About: I’ve had pets my entire life. Currently I have 4 cats and a golden retriever! I have been dog sitting and house sitting for my neighbors for years now and am wanting to do it more often! I have taken care of dogs ranging from 8 weeks to 12 years old and cats of all ages. I graduated from James Madison University this past June and I am wanting to fill my days off with fun spending time with your pets! I’ve taken care of many pets with various needs ranging from needing medication, specific sleep and walk schedules, crates, etc. I am willing to do whatever is needed for your pets!

“Juan was ABSOUTLEY amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure my nephew Apollo’s was comfortable and loved. He also went even further resetting the whole house (cleaning dishes, comforter, etc.)! When ever Apollo is in VA I will always make sure I check if Juan is available first before looking for other sitters. Juan’s communication was also stellar! Sending pictures and constant contact which helped my anxiety tremendously. He followed my provided guide with flying colors and when Apollo got a little sick helped him back to perfect stool! Emily was great. I really appreciated how upfront she was with her schedule and clarifying what was needed when. I don't need sitters to stay in the house 24/7, nor do I need them to do everything perfectly. Good communication both prevents - and solves - most problems, and Emily communicated well.
Tim did awesome watching our dog Fia. We were able to relax on vacation knowing our girl was being well cared for back home. He followed all of the instructions we left. We never had to ask for updates as he provided them throughout the day. He went above and beyond during the week. We will be booking with him again anytime we need a sitter.
Karuna has been great with our two critters! I especially appreciate her flexibility and quick response times, as it’s made last minute delays/general travel chaos easier to navigate. I also really appreciate that when I forgot to update our care instructions after we moved, Karuna rolled with the punches and quickly figured out our new layout and where everything belonged.
Summar was amazing as usual! She takes great care of both my cat and my dog when I am away, sends regular updates with really cute collages, and responds quickly to messages. Both Callie and Millie were excited to see her again and other pet people in my building have highlighted how great she is too! Thanks so much again Summar!
Erica was a wonderful house sitter for our dog, Winnie (and lizard Ace)! She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of, especially when W. was having a few tummy issues. Erica was very attentive, loving and supportive. Erica is extremely responsive and responsible. We received many pictures and updates throughout our trip. Everything was well taken care of, cleaner than when we left! We'd definitely reach out to Erica for any future trips.
Emma did a wonderful job! She was very accommodating. She allowed our Poppy to stay at her home when renovations to our place were not finished in time. I don’t think Poppy behaved as well at Emma’s as she does at home so we truly appreciated Emma’s fortitude. We received sweet pics of Poppy out on walks with Emma and snuggling with her in her home. We would definitely recommend Emma!
Erica was very sweet with our Boston Terrier, Gilligan. She came over twice before the stay to make sure both she and Gilligan felt comfortable, which we really appreciated. She was understanding of his anxiety and willing to work within his routine, including his medication schedule. She was communicative while we were away and made sure he was fed and cared for. Thank you for taking care of our pup!
Sun did a fantastic job watching my dachshund over the weekend at my condo while I was out of town. I found her to be thoughtful, patient, communicative, professional, and kind. My dog has had a complicated year medically and I felt that Sun listened to all my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my little guy was comfortable. She also did a great job with my two guinea pigs. I will definitely be using her in the future!
