how to be patient, loving, and responsible. I looked after my sweet poodle for 17 years, especially when she grew older and developed Alzheimer’s. It was a challenging time, but I cared for her with all my heart. I also helped care for dogs adopted by my family. My elderly aunt adopted a street dog named Fred, and since she couldn’t manage walks and vet visits on her own, I was the one who took care of him. Later, my grandmother adopted another rescue named Bruce, and I became his main walking companion because of her limited mobility. Currently, I live with my host family, and they have a wonderful rescue dog named Rosie. Whenever they travel, I’m fully responsible for her care — from walks to cuddles — and she has truly become my best friend. These experiences taught me how to adapt to the unique needs of each dog, whether they’re seniors, rescues, or playful companions. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently have a very flexible routine, which allows me to adapt easily to your pet’s needs. I can adjust my schedule to make sure they’re cared for and happy. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and I’m always careful with doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks. She went above and beyond by making sure he always had food, water, and treats after his walks, and she sent tons of updates, photos, and videos that gave me so much peace of mind throughout the day. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, I’ve owned a fish, 7+ rabbits, 2 hamsters, a turtle, a chick, and currently own 2 dogs. I’ve petsit for mainly friends, I’ve housed a dog until we could find him a home. I also have experience with Guinea pigs and cats. My current schedule is very open and I have lots of availability! I am available almost daily now and will have lots of time for your fur babies. When I walk dogs I love to play with them and pet them before doing anything else so that they feel more comfortable with me being in their home. Then I clean their diapers and wash/replace their food bowls. Then I will take them for a 30min-1 hour walk and when we return back home I like to give them play time if time allows.

About: I grew up always taking care of my Labrador Retrievers! I’d be the primary care taker since I was home before my parents, so I’d be responsible for feeding and taking them outside. I’m currently in school full time at GWU, but I only have classes 3 days/ week, so I’m looking for something to fill my time. I am home almost all afternoons, evenings and weekends. I live in an apartment building on an end unit which is surrounded by a quiet, very friendly and walkable neighborhood. Depending on the service, I’d be able to and happy to bring dogs on long walks around our neighborhood.

About: Growing up I always owned animals as I love all kinds of animals from big to small. It was always my dream to own a dog or a cat and ever since getting my very first dog in middle school, I learned a lot about what it takes to give love and handle an animal with care and attention. I would love to take care of your animal just as if it were my own as I own a cat myself and am fostering cats when I can. I am also an active volunteer for the rescue organization here in nova called 4paws. I believe that all animals deserve the best. I have several years of experience taking care of animals/pets and will follow any specific needs that your pet requires. I will promise to go above and beyond for your pet to make sure that you and your pet are more than happy! I currently take care of my cat at home.
