About: I’m a pre-vet student who just graduated from UVA and has grown up with two large dogs! I’ve also recently owned a hamster from a college lab! I have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and family including puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I also have about 100 hours of dog walking experience from a shelter so I am comfortable with reactive/fearful/energetic dogs, and another 100 from shadowing at a vet practice. I am currently looking for a vet assistant job so my schedule is open 7 days a week! I am used to all day pet sitting. He can be reactive on walks and is a super anxious boy in general so I have experience managing nervous dogs. Leo has taught me to see every dog as a cherished family member and loyal companion. When I meet a dog, I want to make them feel as loved and special as they make us feel everyday. My goal is to spend as much time as possible with dogs and I would love to meet yours! I know how exhausting it can be to work and meet your pets needs, and I would love to give you some peace of mind knowing they’ve gotten attention, love, and exercise while you’re busy. I am a student home for the summer and am free until September, but am taking a couple of weekends away so make sure to check my calendar. I am open to spending time with your dog in your home during the day and stay overnight for up to a week. I can do mealtimes and take walks/backyard playtime. And of course, will include endless cuddles.
