Safety, trust & environment

Your pet will never be unattended outside, and leash laws will be followed. I'm a tough woman, and I go out in weather that some may not be brave enough to go out in. I will never feed your pet unapproved food or treats. Cleanup is not an issue, and I will do my best to prevent carpet stains (wipe muddy paws and wipe up various other messes because life happens.) I can administer medications responsibly. Your pet's comfort and safety will always be first. I will adjust to the needs of reactive or spicy pets so they still get one on one playtime if they want, or we can long-line leash and/or go out during non-peak dog walking hours. Attention Pet Parents: My cat had recently died of Lymphoma and my father had returned to the hospital having complications after a triple bypass surgery. The chaos in my life has since resolved, and I am returning to full time scheduling effective immediately. Thank you all very much for your patience and understanding while I have been on a short hiatus to handle my personal life.

Information Renee W. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences. I'm used to being greeted by cane corsos with an open face. Bring it on. I need to know food, meds, activity level, reactivity, and if they have Houdini Mode. Common sense/Bare minimum requirements: I must be able to safely leash/walk/feed your pet. They don't have to be a perfect little lovebug, but they're not allowed to bite my face off, either. If your pet is not house broken/is destructive to the point where you cannot leave them alone between 4, 6, or 8 hours without them chewing up the house, then please do not hire me. I will not take jobs where the pet is never by themselves at all. This is what I do full time and I need to be able to move and accept dog walks nearby during the stay.

A typical day

Playtime activities are completely up to your fur babies. I can wrestle and play gentle, or just give extra cuddles and belly rubs. They will never be forced to do anything they don't want to, and they will control when playtime stops.

Please see the availability in my calender before requesting. Meet & Greets are required for new clients before booking. I will attempt to contact you twice about a Meet & Greet before archiving the request under 'No Response'. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish. I have 2 cats, a beautiful rednose pittie, and fish of my own. I can administer medications, and hit trails with your fur babies if they are up to it. I live near the Four Mile Run, W & OD, Bluemont, Upton Hill, and Lubber Run park trails, and I know them well. LET'S GO PLAY IN THE WOODS! ♥️ I'm completely fearless with dogs and cats, and will adjust to the needs and comfort level of any reactive or spicy fur babies. I have no breed preferences. Renee took such great care of our dog, cat, and home! Our cat needs an inhaler and our dog started having tummy troubles right before we left (of course) and she handled it all.

Renee took wonderful care of our dogs and home. She even had a bunch of food for us when we got back, which was amazing after a long trip with children.
