“Supon is the best sitter my dog has had the to stay with! Supon LOVES his doggie clients and my Shih Tzu loves to stay with him. I trust Supon completely, sends great pictures and treats his guests like his own dogs. You couldn't find a better sitter.”

“Our dog, Cactus, had a great time with Jessie and Erick and their dog, Charlie. Cactus came home very tired from playing all day. They sent great photos on her Rover card and were very responsive and easygoing. We’d love to book again.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, from energetic younger dogs to elderly dogs who need extra patience and attention. I have cared for my own dog, which has taught me how important it is to be responsible, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s needs. I have also helped care for my neighbors’ dogs, including both senior dogs and younger dogs, by making sure they are fed, walked, comfortable, and given plenty of love and attention. I understand that every dog has its own personality and routine, and I always do my best to make pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but the rest of the week I am usually at home working or studying remotely. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I am also especially available on weekends, which is a great option for pet parents who need to board their dog at my apartment. I live in a pet-friendly one-bedroom apartment where pets can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I make sure to follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also give pets plenty of attention, love, and a calm environment so they feel at home. My apartment is in a great area with plenty of parks and trails nearby, making it easy to take dogs on walks, get fresh air, and enjoy outdoor time. I always prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness while they are staying with me.
“Wally loved staying there and Claire was wonderful with him. She was very responsive in terms of communication and was willing to meet up once before our stay as a meet and greet to make sure he was okay!”

“My dog stayed with Lee for daycare just once so far, but we're off to a good start. She has been very communicative and thorough. I was pleased to get a mid-day update, and Lee made drop off and pick up very fast and easy. My dog was returned to me content and in good shape. From what I have experienced so far, I would definitely recommend Lee and hope to continue hiring her for future dog sitting.”
“They were both so nice and super friendly! Sent me pictures to update and took my dog on multiple walks a day! Would recommend 10/10 and send Frodo back to them!”

About: **COVID update: After a year of hunkering down, we're excited to start meeting new friends! Jason and I have received our first round of vaccines and anticipate having completed boosters and the 14-day waiting period by the end of May. Until then, I won't be inviting any owners inside our home, but we're happy to meet you somewhere outside, masked for those who are able, and socially distanced. Beginning June 1, assuming there are no untimely waits for our second shots, I'm happy to do in-home meetings though still request masking/social distancing until further notice. We'll also continue to meet folks and pups outside, should you prefer. Thanks so much for helping to keep everybody safe, comfortable, and happy!** As a kid, I always wanted to bring my dog along on family trips to our beach house, but Dad always said no. Now that I'm older (and paying for my own trips), I try to bring my dogs along as often as I can, but I know it isn't always practical, cost-effective, or even safe. So having a reliable, trusted, and FUN pet sitter is a must. I hope to be that person for you, and thanks so much for your consideration! About our life:My philosophy is that a tired puppy is not only a good puppy but a happy and satisfied puppy. So it's a rare (and usually, extraordinarily hot) day that my dogs aren't out and about with me on some kind of adventure, be it morning walks, nightly runs, exploring a new hiking trail, going to the beach, visiting the dog park, or even shopping or dining out. Even if it's so miserable outside we have to move the playtime indoors, nobody falls asleep at night out of boredom. If your pup is more of the hang-out-and-snuggle type, we can accommodate that, too! About my pups: Henry is a six year-old Alaskan Malamute and Kessler is a nine year-old miniature longhaired dachshund, so it goes without saying that we can accommodate pups of all shapes and sizes. Henry loves to play with anyone and anything. Kessler was born blind and she'll usually stick to the sidelines, but she gets along with everyone. They've lived all over, traveled all over, and as a result, they're very mellow and pretty much just roll with the punches. As a bonus, on weekdays we're regularly joined by a big, goofy, wonderful Bernese Mountain Dog for daycare. About our home: We live in the Glencarlyn neighborhood of Arlington in a small cul-de-sac with lots of dogs and dog-friendly neighbors. There's no backyard, just a fenced in patio area, but there's plenty of room to play inside. Our furniture is all dog-friendly (couches, chairs, and the king-sized bed), our floors are dog-friendly (hardwood, tile, and carpeted stairs), my car is dog-friendly (weather permitting, of course), and all of the stuff dogs can get into trouble with (trash cans, laundry hampers, houseplants, things on countertops both high and low, interesting-looking electrical cords, etc.) are absent, behind closed doors, or otherwise dog-proofed. My only house-based concern would be a larger dog that can't easily get up and down the stairs. Since my little one doesn't do stairs, I'm used to carrying her up and down as I move around the house, but my practical limit is probably about 50 lbs or so. About me: After several years as a nonprofit development professional, I recently made the decision to go back to school full-time and become a veterinarian! (I was a political science major, so there's a lot of catching up to do before grad school.) I grew up in the Kansas City area, but I've lived on both coasts and frequented the Gulf Coast, though I've never lived there. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I'm almost never without them - Kessler is even a frequent flier. I've worked in vet clinics and also for a professional boarding facility in addition to caring for my own pets and for those of friends and family, so I have a very well-rounded knowledge of what's required to keep a dog safe, healthy, and happy, and to give you peace of mind. I have two cameras and several social media accounts, all full of doggie photos, so you'll never want for an update, that's for sure. And regardless of what percentage that right sidebar reports, all guests receive multiple photos per visit. (Some people prefer them texted directly, that's all.) FYI: Repeat clients or repeat and new clients may overlap, pending consent from all of the owners involved. For everyone's safety and comfort, I will NEVER have more than one new pup in my home at a time. New clients should be aware that their pup may meet a couple of our regulars during their stay (but not necessarily during the meet-and-greet). Spayed females are preferred, but neutered males (if they're over 8mos of age) are a must! Any temperament is fine, but all guests must be reasonably cool with both very big AND very little dogs, not to mention males AND females (human and canine). Because I already have two plus a regular daycare guest, at least a modicum of leash manners is very much preferred. Advance, in-person meet-and-greets are required for all new guests. We'll do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but for your pup's safety and ours, drop-off cannot be the first time we meet you. Sorry! Repeat guests are welcome to send requests anytime. My schedule changes from semester to semester (and I'm happy to provide more details to potential clients), but in general, between Jason and myself, the dogs will never be solo for more than a couple of hours. Last, but definitely not least, I don't require vaccination records for your pup to stay with us - I take your word for it - but please make sure everything is up to date for their safety and ours before your stay, especially rabies vaccines (since that's what the city cares about) and flea/tick treatments, since even the neighborhood trails go through some pretty heavily wooded areas. Thanks so much!
“Alexia was responsive and flexible when plans changed. Jambo seemed super contented coming from her and I attribute that to her calmness and experience with dogs. She took suggestions and was very patient with Jambo. Thank you so much!”

