I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. As an elementary school teacher, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing approach to every pet I care for. Having loved my own dog, Stella, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family member while you’re away. I’ve cared for large dogs, bully breeds, senior dogs, and puppies, and I’ve volunteered and fostered for animal rescues. I’m happy to provide overnight care and can host small pets (caged or contained) in my home, while offering in-home visits for dogs and cats. My goal is to give more than just food and walks; I provide love, attention, and companionship so every pet feels happy and cared for.

Jessica did a great job walking our dog Bruno for 3 weeks. She was attentive to Bruno’s personality, behavior, and needs. We did a meet and greet for initial setup and from there she gave me notes for each walk. She took care of a wound that happened and gave daily notes on the wound to ensure it didn’t need further care. She accommodated schedule changes when needed/available for rain. I hope she is available for any future needs.
Jessica is a profound animal lover who has cared for my Pit Bull, Bailey, several times. Bailey absolutely adores her, almost to the point where I get jealous of how excited he is to see her! Jessica is extremely responsible and has been more than flexible with making sure she can squeeze me in when I am in a bind. She also spends a lot of her spare time volunteering for animal rescue organizations. Bailey is like a child to me and I wouldn't just leave him in anyone's hands, but I trust Jessica implicitly and would recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter.

Schedule
I currently work full-time as a teacher. Workdays are usually busy from 8:00-5:00. My weekends and holidays are flexible. During weekends and holiday breaks (FCPS schedule currently), I'm free to create my own schedule and would base it on the pet's needs first.

I can't currently take dogs or cats into my own home, but I can care for them out of the comfort of their own home. That might mean petsitting/housesitting, or if your pet is comfortable sleeping alone overnight, I can accommodate their needs with visits instead of sleeping over. As for other pets, I can take those into my home for care, or out of your home.

A typical day
I'm active and able to take dogs out for long walks, playing in the park, exploring trails, etc. I have my own dog-friendly transportation and know a lot of great walking trails in the area.
