I've been around animals my whole life, from my own pets growing up to regularly caring for friends' cats/pups as an adult, plus 3 years of pet sitting through Trusted Housesitters. I'm used to stepping into a pet's routine and making sure they feel comfortable the whole time their people are away. Right now isn't the right time for me to have a pet of my own, so caring for yours is something I genuinely look forward to. I have a real soft spot for older dogs, but I'm just as happy with energetic pups who need to burn off steam. Whatever your pet needs — a long walk, medication assistance, a game of fetch, zoomies release or just some couch time — I'll meet them where they are. If you're looking for someone who'll treat your pet like their own, I'd love to meet you both! I work full time from home, which means I'm around and flexible throughout the day — not tied to a 9-to-5 that keeps me away for long stretches. I can easily fit in walks, drop-ins, or playtime between meetings, and I'm also open to house sitting or overnight stays when needed. Because I'm home so often, I can usually accommodate last-minute bookings too. When in your home, your pet's comfort and safety come first! Leaving my cat, Sohna, while he was unwell and required daily medication was particularly stressful. Finding Asher Saige through Rover turned out to be an enormous relief. Asher was exceptionally responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. He ensured that Sohna was well fed, received his medication, and remained comfortable throughout my absence. What impressed me most was the wonderful rapport he developed with Sohna. Caring for an unwell animal requires patience, sensitivity, and trust, and Asher demonstrated all three. His regular photographs and thoughtful updates gave me tremendous peace of mind throughout my trip. I returned to find Sohna happy, relaxed, and in excellent spirits. Asher combines genuine affection for animals with the reliability and conscientiousness every pet owner hopes to find. I would recommend him without hesitation, particularly to anyone whose pet requires additional care and attention.
Timothy is a gem of a dog sitter! He watched our two dogs for the weekend and we couldn’t be happier with his things went. By the end of his visit, I received a video of our anxious dog (who usually hides the entire time we are away)playing with our other dog! Timothy is super responsible and responsive which enabled us to relax while away. Plus he left the house spotless!
Lilian saved the day!! When our boarding situation fell through for our pittie, she had no problem adding him to the pet sit with our other dog last minute. They are a handful together and she did wonderfully. They both also take medications and it’s a lot to manage!!! We are so thankful !! I’m always anxious to leave them and she made me feel relieved.
Hannah is a superb dog sitter! She does a great job with our big, energetic German shepherd when we’re out of town and takes wonderful care of our house, too. She’s extremely punctual and communicative, and we never worry when she’s taking care of our dog and house.
Anya is truly a 5-star sitter. She was so attentive with my senior pup, Wetzel! She made sure he felt safe and comfortable, and even cracked the code on getting him to take his critical heart meds! Wetzel ate well, slept soundly, and got along so well with her sweet dog, Watson—two old boys hanging out. To top it all off, she gave me the sweetest wallet-sized Polaroid of Wetzel when I picked him up. I couldn't ask for a better sitter!
