“Chang was wonderful in watching Mia, who immediately seemed at ease with her. Chang was able to get her to relax and eat some of her food and also treated Mia to a pup smoothie bowl that she enjoyed. We also appreciated Chang's prompt responses to our messages and all the pictures and updates she shared. We're glad we found Chang on short notice.”

“Forrest & Stephanie were amazing! They really welcomed our dog, Beignet, into their family for the day. They updated us with pictures throughout the day & Beignet was a happy pup!”

“Catherine took care of Nandi perfectly, giving him plenty of playtime and exercise throughout the day. She kept me updated with videos, which was so reassuring, and Nandi looked incredibly happy playing with Winston and Bauer. Highly recommended, and I would definitely love to book with her again!”

“My boys Biscuit and Waffles are very lucky to have a such a wonderful sitter in Leonard! He’s warm, patient, and confident with my boys, who always come home from a visit with Leonard and his family in the best energy. Leonard is on point with communication before and during dog-sitting sessions. My favorite part: the regular update pics of the boys interacting with Leonard’s family (human and fur babies), which show everybody relaxed and chilled in their home. Good vibes all around!”

“Sara was wonderful! Rolo had a great day with her and came back happy and relaxed. We also loved the adorable photos she sent — it was great to see our little guy having such a good time. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of different kind of doggy.i used to worked at a dog daycare center and now i have my own business staying home a lot so i choose to see if I make use of of experience to take care of pups while at home I wake up around 8 at the morning and I will take them for a walk and then they will have their breakfast. After lunch I will take him for a small walk and later on hangout at around 4pm. they will have dinner at around 6 pm and then have a night walk at around 8-9pm I live at a apartment but downstairs have a big dog park. And I mostly WFH, so I will probably spend 99.9%with them, they will have my in their sight.
“Archana was great with our dog, Jane! Communication was easy and she sent updates throughout the day. Jane, who is a rescue, was a little nervous and Archana did well to help ease her anxiety. We are very appreciative!!”

“Amal was a great host for Fozzie. She was communicative throughout the day, sending pictures and updates, and we felt very comfortable with Fozzie in her hands!”

About: Hi, I’m Kira, a lifelong dog lover and recent dog parent! I offer dependable walks, daycare, and in-home sitting that keep your pets active, comfortable, and cared for like family. I believe every dog deserves personalized attention and plenty of playtime. You can count on clear communication, safe routines, and extra snuggles along the way. Whether it’s a quick walk or a cozy overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pup feels right at home. I’m available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for dog walks, whether your pup needs a quick potty break or a long, active stroll, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise and love. On weekends, I offer walks by appointment and house sitting, giving your pet consistent care and comfort while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to let someone care for your dog, and I don’t take that lightly. Before any booking, I love doing a meet & greet to learn your dog’s routines, personality, and comfort needs, it helps me create a calm, consistent environment where they feel at home. I live in a cozy one-bedroom condo with no yard, but dogs get plenty of outdoor time through regular walks and potty breaks. I choose safe, quiet routes and tailor each walk to your pup’s energy and comfort level. My goal is always to make every dog feel safe, loved, and completely cared for, whether we’re out exploring or relaxing inside.
“I am super happy with this pet sitter. This is her full time retirement job so my dog receives the care, stimulation, and attention it needs in a safe and comfortable environment. I can’t use conventional daycares since my dog is a foster and there are increased risks of fights and injuries with many dogs and not enough one on one attention. Her yard has a high and fully secured fence and is big enough to run around in for my husky. She owns a dog that is very friendly which helps give my dog the company and exercise he needs from playing tag in the yard. Huskies have high exercise needs and by the end of the day my husky is tired which is great and less work for me to do. My dog is also slightly special needs and inclined towards seizures and she was very accommodating and administered his medicine when I didn’t have time to get to it one morning. She is quick and diligent with responses and kept track of everything through the day so I got a report from rover that told me how many times he peed or pooped that day, as well as videos and pictures. This will be my go-to for daycare and pet sitting needs for as long as I have my foster dog. Would highly recommend if you want an ideal place to leave your dog where you can be assured that it will be safe and receive full attention and care.”

