About: I’ve wanted a dog ever since I could remember. At 16 years old, my dream finally came true and my family was blessed with our wonderful Maltese, Toby. He is now turning 12 years old this year! In addition to having experience with my own dog, many friends and family have asked me to take care of their fur babies. I’ve had experience with dogs as old at 16 years old and others as young as less than a year - I absolutely love them all! Saturdays and Sundays are free! I work 9am-5pm on the weekdays, Mondays and Fridays I work remote. Tuesday through Thursday I am in office, but my husband will be home to help. I live on the second floor of a condo, so no need to wait for an elevator to get outside! We also have a huge balcony if your fur baby just wants to get some fresh air. If we are in your home, I will make sure to follow all rules and ask questions if I’m unsure about the safety of your pet.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs of all different kinds from a young age! I have a strong love and appreciation for all dogs and their unconditional love. I was an elementary school teacher for 8 years so patience, organization and an intense sense of care are my strongest skills. I am currently in the process of finding a new remote job and am home during the week and most weekends! I love to walk and having a buddy to come with me would make my day. My hours and days are pretty flexible ♥️ I live in an apartment with plenty of outside space around the building to take any pups outside to play with. About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** **For house sitting you must be ok with my dog Buddy coming with me and staying at your house as well.** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.

My dog is always happy to see him and when I get home I know he’s had a good walk. I trust Dominick entering and exiting my house without me being there. If I have any specific instructions whether it is to leave my dog in his crate or to give him a treat before he leaves, I know it’s been done. Typically I use Dominick’s service when I have a busy work day or traveling and he’s a tremendous help in giving my dog (a 15 month old very energetic husky) some exercise. About: My first "real job" was being a dog walker, where I would walk a cocker spaniel named Gonzo after school for 3 years. Since then I have dog and cat sat for neighbors through the years, both for short weekend trips and for longer multi-week trips requiring me to house sit as well. I fostered my first kitten for a month while in college, and helped foster over 30 cats and kittens during the pandemic since I had a little extra time on my hands. Over the past two years I have been pet/house sitting most months. I have watched everything from one dog or one cat for 4 days, to two cats and a dog for 2.5 weeks. I've watched puppies and kittens from 4 weeks old and on, and dogs and cats as old as 14 years. The actual breeds have been all over the place, but in terms of dog size I've watched everything from small terriers and daschhounds to huge labs and german shepherds. In addition to owning and caring for a goldendoodle for 11 years, I've also done a lot of pet sitting for my parents 6 year old rescue hound/lab mix and 4 year old rescue short-haired cat. While watching your dog(s) or cat(s) I would rearrange my schedule as needed to prioritize giving most of my attention to your pet(s). I work remote and generally have a flexible schedule, so I could feed/walk/care for your pet(s) following whatever schedule they are used to. I don't work on the weekends and would be able to dedicate any needed time on weekends to caring for your pet(s)! I am happy to care for your pet in your home the same way you typically do so that they maintain the same routine. Whether that means letting your dog(s) out in a fenced backyard, taking them for neighborhood or trail walks, going to a dog park, or following standard crate rules. Similarly for cats, I am happy to maintain the same feeding schedule, whether it's wet or dry food, and clean the litter box regularly. And of course, give your pets all the scratches and attention they want!
