About: I absolutely love working with animals! I started out volunteering at the SPCA where I got to cuddle and play with adorable cats and dogs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for all sorts of animals, including some sweet pups, cuddly kitties, and even some friendly pigs! Whether it's just stopping by for a quick visit, giving them medicine, or taking them for a walk, you can trust that I'll treat your furry (or not so furry!) friend with nothing but love and care. I have an extremely flexible schedule right now so I have time for any of your pets and their needs. I always try my best to be on time & as thorough as possible even if that means I have to spend more time to get everything done. In my clients home I am always respectful of house rules & what is going on with their pets. Always being attentive and observant of what is going on. While outside on walks it is exactly the same of where we are walking and who is around.

“Our dog fell in love with Carolyn immediately! She has been a tremendous help to us and is a good communicator. I echo other reviewers: we really appreciate her!”

“Kennedy walked and spent some time with Gertie while I had a long weekend stretch at work. She kept me updated throughout and sent ppictures of there walks. I was great to know my dog was getting out while I couldn't be there.”

“Drew thank you for coming on kinda short notice and taking Winston out for a walk he definitely needed it. He took to you from the start. I’m glad I met you and Winston just made a new friend!!”

About: Grew up with dogs since I was 5, walking, feeding, playing you name it I did it! I’ve had both big and small dogs and them all! I am a student with a flexible, College schedule so my availability is pretty open! I can stop by in between errands, or hang out for as long as I’m welcome! Over nights or just a drop in, whatever is needed I’ll make it work! Dogs: I have and will walk them bring them to a dog park, brush them, feeding (including dietary needs), bring them to vets or grooming! Cats: Brushing, feeding (including dietary needs), cat napping, playing, and will bring them to grooming or vets if needed!

About: I have 20 years of experience taking care of pets. My friends, family, and friends' of friends always contact me first when looking for a pet sitter to feed, walk, bathe, and love their babies while they're away. I care for them as if they were my own. I have experience watching cats and dogs from 10 pounds to 110 pounds of all ages and breeds, and for as long as 3 weeks. I work from home via my laptop as an Executive Assistant, so I can work from anywhere and my hours are flexible. I can easily break often for walks, play time, and cuddles. My home is my sanctuary, so when I am house sitting for my clients I treat their homes the way I would want someone to treat my own, which is with the utmost respect and responsibility. I promise to follow any and all rules given to me by clients regarding what is expected when staying in their home.

“Amanda is the best! My girls or rescues and very people selective. She is so patient with them and really got them to warm up and come out of their shells. Definitely recommend for anyone with anxious or stressed dogs!”

About: I have had professional animal care training at Stone Mountain Pet Lodge as a part of the Activity Staff. This included walking, playing, feeding, and cleaning the dogs temporary home! I’m a college kid who’s home for the summer so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pet friendly needs! :) I tend to the needs of the dog while maintaining a safe and respectful attitude. I look out for the safety of the dog first.

About: Hi there! My name is Valeska and I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old. I have also been a Vet Tech for 3 years, gaining lots of experience and exposure throughout those years. I have a Fear Free Certification, so I can ensure a stress free time with your pet. I'm currently working part-time and mostly weekends, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I personally enjoy stimulating my dogs, so I can ensure mental and physical stimulation through fun activities! I would prefer to care for a client's pet in their home rather than mine. For safety and preventative measures aligned with my Fear Free training received through Fear Free Pets, a Veterinary Professional Certification Program, I would ensure to provide a stress free environment, one in which the pets feels safe even though their owner may be absent and a stranger is present.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for years. Friends and family rely on me to take care of their pets when they are away. I’ve taken care of older pets in addition to giving eye drops and oral medication to cats and dogs. I have a cat at home so I am used to her routine and am easily able to fit your pet into my routine as well! I am willing and available to watch your pets. I do work second shift during the week but very available on the weekends. I have an upstairs and basement with plenty of room for our cat, Raven to run and play. She loves to lay on my yoga mat I have out in the living room. We have her litter box in the basement and plenty of toys for her.

About: My name is Sofiia. I had a lovely Labrador Retriever -Kolt, that suddenly passed away last summer. I am not ready to take another furry friend to my house, so I decided that it could be a really great idea to be a pet sitter. I am a full time teacher so I can babysit your pet during weekends. I have a 10 year son that would be happy to spend a lot of playtime with your lovely dog! I am a full time teacher so my schedule allows me to babysit just on weekends or government holidays like president day, send me a text so we could discuss the schedule! I have a fenced backyard that is faced to the lake. Also I live in the suburban area so I can take your dog for walk to the park that is in 3 min away from my home.