About: Since I was a child, I have always had pets in my life, ranging from small to large dogs. Each one of them has been either adopted or rescued. They are my favorite companions and I love taking them with me wherever I go. I am also a very active person and I am able to provide your lovely animals all the exercise they need! I have plenty of time to take care of your pet and give it full attention as I have the flexibility to work remotely any day of the week. My partner also works remotely all week so your pet would never be left alone. I like to give my pets a lot of love and attention but also respect their space. I always communicate with the owner to ask what comforts their pets :)
“Tali had the best day with Anya and her dog Scout! Tali was instantly so comfortable with the both of them. Anya kept me updated during the day and was very responsive and flexible. I got lots of pics and videos from her day. I felt completely at ease leaving my pup with her!”

“Donna was wonderful, as always! She's warm, caring, and great with our dog. We also appreciated her clear communication and the regular updates she sent about how our dog was doing!”

About: I had the pleasure of raising my two pups from infancy at the same time - and they’re 10 and energetic now! I am very energetic and love all kinds of dogs, so happy to help! I work from home and am quite flexible during most work days! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m happy to accommodate any daily routine for your dog. I am very active so I can walk them on check-ins and definitely take them out for restroom breaks I have two dogs at home and they love to play with other dogs if your dog is friendly, and if not happy to hang out and take care of your dog alone as well. Whatever you and your dog are most comfortable with!
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old - whether it be my own, my neighbors, or my roommates and friends. My late grandma LOVED animals, growing up we had ducks and rabbits and birds (oh my!) and she definitely made sure that type of love lived on through me. I love providing warm and welcoming environments for all, leading me to be extremely organized and detail oriented. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your furry friends! I’m available every day from 10 AM to 6 PM for walks and drop-ins, and can watch during the day my own home weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. I have an extremely clean, organized, warm and puppy-proofed house with Fillmore Park Trail right in my backyard, often taking my own dog for long walks on it! Long Branch Elementary School is also behind me, where I often take dogs to play on the fields there if they have anxiety in park spaces (bad experiences with other dogs). I frequently go to Shirlington dog park otherwise. If I am caring for your pet in your own home, I will tidy up the space as well if needed (I am a firm believer in respecting other peoples spaces and treating them better than my own).
“Spencer was able to accommodate a last minute daycare request and did a wonderful job with my dog. He asked good questions, sent many pictures throughout the day, and clearly took very good care of Chance.”

Woodmont dog parents share their Rover experiences
From the pictures Hermes appeared to enjoy hanging out with Taylor’s cute pooch. Even though Metro delays meant I arrived for pickup later than expected, Taylor did not complain. Thanks for looking after our furbaby(hope he did not shed much- we had combed him in the afternoon).

Tali had the best day with Anya and her dog Scout! Tali was instantly so comfortable with the both of them. Anya kept me updated during the day and was very responsive and flexible. I got lots of pics and videos from her day. I felt completely at ease leaving my pup with her!

Leila was amazing!! She took wonderful care of my dog Mila, sent updates and photos, and made the whole process stress-free. My dog came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

I was in DC for work and Scarlett took my dog Nili for an overnight and a day of dog sitting. Nili had a great time, she was so excited to see Scarlett when she was picked up the second time. I received lots of pictures and updates throughout the days. Would definitely recommend!

Kelly was responsive, kind, and walked/fed my dog as requested. Though, I want to bring up a note for other dog owners. The area is very urban with mostly concrete and little grass so my dog wouldn't relieve herself until we found grass after pickup, even though Kelly tried her best by walking my dog multiple times. If your dog is skittish, needs grass to go, or isn't comfortable with busy urban environments, this location may be challenging for them.

Vanessa was absolutely wonderful with Niní! She took care of him for three days while I was on a business trip, and he clearly adored her. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and very accommodating with my changing schedule. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I highly recommend Vanessa and would happily book her again!
