“Amanda is incredibly responsible, thoughtful, and such a dog person. Rosie was in love with her at first sight. Lucky to have her as part of my "dog team."”

“Anne did a great job communicating her availability and being timely on our scheduled walks. She also followed our requests to walk certain routes and handled Biscuit's route preferences and hesitations during the walk well. I really appreciate her patience and professionalism to keeping us in the loop on GPS tracking and his status during the walk. Thanks Anne!”

“Sarah came by on short notice and was great with Benji, taking lots of pictures and giving him a longer walk than I probably would have. Huge help while we're adjusting to the new city.”

“Hannah was great getting Logan moving in the middle of the day while I was at work. She's super responsive and was a huge help to me in my first week back in the office.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, I’ve owned a fish, 7+ rabbits, 2 hamsters, a turtle, a chick, and currently own 2 dogs. I’ve petsit for mainly friends, I’ve housed a dog until we could find him a home. I also have experience with Guinea pigs and cats. My current schedule is very open and I have lots of availability! I am available almost daily now and will have lots of time for your fur babies. When I walk dogs I love to play with them and pet them before doing anything else so that they feel more comfortable with me being in their home. Then I clean their diapers and wash/replace their food bowls. Then I will take them for a 30min-1 hour walk and when we return back home I like to give them play time if time allows.
About: I believe in the Golden Rule of Pet Care: I will treat your pets as I would treat my own. I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up in a home with dogs and now caring for three cats of my own for over 12 years. That experience has given me a strong understanding of how different every pet can be, from energetic and social, to shy and anxious. I understand that “pets” are truly members of the family. What I offer is thoughtful, individualized care. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so they feel safe and at ease while you’re away. During visits, I’m attentive and engaged. Whether that means walks, playtime, or simply keeping your furry baby company so they don’t feel alone. My time with your dog or cat is special, so I won't be scrolling on my phone during our visits (except to send you photos and updates!). I’m also detail-oriented when it comes to feeding routines, home care, and maintaining a clean, stress-free environment. You can expect consistent communication and updates, so you always know how your dog or cat is doing. My goal is to provide reliable, high-quality care that gives both you and your pets complete peace of mind. Ideal for weekday walks and midday check-ins while you’re at work! Fits naturally into your routine. Monday through Friday for morning and midday visits (before 5 PM) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Since I provide care in your home, I want to make sure to follow your house rules and your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walk routines, or favorite play activities. Let’s discuss specifics.
“Julia is excellent. Very communicative, timely, and most of all, gave Camden a great walk and lots of love! We loved getting her feedback on the walk and several pics of Camden.”

About: I grew up in a home that was constantly fostering dogs, puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve helped care for shy rescues, energetic puppies, senior hospice dogs, big breeds, little breeds, and pets needing extra patience and structure. Through fostering and daily care, I gained experience reinforcing training routines, reading canine body language, and handling dogs respectfully based on their individual needs and comfort levels. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’m experienced with: • Dog walking • Cat sitting • Overnight pet care • High energy dogs • Senior pets • Rescue animals & anxious pets • Reinforcing basic training routines • Reactive or dog selective dogs • Multi pet households I’m active, reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I understand that not every dog wants to greet people or other dogs on walks, and I’m always mindful of giving pets the space, structure, and calm environment they need to feel comfortable and safe. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, consistency, or just someone dependable while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’ll be available in Arlington, VA, this summer and in San Diego this fall, and I have reliable transportation. My goal is simple: make your pets feel safe, loved, exercised, and happy, and make you feel completely comfortable while you’re away. Can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I have experience in caring for animals with a variety of personalities. I have adopted many animals over the years, and my most recent dog is a Belgian Malinois! He is full of energy and likes going on runs, walks, playing fetch, and anything that involves hours of constant activity. I have had dogs ranging from 3-week-old puppies to a 160-pound mastiff. I have had cats all my life and have bottle-fed multiple litters. I enjoy working with local animal shelters and would love to let your animal steal my heart 😊
