“Enlin was great! She was communicative, dependable, and friendly. She was very sweet with my dog and it seemed like they had a very fun time together. I would definitely use Enlin’s services again. Highly recommend!”

“Audrey did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She had great communication and follow through on everything that we agreed needed to be done. I would be happy to hire her again.”

“Kathryn is wonderful. We have appreciated her good humor and patience during the long (but very worthwhile) process of our dog Hildy getting to know a new person. We look forward to working with her going forward.”

“I don’t really need to explain why Rachel deserves 5 stars, she just does. She was communicative every step of the way and SO patient with my problem puppy (who really just a little anxious). She sent pics and updates every day, came once without pay, and deserves 7/5 stars, let’s be real. She was never ever late, never ever skipped, and made it so easy being thousands of miles away from my babes!”

About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! Let me help your dog get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always happy to customize walks to your dog’s needs and energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule varies a bit from day to day, but it’s consistent from week to week. I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!

About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her needs as she has aged. So I understand that it isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I also care for feline friends at their homes while their families are away. I look forward to a fun walk with your dog in the neighborhood or on local outings as well as for your cat's meals, litter box and play. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where we can play and take a break together. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, I can administer that with a pill pocket or other snack but I will not administer injected medications or fluids.

“After a last-minute cancellation, I turned to Rover and found Krystal. She was incredibly accommodating on short notice, taking great care of my three noisy Chihuahuas while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and reassured me that they were doing well. I highly recommend her and will be reaching out to Rover & Krystal in the future.”

“Layla did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She even cleaned up a flower vase that my cat knocked over. Everything looked really clean when I got back. I would definitely book her again.”

About: I love dogs (and cats)! I have walked dogs for family members, neighbors and friends for the past 15+ years. I would love to walk your dogs, play with your energetic pup and make sure they are having an amazing day! I can also stop by to feed and water them, or dog sit, and send you an update you about your dog’s or cat’s status after each visit :-). I’m currently very flexible with my schedule and can come walk your dog most days of the week, given at least a day’s notice, within a radius of 7 miles from San Rafael. I can walk dogs outside of your house or take care of dogs within your house. This includes refilling food, water, treats and playing with your dog. Happy to walk to a nearby dog park if that is available and that is something you regularly do with your dog!

“Cannot say enough positive things about Jill! She did an excellent job with our v active dog and cat for a week plus. She was v thoughtful and attentive to detail. Highly recommend!”

“Trisha was lovely to work with. Her professionalism and care for our cat exceeded all expectations! She went the extra mile and really connected with our little guy when we were out of town. She sent updates and photos every check in. We were so happy to have found Trisha and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a thoughtful, kind and caring pet-sitter.”

About: Hi there! My name is Bella, and I’d love to help care for your furry friends. I have six years of experience with pet and house sitting. I used to volunteer at the humane society, so I am very familiar and comfortable with animals and their needs. I've worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and abilities (deaf, blind, etc.). I’m local to Sausalito, and am happy to help you out if you’re located in Marin. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions! I work a hybrid job, so I am in office a few days a week, but my schedule is flexible. I’m most free in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends, but can work in some afternoons as well! My husband, Michael, is also on my account as he serves as my backup, in case I ever need it. Communication is key! Please let me know if there are any special circumstances related safety for your pet. Personally, I keep cameras around my home for ease of mind, so I understand if you do the same.

About: Hi, I’m Connor! What sets me apart is that I’ve been surrounded by expert-level dog care my entire life. My mom was a vet tech for over 10 years, and for the past 20, she’s been a professional dog walker, boarder, and trainer. Growing up in that environment, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s walking, boarding, or just giving them lots of love and attention, I genuinely enjoy caring for dogs like they’re part of the family. Pet care is my full-time job, so I’m available 7 days a week for dog walking, drop-ins, and house sitting. I have a completely open and flexible schedule, which means I can follow your pet’s routine exactly — whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening feedings, or overnight stays. I’m reliable, responsive, and fully dedicated to keeping your pets safe, happy, and loved while you're away. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and respect for your space. I follow your instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine consistent and reduce stress. During walks and visits, I make sure all doors and gates are securely closed and never leave your pet unattended outside. I keep open communication with you throughout my visits, providing updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Your pet’s safety and well-being, along with respect for your home, are my top priorities.

“If you have any doubts about leaving your furry friend in the care of a home sitter, Marisa will put your anxieties to rest. She took great care of my good buddy Gus the Cat, hanging out with him, giving him treats, and sending daily images of the little guy. I simply could not be more pleased, or grateful.”

