About: Growing up I always owned animals as I love all kinds of animals from big to small. It was always my dream to own a dog or a cat and ever since getting my very first dog in middle school, I learned a lot about what it takes to give love and handle an animal with care and attention. I would love to take care of your animal just as if it were my own as I own a cat myself and am fostering cats when I can. I am also an active volunteer for the rescue organization here in nova called 4paws. I believe that all animals deserve the best. I have several years of experience taking care of animals/pets and will follow any specific needs that your pet requires. I will promise to go above and beyond for your pet to make sure that you and your pet are more than happy! I am taking care of my cat full time and providing care for my clients throughout the week as well! I am usually spending time with my roommates cat as well. I provide a lot of toys and cat trees at home for my own cat and will make sure your pet is provided all of their needs.

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I currently have a senior dog of my own, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and staying on top of things like medications, feeding schedules, and extra attention. I’m very attentive when it comes to giving meds on time and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I also regularly care for my best friend’s puppy whenever she travels, so I’m comfortable with younger, high-energy dogs as well. Whether your dog loves long walks, or just wants company and cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and needs. I’m very active and genuinely enjoy going on long walks, being outdoors, and spending time with animals. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always treat them like they’re my own! I currently work three 12-hour shifts per week as a nurse, and my schedule rotates between day shifts and night shifts. Outside of my scheduled work days, I have a lot of flexibility and availability for pet care, including walks and drop-ins. On my days off I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so I love taking dogs on long walks, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of exercise. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, including giving medications on schedule and being attentive to changes in behavior or energy levels. I’m also more than happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have a dog of my own that I’be cared for independent for the past 6 years. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I also work in education, so patience, responsibility, and communication are a big part of my everyday life. I know how important it is to trust someone caring for a member of your family, and I’ll always treat your pets with that same level of care. I’m a full-time teacher, but I have evenings, weekends, holidays, and summers off. Have time to pop in and give walks, potty breaks, etc. to your dogs! I will make sure to follow all rules and procedures given to me by my clients at their home. I will follow all health and diet guidelines for their dogs as well.

About: I’ve taken care of a multitude of different dogs and cats throughout my life - whether it be for friends, neighbors, family, or even coworkers! I have lots of experience in cat care - including grooming, nail trimming, and oral medications. I have 3 cats of my own, so I’m very adaptive to all sorts of cat personalities! My experience with dog care is just as plentiful! I’ve taken many on fun walks, played fetch, groomed fur, and dispensed oral medication. I’m rather good when it comes to pulling on leashes, and I also have experience training young puppies. I’m available at all times during the week! Whether you’re looking for someone to check in on your pup to feed, give bathroom breaks, groom, or play with, I’m available morning, afternoon and evening! The same applies to kitty owners! I always make sure all fenced in homes are securely locked in the event a dog wants to play outside. All leashes and collars will be checked before walks, and if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs I will be sure to maintain a safe space between myself and other owners. As for cats, I always make sure that all doors are quickly closed and closed all the way to prevent any indoor kitties from escaping. If your cat is outdoor/indoor, I’ll make sure they get back inside safe and sound!

About: I have been pet sitting and walking for 11 years. My neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for, walk, and feed their pets! I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech's Arlington campus. This summer I will be working remotely with plenty of time to care for your pet! Unfortunately I cannot care for your pets in my own home because our landlord does not allow pets however I am happy to care for them in your home!