“Robert is absolutely amazing! It has made a huge difference in me and my dogs lives and training. I am super busy, but he is great with working around my schedule and leaving detailed reviews/updates for me to review later. I have a hard time trusting people with my baby but his incredible growth has helped me immensely.”

About: I grew up with a dog and multiple cats in the house as a child, and I’ve had my own cat since I was in college (she was a tiny kitten). She’s feisty, and needs lots of love, but always on her own terms. Living with her taught me how to read pet body language and understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. I’m also the go to sitter for my siblings' pets: a high energy border collie who loves adventures, and a rescue Jindo/Shiba mix from South Korea who needs a gentler touch, and a kitty who needs meds on a specific schedule. I treat them like they’re my own, taking them for hikes, field trips, fetch, or just some quiet company. I loved teaching them tricks and helping with their training when they were puppies, so if you’re working on anything specific, let me know and I’d be happy to keep up the training while you’re away! Above all, I care deeply about making your pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I work full time, but have long lunch breaks and can watch your pets before or after work. My weekends are so free, and I have the option to work from home if you need more frequent visits. I live in northeast Minneapolis and work near Mahtomedi, so there are lots of locations that I’d be able to cover during the day! I prefer to care for pets in your home, but I'm happy to take them out on walks, to parks, or just play in your yard if that’s what they like best. I typically don't do overnight stays, but will make sure your pets are well cared for before tucking them into bed!

About: Due to my housing set I could never get my own pet so I take every chance to watch the cats and dogs of my close friends and family members. My weekly schedule is flexible allowing me to spend time with your pet while housesitting. I am always looking for a reason and ways to get out of the house and play. Unfortunately at this time I can’t accept daily checkin without clear end dates. If you’re interested in regular daily walk this summer-message me. I believe you know your pet best. I am able to follow your care instructions to a T so your pet's schedule isn’t disrupted. Let's talk!

About: I’ve dog sat multiple years for my sister’s wonderful dogs and have recently started sitting for friends of family. I’m looking to expand my experience and take care of your dogs! I’m currently available to care for your pet any time! I’m willing to stay at your house so your pets are as comfortable as possible! I’m very active and love to be outside with pets. I love going on walks and spending time at dog parks. I can care for your dog any way you need!

Danielle H.
“Danielle is a fabulous caretaker to my dog, Hippo. She has been one of very few that I trust and leave with my baby for longer periods of time. She follows my dogs semi-strict walking routine, diet and medicines as needed. He feels at ease around her and she is very attentive to his needs. I would recommend Danielle to any pet owner, as she goes above and beyond to caring for any animal. She loves animals just naturally, so when you throw in with a duty to watch and care for a pet, she is the right person to contact. Your animal will immediate attract to her soft, gentle and loving approach. She will be a PERFECT fit for this role.”

“Valeska is a fantastic pet caregiver! She is responsible, loving, and truly passionate about animals. Her background as a VA has given her a ton of experience with multiple owner's pets and she cares for animals at the highest level everyday. I've seen her keep 5+ of her own pets healthy and happy for several years now and she's the first person I always go to for health or behavioral advice. With her attentive care and kindness, pets feel safe and loved. I trust her more than anyone.”

Jacqueline H.
“We have had Jacqueline as a cat-sitter during extended vacations (a week or more). We have two cats, and she is great with them, providing all aspects of care. One of our cats requires daily medication, which she was able to administer (no easy task). In addition to pet-sitting, Jacqueline stayed on-site to house-sit, giving us peace of mind for our home and pets!”

Little Canada dog parents share their Rover experiences
Matt has become our dog Rey's newest pack member. Rey is a keenly smart and strong dog who is not interested in greeting other dogs and prefers her humans. Matt's instincts, knowledge, and calming confidence collaborates well with Rey. He's incredibly responsive and proactive with communication which I really appreciate. I'm thankful for Matt's energy, positivity and reliability as it makes my life so much easier. I leave the house early for work and it gives me peace of mind knowing Matt's walking time w/Rey brings her a calm and a restful day ahead until I'm home.