“Leonard dropped in to check in our cat while we were away for the weekend. He was very communicative, provide photos and made sure to spend time playing with our girl :) he also helped out while we were away by bringing in packages and taking care of garbage day. We plan to use Leonard again for help with our pets!”

“Sam is great and my dog simply adores him! I think he gets more excited to see Sam than he does for me! Sam will walk my guy, but my dog prefers to play ball or frisbee, and Sam is really fun and listens to what my dog wants to do with his visits! Sam listens to what my training goals are for my dog, and he stays consistent with his training, which is VERY important to me . Sam is a great, trustworthy guy who has a huge heart for animals!”

Christopher A.

“Christopher is my dog loving neighbor - He is patient, kind, thoughtful, and seems to be able to look into dog's eyes and know exactly what they need. His beloved Sadie was a one of kind gal that needed special love, patience, and understanding and he worked with her beautifully, managing every meet and greet with neighborhood dogs with ease. He uses treats to reward good behavior along with loving pats and kind words. I would trust him implicitly with my dog, and yours would be lucky to have him visit for a walk or a stay over. I highly recommend Christopher!”

Lise M.
“I HIGHLY recommend Lise as not only a sitter for your animal child, but as someone who will truly give your pet the love, attention, and care they deserve! She has watched my dog Zora an abundant amount of times & each time I have had no worries at all because I knew she was in good hands. Zora would come back so happy & in great shape. Zora can be leash reactive towards other dogs when being walked, barking obnoxiously, pulling, and will tend to knip anything in your way including your own leg until she feels she is at a safe distance (but funny enough is fine with other dogs off leash or once she gets to smell them, but most people are rightfully too scared to let her do that 😅). Lise has paid extra attention to this and made sure Zora could be walked without incident. She also regularly would check in about anyways she could best Zora & even take pictures/send updates. I consider Lise to be highly compassionate, considerate, knowledgeable, and capable in her dog handling/care skills. She is always excited and intrigued to learn more in order to provide the best care. I would not pass her up as an option to support your pet family 🫶”

Kentfield pet parents share their Rover experiences
I cannot recommend Kristen highly enough. She stepped in at the last minute when my regular sitter became unavailable, and she has been incredibly helpful and loving with my cats. She is also a very kind person! We will definitely be booking with her in the future. Thank you, Kristen!

We cannot say enough good things about Kathryn. We have a very reactive (but very sweet) rescue dog who does not trust easily. And in just a few months Kathryn has earned her entire trust. Kathryn has both walked Hildy regularly and then this weekend did her first housesit with Hildy. We came home to a happy dog and an immaculate house. We trust Kathryn entirely with our home and our beloved dog. She is kind, warm and down-to-earth and puts everyone at ease. You will not go wrong hiring Kathryn.

Lydia was amazing! I have had my cat for 5 years, and on my most recent trip, I was really able to relax knowing that my cat was in excellent hands. Lydia responded super quickly, sent pictures and thorough updates, and I can tell my cat felt very loved and cared for while I was away--this really stood out because my cat can be a little shy, but she just loved Lydia from the moment they met. I highly recommend booking Lydia, she is a true professional who clearly takes pride in her work.

Jen was fantastic with our four-month-old puppy. I was out of town, and while my husband works from home, a puppy requires much attention. Jen came home one hour daily to walk, play, cuddle, and train our little Lucy. Upon my return, Lucy was better at walking on a leash and listening to some commands, such as sit. Lucy also progressed at crate training and showed reduced anxiety when she needed to go in the crate for a short time. She is now comfortable being in the playpen when I work. Jen has a lot of experience with puppies. She made sure to stay in communication with me and sent me cute pictures all week. I trusted my little bundle of love was well taken care of when with Jen. We recommend Jen without any hesitation.

After a last-minute cancellation, I turned to Rover and found Krystal. She was incredibly accommodating on short notice, taking great care of my three noisy Chihuahuas while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and reassured me that they were doing well. I highly recommend her and will be reaching out to Rover & Krystal in the future.

Katherine was exactly what you hope for in a dog sitter. She was dependable, loving with our dog, and respectful of our house. I would and will hire katherine again for dog visits. She communicates well and follows directions perfectly. It felt like she was an extension of our family taking care of the family dog. 💕💕💕💕

Taylor was great! She is so kind, respectful, responsible--everything! She sent pictures and asked clarifying questions when necessary. It's hard to find reliable and trustworthy help for fur babies. Taylor is a pet sitter you can count on! Thank you so much Taylor!
