“Kerra and Chris were sent by a guardian angel when I was getting desperate looking to replace my walkers of a year who were moving out of state. My GSD doesn’t do great meeting strangers, so we have to do a very slow introduction to both humans and dogs. She also has reactivity to dogs around our condo building (which there are tons of) so I needed someone who would be understanding with her when she has big feelings and who I could trust to keep her out of trouble and avoid any dangerous incidents. I had a bunch of meet n greets with potential walkers and none seemed to feel like the right fit for our needs. She took to both Kerra and Chris instantly when she met them and they displayed patience and understanding with her and took the extra time to visit us several times over the course of a few weeks before they started on a permanent basis so she could get very comfortable with them coming into her home and being her guardians when I’m not able to be there during an extremely busy work season that requires 5 days in office and some evening events. They have showed up for her in so many ways, but the biggest favor they did after all of that was to carve out an entire day between the two of them to cover staying with her in my apartment while painters came and repainted the doors in my hall, leaving the door open and without an accurate schedule or window of time to know when they’d be by. My building didn’t accommodate a request to do mine while I was home one day so I was forced to figure out a way to keep Strawberry from being very stressed all day in her crate with strangers coming in and out and they came through for us with just a few days’ notice. I can’t thank them enough. They went above and beyond for Strawberry in a big way. And I feel they both love her and take care of her like their own three pups! I also love that they are a dynamic duo - it helps in times where one may not be able to make the schedule work one day and the other is immediately able to cover without me having to do additional coordination with another walker on the fly! They are truly a blessing in so many ways!”