“Overall had a positive experience with Sush. She was accommodating and communicative. Above all, my pup has a great time there and I can feel at ease knowing he is loved there. We will be back soon.”

“Jason agreed to watch Charlie, our senior citizen dog, at the last minute. Charlie seemed to have a really great time with him. When my wife picked him up, he had a real pep in his step, which is always a good sign. Jason was very responsive, flexible and understanding. We will certainly use him again.”

“Irina is a lifesaver. She accepted my request to pupsit a sweet blind and deaf senior dog on short notice with no hesitation. She was also incredibly kind and flexible with unforeseen timing changes from my side. I picked him up from her house; I'd never seen him so calm and happy. He loves his time with Irina and her two dogs.”

“Abigail and Cole were absolutely wonderful with our pup. They are friendly, communicative, and clearly treated our dog like their own. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup and felt at ease the entire time knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Abigail and Cole to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet sitters!”

“I always get nervous leaving my 1 year old pup with someone new, but Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. I could tell immediately that she’s a dog person, and she sent me tons of updates throughout the day. I’m so grateful for her and will be booking again next time I need daycare!”

“My dog, Freddie, stayed with Joe for an afternoon while we were out in Beaufort. Joe has a great location, super convenient to downtown and a great backyard for the pups to play in. Joe made things super easy and his dog, Watson, kept Freddie busy and entertained for the afternoon. Would highly recommend Joe and Watson and hope to have Freddie stay again in the future!”

“Holly was absolutely amazing with Stella! Stella can be incredibly nervous in new environments, but Holly showed so much patience and gentle care to help her settle in. She truly went above and beyond to make Stella feel safe, comfortable, and loved. It is incredible to find someone who understands anxious dogs so well. We would definitely be booking with Holly again when we are in town—highly recommend!”

“Missy had a great time with Matthew's family and their dog Luna. In terms of coordination, Matthew was very responsive, and flexible with pick up and dropoff times which made our lives very easy. We're in the area for a week on holiday and have already booked with Matthew for next week given what a great time Missy had!”

Faustine and her husband graciously watched my puppy for the day on last-minute notice. This is the second time I’ve used Faustine and my dog absolutely loves her. She is communicative and sends a lot of cute pics through the day with updates Highly recommend!

ABOVE AND BEYOND! Elliot and his partner Lorraine were simply the BEST!!! Our little baby, Yuzu, 12 months old, had never been out of our care till we had to leave him either alone for a day, or much better, to drop him off with Elliot and Lorraine, in order to drop off our daughter for I-Day at the U.S. Naval Academy. Elliot and Lorraine to the rescue! Not only did they watch Yuzu for over 14 hours in their lovely Georgetown home, Elliot even came to pick him up at 5:30 in the morning! They sent us pictures throughout the day, reassuring us of Yuzu's well being. By the end of the day, it was clear that we made the right choice for Daycare, evident by Yuzu being very content socializing with their two very well-behaved babies, Bronte, and Coogee, a few years older than Yuzu, as well as another guest dog. We can't thank you guys enough and really hope to depend on you in the future to care for Yuzu from time to time! We think Yuzu will think of it like a fun day out instead of missing Mommy and Daddy all day!

Christine is a wonderful sitter. Jax is a senior dog, and I always feel confident leaving him in her care because she is patient, attentive, and understands his needs. He comes home happy and relaxed after every stay, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Troy was great! I adopted a dog and needed a sitter to watch him while I get him used to being crated when I go to work. He took the last minute request, was responsive, and took great care of my Beau! He also reported on some of his behaviors for me which was very helpful. All in all a great sitter and I would absolutely leave Beau with him in the future!

Caleb was absolutely fantastic with my pup Avi, who, at 15, is very sweet but can be a bit stubborn. But he took to Caleb immediately, following behind him with his tail a-wagging! In addition to being so great with my dog, Caleb was incredibly responsive, polite, and had great energy.
