We had never used Rover before and weren't really sure what to expect, but Elena was amazing! She was very communicative and sent pics and updates everyday. When our contractor unexpectedly came to do some work on the house, she handled it beautifully. She even updated us on the contractor's coming and goings, which we very much appreciated. On top of all this, she took great care of our pup! Leaving your pet can be overwhelming, a little sad, and even make you feel a little guilty. Now we realize that we were leaving her with someone who truly cared for her just was much as we do. And that is a really good feeling. We felt that Elena really went above and beyond. We would love to use her again.

We can’t recommend Elena highly enough! She recently looked after both of our anxious dogs and two cats, and she was truly exceptional. Our dog tends to be very nervous around new people, but Elena approached them with such calm, gentle energy that it made a world of difference. She took the time to gain our dog’s trust at her own pace, never rushing or forcing interaction, and by the second day, they were cuddling on the couch! Elena was incredibly patient and attentive, following our instructions for the dog's medications and checking in with updates, photos, and honest notes about how things were going. She also gave our cats plenty of love and kept his routine consistent, which helped him stay relaxed while we were away. It’s rare to find someone who is so intuitive with animals, especially those who need a little extra care and understanding. Elena truly went above and beyond to make all four of our pets feel safe and loved. We returned home to happy, calm pets—and that peace of mind is priceless. We’ll definitely be asking Elena to sit for us again!
