The dogs are generally very cautious of strangers, and they were going through some sibling rivalry and needed to be kept apart - on separate floors of the house. Wayne and Jordan’s pet-sitting experience and patience were apparent in their daily communications and photos. It was great to see how the girls warmed up quickly! About: Hi! I’m a proud cat mom to two sweet kitties who are nearly two years old. I’ve always loved animals, but I have a special bond with cats and feel very confident caring for them. Over the years, I’ve helped friends and family care for their cats, feeding, playing, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them the attention they need while their humans are away. I'm usually available after 4 PM on weekdays, and I’d be happy to drop by in the evenings to feed, play with, and care for your cat(s). I can typically stay for a couple of hours to make sure they’re comfortable, entertained, and well cared for. On weekends, I’m more flexible and can stop by anytime. As long as I have a bit of notice, I’m happy to plan my schedule around your needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I make sure doors and windows are securely closed, keep an eye out for any hazards, and follow all instructions carefully, from feeding routines to litter box cleaning and favorite hiding spots. I always take the time to get to know each cat’s personality and comfort level, so they feel safe and relaxed while their humans are away. Whether they’re playful or shy, I go at their pace and provide gentle, attentive care. Trust is very important to me. I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and anything I notice, so you always know your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve jumped at every opportunity to take care of friend’s and family members’ dogs since I was in elementary school! I’ve taken care of dogs with varying medical needs and across a range of breeds. I truly find any time spent with animals a gift, and I’m excited to begin my journey on Rover and help take care of yours. I am a teacher on summer break, so my availability is more than usual! I can walk dogs or drop in between 9:30 am and 12 pm or between 2:30 pm and 7 pm. However, beginning the last week of August, I will only be available after 4 pm due to my full-time job. I aim to begin fostering animals soon, but my residence is currently pet free, so I’ll have time to focus on your fur babies! I have experience with dogs across a spectrum of needs and have experience orally providing medication. As a teacher and dog-lover, I am patient and will work to create a safe environment that is attuned to the needs of your pet(s).

She stayed with our two miniature schnauzers for four days and took exceptional care of both the dogs and our home. We’ve had some not-so-great experiences with Rover in the past, so we were honestly a bit hesitant going in—but Sarah immediately put us at ease. She was communicative, responsible, and clearly cared about our dogs as if they were her own. We came home to two very happy pups and a house that was just as we left it.
