About: I know how important it is to find someone who will treat your pup like family while you're away. I work from home full-time, so your dog will always have company and lots of cuddles throughout the day. - I only host one client at a time, so you dont have to worry about unfamiliar dogs during their stay. -Whether your dog loves playtime, long walks, cuddles on the couch, or a slower-paced routine, I’m happy to match their needs. -I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I also have experience with dogs with separation anxiety and food or environmental allergies. 📷 You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and well cared for. **I live in an apartment building, so I can't safely accommodate large dogs that are reactive to people or other dogs, since it's not possible to completely avoid encounters in shared spaces.** I can accommodate regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and check-ins, and I’m able to adjust my routine to meet your dog’s needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I follow all care instructions, use leashes on walks, and provide a calm, secure environment with regular updates.
About: I live in the city and work for myself, so my hours are flexible! I absolutely love training dogs and puppies, as well as taking care of each animal as if it was my own! I fostered a few puppies, including very aggressive ones, and then happened to adopt the last one I fostered- my pup, Rosie! Rosie doesn’t live with me on the days I have available for pet sitting. I’m very good with reactive and anxious dogs as those are mainly the ones I’ve fostered. Also, I’m confident in high stress scenarios, including reactivity, health issue scares, or sudden crisis situations. I work from home as a business owner, managing my own hours. It’s easy for me to do a last-minute bookings or plan in advance. I treat all animals as if they’re my own, meaning, I feed and walk them at their proper hours, consider their feelings, and respect the wishes of their owners!

She took such great care of him, made sure he got plenty of walks and playtime, and kept me updated throughout the day with thoughtful messages and photos. I would 100% trust Catherine again and will definitely be booking her in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and just absolutely adore them! I’m a long time dog lover, and have experience helping a fellow Rover Dog walker/Dog sitter care for pups many times! I also work in the emergency department, so staying calm and getting the job done are a huge part of my day to day! I currently work shift work, so on the days I’m off, I am free to dedicate a lot of time to making sure your dog is well cared for and having the best day! I have a spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space for long walks! There’s also a nearby dog park and plenty of other parks for us to enjoy some play time.

“My maltipoo had a great time with Asma! Asma quickly helped him feel situated in a new environment, and she was caring, fun, and patient with him (she also shared some new treats for him which he loved). Asma’s also very responsive and sent nice updates of their day together. Looking forward to the next time!”

“Emily is such a great sitter she is accomidating and understadning. Winston loves going there and once he realizes where he is doing he tries pulling me to her building. Safe to say he likes his day care time with Emily”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 12 years and can’t imagine life without them. I grew up with dogs and, at 18, became the full-time caregiver for two lovable Springer Spaniels. I cared for them through every stage of life—including their senior years—gaining experience with medication, mobility support, and lots of extra TLC. As a teacher, I bring patience, responsibility, and strong communication to everything I do—including pet care. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. Whether they need playtime, snuggles, or senior care, I’m here to help! As a teacher, I finish work around 3 PM on weekdays, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for drop-ins, walks, or pet sitting. I’m also available for boarding on weekends and school holidays. My schedule is consistent, and I always make sure your pet gets the attention, care, and love they deserve—whether it’s a weekday visit or a weekend stay! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether caring for them in your home or mine, I create a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and relaxed. I follow your instructions carefully—feeding, routines, medication—and keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. My home is pet-friendly and quiet, perfect for weekend boarding. Plus, I live close to a dog park, so your pup can enjoy safe, fun playtime and socialization. I always make sure every walk or visit is secure, stress-free, and tailored to your pet’s needs.

Diana was great with Pisco! He had such a fun time and she took such good care of him. She’s very responsive, communicative, and makes sure to share fun memories as well. Even when Pisco wasn’t feeling the best she made sure he was comfortable and kept me informed. Would definitely recommend her and return for more bookings!

Aoife was wonderful with my dog. From the meet and greet to his day staying with her. My dog can be anxious and Aoife definitely had a calming, caring energy that had a positive impact. She responds quickly to communication and is helpful in very way. Highly recommend.

Leah is amazing! It’s clear how much she loves dogs, and she takes such great care of them. That was so evident from how much fun Pisco had during his day with her. She was also incredibly responsive and kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely trust her with Pisco again!

ABOVE AND BEYOND! Elliot and his partner Lorraine were simply the BEST!!! Our little baby, Yuzu, 12 months old, had never been out of our care till we had to leave him either alone for a day, or much better, to drop him off with Elliot and Lorraine, in order to drop off our daughter for I-Day at the U.S. Naval Academy. Elliot and Lorraine to the rescue! Not only did they watch Yuzu for over 14 hours in their lovely Georgetown home, Elliot even came to pick him up at 5:30 in the morning! They sent us pictures throughout the day, reassuring us of Yuzu's well being. By the end of the day, it was clear that we made the right choice for Daycare, evident by Yuzu being very content socializing with their two very well-behaved babies, Bronte, and Coogee, a few years older than Yuzu, as well as another guest dog. We can't thank you guys enough and really hope to depend on you in the future to care for Yuzu from time to time! We think Yuzu will think of it like a fun day out instead of missing Mommy and Daddy all day!
