I try to follow what the owners would like for their pets in terms of love and discipline. I personally love to pet them for a while after our walks. I would need to have free parking available for dog sits.

No breed preferences. I would like to know the feeding and walking schedule, when they usually go to sleep at night and for how long. If there are any fears or anxieties about other dogs. Are treats allowed, and if so, how often? Any special quirks or likes? I would prefer dogs who don't pull strongly, as my hand has been injured by this in the past.
A typical day
If the owners prefer, I can take the dog on long walks in parks. If shorter walks are preferred, I would probably go around the neighborhood, unless there's too much traffic. We could then go to a dog or regular park. I like to play fetch with dogs, or with dog toys. I think it's important for most dogs to be as active as possible, considering health issues.

Pet care experience
I fell in love with dogs when my daughter adopted a rescue mutt several years ago. I have since taken regular care of Stanley while she travels for her job. Our human-dog bond has taught me how important dogs can be to our well-being, and what unique personalities they have. I have also walked dogs for shelters, and love the frisky pups as much as the shy older dogs. I enjoy grooming dogs (I'm not talking about poodle do's, but the brushing and cleaning) and playing with them. I think it's important that dogs have a consistent experience, so I take care to follow the owners' advice about feedings, walks, and activity levels. I also just like to pet them a lot! I think it's important for dogs to be given a lot of attention.

As usual, Pam was a great companion and caregiver for Jasper and did a great job communicating with us!
Pamela has become another mother to Ruby, my senior dog. She notices when Ruby is not herself, communicates with me and, together, we solve the little things that come up when you have a senior dog. Pamela is also so respectful and considerate of my home. At this point, I’m not sure I could do my life without her!
Pamela took wonderful care of our dog Theo (and of our apartment) when we were out of town for a long weekend. She sent regular updates and photos, and it was clear from her observations and questions that she was incredibly attentive to his routines and patient with his many quirks! We hope to have the opportunity to work with Pamela again!
Pam took great care of our young Scout and kept us informed throughout our trip. Pam left the house spotless and was very patient with our puppy.
