“It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. I show a lot of love and affection to pups and will keep them occupied and hopefully burn some of their energy playing and going on walks/runs!

I was responsible for training my family’s dogs (lab mix and goldendoodle) basic commands as well as potty training and crate training. Please consider that if you intend on boarding with me. I work remote so I am able to drop by and let your pet out/ play/ walk your pet as needed! I will be getting a puppy July 2026 as well so please take that into consideration when booking boarding. I will always be cautious of entering your home and leaving your home to prevent any type of escapes and make sure that they are content before I leave and make sure nothing is in reach to maximum safety!

“I’d definitely book with Christian again. She took great care of my dog. Sent pictures everyday and was very attentive during my dog’s stay. Sometimes with other Rover stays, my dog acts differently or shy for a few days. My dog was in perfect spirits after her stay with Christian.”
