About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I appreciate every minute I have with them and all animals. I created my own dog walking business several years ago and gained lots of experience working with and observing the ways dogs function. I am currently Undergrad at UC Davis but use my free time to walk the dogs at Yolo County Animal Shelter. These days, I am working hard at school but appreciate the time I have with any animal! About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child. I have a 17 year old dorkie (dachshund/yorkshire terrier mix) at home that I love very much! I've used my free time to volunteer at animal shelters and would love another way to interact with animals while I attend law school. I attend law school so before and after class, as well on the weekends, I am available! I can be even more flexible on days that I don't have class. About: I have been caring for animals for 15 years of my life. From dogs to cats or rabbits and fish. I have had a range of experience between differing species. I left behind a 14 year old blob and a 6 years skittish lab and I was worried about the younger pup. It was the 14 year old senior that kept Ashley up at night. Ashley kept me posted on the situation, we kept the communication open to make sure Hunter is ok. Things happened but the best way to know how awesome your substitute is, is to experience their problem solving ability. Ashley got everything under control. About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I make sure to respect the needs of each animal that I am around and only interact with them in ways that they’re comfortable with. I also have experience training dogs and would love to help with that if you’d like. I work from home most days so I have very flexible hours! :) I am a Neuroscience PhD student and can do pretty much all of my work remotely. I am very flexible with hours and will be able to give your pet as much attention as they need ! I can help however you need- I’d be happy to stay overnight if your pet needs it, though I can’t stay 24/7 since I have my own cat to take care of at home. Mya was great! She’s very professional, on time, confirmed dates and time to meet and the animals loved her. When we arrived back home the dogs were excited to see us but were obviously well taken care of. I would absolutely book her to house sit for us again.
Marissa watched our two dogs and 8 frogs for our wedding weekend. This was our first time leaving them with a stranger, so we were a little nervous. The dogs can be a little ornery, one of them takes daily meds, and not many people have experience with frogs. We set up a meet and greet and several day time visits leading up to the weekend so everyone could get to know each other. By the time we left them, I was confident Marissa could handle both the dogs and the frogs. Everything went smoothly!

Xitlalli and her boyfriend were absolute gems and easily among the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. After a terrible experience with a previous sitter that left us genuinely anxious about leaving our dog again, we were pretty nervous. We had also recently lost our second dog to cancer, so leaving our other dog in someone else’s care for over a week was especially hard for us. Thankfully, our meet and greet with Xitlalli and her boyfriend went incredibly well, and we immediately felt comfortable with them. They bonded with him right away and treated him like he was their own. Throughout our trip, they went above and beyond, walking him twice a day, every day, keeping him on his normal routine, and giving him so much love and attention. Their daily updates and photos of our sweet boy gave us so much peace of mind and made being away from him much easier. What meant the most to us though was how thoughtful they were beyond just caring for our dog. When we came home, they had left us flowers and the sweetest card. After everything we had recently been through, that gesture honestly meant so much to us. It really showed us that they care about the people behind the pets they look after too, and that’s something we’ll never forget. They also took wonderful care of our home and left everything spotless. Xitlalli and her boyfriend are kind, reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring people who clearly love animals. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and will absolutely book with them again. We know we can completely trust them with both our dog and our home. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters and would recommend them without hesitation!
Kelly was so great with our fur baby, Nova! Nova is a pretty laid back girl, but since this was our first time using a pet sitting service instead of relying on friends or family, I was a little nervous and cautious about a few things... Kelly completely put my mind at ease and was so kind, accommodating, and easygoing about everything I asked for Novie! She stayed at our house with Nova and made sure she was happy, comfortable, and had plenty of company while we were away! (: She also sent us photos and video updates, which helped me feel so much more relaxed (it was wonderful seeing our girl being her happy, usual self)! Jenna did an excellent job caring for our Great Pyr and an elderly cat with special needs while we were away. She even dealt with an escaped chicken and an ant problem and the house was left better than she found it. We appreciated how communicative she was and felt like our animals were well taken care of.
Jenny is an outstanding pet sitter! She housesat and watched our dog for a week and she made it so easy for us to relax knowing she holding down the fort at home. She sent us detailed daily messages and photos of our pup and she seemed to get our reactive dog and what she needed right away. She took her on nice long walks and we felt confident in her ability to handle the pulling and barking that usually ensues. Jenny was also so great about remembering every little detail about caring for the house and confirmed with us when packages were brought it, garbage cans taken out to the street, etc. Most of all, she seemed to really gain the trust of our dog and we could see from the pictures and videos that she sent that our dog not only became comfortable with Jenny, she seemed to be having fun, looking happy and cuddling up with her new bud. We really could not have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, highly competent, communicative sitter.
Rachel's open communication was great. She was upfront with her schedule. There was a misunderstanding due to a booking error in my part, but she remained open to adjusting the booking and doing a meet and greet. I have one senior dog that requires medication and kidney diet. Rachel was able to keep meds and feeding up for us during a trip.
Liz communicated daily about Anika’s routines. She followed the directions for both dog and house care to the “T”. She touched base about her arrival and departure at the beginning and ending of her stay, making the transition for Anika seamless. I certainly would recommend Liz for anyone who needs a person to stay in their home to care for pets!
This is my second time booking with XingYuan and I am very pleased with the care she gave to Koko. She sent me pictures and communicated consistently throughout the pet sitting which was very reassuring given that it was Koko’s first time away from family for several days :)
Mira watched our energetic rottweiler and cats for 2 weeks and did great. She is very sweet and gave me the confidence to leave my house and all my animals, despite having some negative pet sitter experiences in the past.
