“Larissa has been great so far with our puppy Moose. She has also been able to adapt very well to our changing schedule without ever having an issue. We appreciate how much she cares for Moose and look forward to continuing utilizing her services!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I have had 4 King Charles Caveliers that have given me such joy and in walking a learning experience. I have been walking and dog sitting for 10 years. Dogs are a wonderful warm calming place for me they bring me such joy and to know I can ensure the owners a safe experience for their pet brings me joy. I’m currently a substitute teacher with Fairfax County part-time. I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I’m available in the summer seven days a week and boarding on the weekends. My favorite hobby is walking 25K is my goal every day better way to do it. I’m a grandmother of three they call me Granny stepper. I have a fenced in half acre yard for my two king Charles Cavaliers to play with your food. If my dogs need to be created to create a space I can do that as well.

“Our dog Winnie loves going on walks with Aislyn! Aislyn is happy to let her wander and sniff to her heart’s delight, which really helps tire her out in time for some lazy afternoon naps.”

“Kelly is a fantastic walker and our Ducky has been extremely happy and satisfied with each walk! Kelly is very detailed and will give updates on what Ducky did and where he went after every walk”

“Isabelle walks my goldendoodle furchild every day and she’s such an important part of Maya’s life. To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

“Suphaphattra responded to us very quickly to walk our 55-lb lab mix on short-notice and did everything we hoped she would do! We would very happily use her services again - thank you Evie!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. As an elementary school teacher, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing approach to every pet I care for. Having loved my own dog, Stella, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family member while you’re away. I’ve cared for large dogs, bully breeds, senior dogs, and puppies, and I’ve volunteered and fostered for animal rescues. I’m happy to provide overnight care and can host small pets (caged or contained) in my home, while offering in-home visits for dogs and cats. My goal is to give more than just food and walks; I provide love, attention, and companionship so every pet feels happy and cared for. I currently work full-time as a teacher. Workdays are usually busy from 8:00-5:00. My weekends and holidays are flexible. During weekends and holiday breaks (FCPS schedule currently), I'm free to create my own schedule and would base it on the pet's needs first. I can't currently take dogs or cats into my own home, but I can care for them out of the comfort of their own home. That might mean petsitting/housesitting, or if your pet is comfortable sleeping alone overnight, I can accommodate their needs with visits instead of sleeping over. As for other pets, I can take those into my home for care, or out of your home.
“Amanda is incredibly responsible, thoughtful, and such a dog person. Rosie was in love with her at first sight. Lucky to have her as part of my "dog team."”

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover with both a cat and dog of my own (Peanut Butter and Jammy!), I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets. While I’m new to pet sitting on this app, I’ve spent years caring for pets of friends and family—everything from playful puppies and kittens to senior fur babies needing extra TLC. I treat all the pets I watch like my own and never skimp on care to make sure they get just as much time and attention as they do when they are with you! I have hands-on experience administering medication and supporting pets who may not be feeling their best, and I’m always patient and gentle with those who need a little extra attention. I’m able to work around your pet’s schedule and their normal routine. I’ll be available around the clock for all your pet’s needs! What sets me apart is my calm, intuitive approach to animal care. I let each pet guide our interactions so they feel safe, secure, and comfortable. I’m really attentive and observant, so it’s easy for me to tell how your pet is doing and make them feel at ease!

“Joon was great with Luna, who is a very sweet but timid dog especially since this was her first time being walked by someone else without my presence. Joon was calm, confident, and caring and I will 100% use him again.”

About: I have had dogs most of my life. My last dog died 2 years ago. I love dogs and miss dogs in my life and is excited to meet your dog. I typically will only take one dogs at a time, it allows me to focus on that dog’s needs. Also, when boarding my own dog (Frek) with other dog. He might return having learned misdeeds from other dogs. I wish for you not to need addressing new issues after he has been with me. I usually accept dogs that do not shed, as we have allergies. I do not work and can be around your dog most of the time during day and evening. If I need to run an errand likely another adult is here. I have a large fully fenced in back yard in a neighborhood with ample of opportunities for safe walking and meeting other dogs. If your dog requires hiking through woods I can accommodate that too.
“Juan has been super reliable, friendly, and good with managing our dog. He is very responsive to texts and goes out of his way to update us on how things go on his walks with our dog!”

About: Hi there! I grew up loving dogs, in fact, my older sibling was our family German Shepard! She made sure I was safe, and I made sure she was well loved! I understand how important four-legged family members are. I will provide your fur baby with the same level of care I would want for my own. I LOVE dogs and they love me! I have owned and cared for a full range of dogs. You can feel relaxed with your pet in my care, whether a baby or mature pet, I’ve handled them all! Also, as an experienced foster mom, I am fully comfortable and capable of handling newly adopted or foster dogs, and shy/timid dogs. I have no breed or size restrictions. All furry friends are welcome! Whatever you and your pet need, I am here to help. Currently, I am focused only on dog sitting. Although I tend to schedule tasks when I am not caring for a dog, if I need to run an errand, pups are never left alone for more than one to two hours. My home is very pet friendly and safe. Your fur baby is more than welcome to hang out with me on the couch or on the bed! Let my love of pets help you feel secure in your fur baby's safety and well-being.

Abigail did a great job with our large dog. Was super attentive to detail asking all of the right questions to ensure she was able to adequately take care of our dog. Was able to flex to a last minute schedule change and could instantly tell that our dog had a great time and was played with well.

Taylor is amazing! My little senior dog is a little hesitant especially only being cared for by family members up until now. Taylor was so gentle and calm and allowed Boomer to warm up to her at his own pace which he actually did quicker than I thought! I thought I would be nervous using a dog walker but Taylor is so great as a person and as a professional that I will happily use her again and again.
