About: My entire life, my family has had at least two dogs, so I'm very well versed and familiar with the care and attention that a variety of different dog breeds need to get. In addition, I have two kittens of my own, who are extremely well cared for. Animals are my passion in life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I can guarantee your fur babies will get all of the love, attention, and care in the world while I'm watching them. I'm a student and work part-time, so I'm busy but have a schedule that easily allows me to check in on your pets as-needed! I can check in frequently, spend hours with your pets, and sleep over if preferred. How I care for your pets depends on your personal instructions, boundaries, and expectations, and the specific needs of your pet, if applicable. I always closely follow all instructions and requests that I receive, so that I can best make your pet(s) comfortable and within their usual routines, and to best respect your home.

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life, as well as all sorts of other animals. I watch my sisters dogs on a weekly basis, and love to help others! I’m a fan of medium to large dogs, and I’m on time, with reliable transportation. I will treat your fur-baby with the same amount of love that I do mine! I’m currently taking a break from regular work, looking to babysit and pet sit for a few months to bring some joy into my life! I’m available weekdays anytime, and Sundays from 1pm into the night. Some Saturdays, can be flexible. I keep my home clean and well maintained. I open feed my own cats, and spend time with them whenever possible. I like to clean my littler boxes every day, and when I had a dog of my own, I would walk her 4-5 times a day, and play with her all the time. I love training, and engaging with animals. I’m happy to care for your pets however you see fit, as long as it includes lots of love!

About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. I take my puppy on long walks at the Davis Arboretum and have a dog park where I live which ensures they are getting their exercise and playtime. My apartment is clean for health safety. If I am staying at the owner’s home, I will apply the owner’s directions.

About: Growing up, my family fostered sick kittens and raised rats. Now, I love working with critters of all sorts, and I'd love to get to know yours. I offer a flat rate with no upcharge for additional animals or medical needs. As a PhD student, my schedule is especially flexible over the summer. I am usually in Sacramento a few days per week and Davis otherwise, but I'm happy to work with your schedule. With reliable wifi, I'm happy to work from your home to accommodate your pet's schedule. About: I’ve been caring for pets and homes for more than 25 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and have spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and through TrustedHousesitters. Earlier in my career, I worked at a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care. Mya was great! She’s very professional, on time, confirmed dates and time to meet and the animals loved her. When we arrived back home the dogs were excited to see us but were obviously well taken care of. I would absolutely book her to house sit for us again.
Marissa watched our two dogs and 8 frogs for our wedding weekend. This was our first time leaving them with a stranger, so we were a little nervous. The dogs can be a little ornery, one of them takes daily meds, and not many people have experience with frogs. We set up a meet and greet and several day time visits leading up to the weekend so everyone could get to know each other. By the time we left them, I was confident Marissa could handle both the dogs and the frogs. Everything went smoothly!
Ly was wonderful with Mochi! 🤍 She took such great care of him, accommodated his schedule, and even went the extra mile to introduce a new game to play with him. We really appreciate all the love, attention, and care she gave him. Mochi seemed happy to spend time with her, which gave us so much peace of mind. Xitlalli and her boyfriend were absolute gems and easily among the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. After a terrible experience with a previous sitter that left us genuinely anxious about leaving our dog again, we were pretty nervous. We had also recently lost our second dog to cancer, so leaving our other dog in someone else’s care for over a week was especially hard for us. Thankfully, our meet and greet with Xitlalli and her boyfriend went incredibly well, and we immediately felt comfortable with them. They bonded with him right away and treated him like he was their own. Throughout our trip, they went above and beyond, walking him twice a day, every day, keeping him on his normal routine, and giving him so much love and attention. Their daily updates and photos of our sweet boy gave us so much peace of mind and made being away from him much easier. What meant the most to us though was how thoughtful they were beyond just caring for our dog. When we came home, they had left us flowers and the sweetest card. After everything we had recently been through, that gesture honestly meant so much to us. It really showed us that they care about the people behind the pets they look after too, and that’s something we’ll never forget. They also took wonderful care of our home and left everything spotless. Xitlalli and her boyfriend are kind, reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring people who clearly love animals. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and will absolutely book with them again. We know we can completely trust them with both our dog and our home. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters and would recommend them without hesitation!
Kelly was so great with our fur baby, Nova! Nova is a pretty laid back girl, but since this was our first time using a pet sitting service instead of relying on friends or family, I was a little nervous and cautious about a few things... Kelly completely put my mind at ease and was so kind, accommodating, and easygoing about everything I asked for Novie! She stayed at our house with Nova and made sure she was happy, comfortable, and had plenty of company while we were away! (: She also sent us photos and video updates, which helped me feel so much more relaxed (it was wonderful seeing our girl being her happy, usual self)! I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for someone who will make sure both you and your pet have a great experience! (Knowing that she is also in a veterinary program gave me additional peace of mind because Nova sometimes has tummy troubles) I felt confident that if anything happened, Kelly would know how to help and make sure our girl had whatever she needed! Jenna did an excellent job caring for our Great Pyr and an elderly cat with special needs while we were away. She even dealt with an escaped chicken and an ant problem and the house was left better than she found it. We appreciated how communicative she was and felt like our animals were well taken care of.
Jenny is an outstanding pet sitter! She housesat and watched our dog for a week and she made it so easy for us to relax knowing she holding down the fort at home. She sent us detailed daily messages and photos of our pup and she seemed to get our reactive dog and what she needed right away. She took her on nice long walks and we felt confident in her ability to handle the pulling and barking that usually ensues. Jenny was also so great about remembering every little detail about caring for the house and confirmed with us when packages were brought it, garbage cans taken out to the street, etc. Most of all, she seemed to really gain the trust of our dog and we could see from the pictures and videos that she sent that our dog not only became comfortable with Jenny, she seemed to be having fun, looking happy and cuddling up with her new bud. We really could not have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, highly competent, communicative sitter.
Rachel's open communication was great. She was upfront with her schedule. There was a misunderstanding due to a booking error in my part, but she remained open to adjusting the booking and doing a meet and greet. I have one senior dog that requires medication and kidney diet. Rachel was able to keep meds and feeding up for us during a trip.
Liz communicated daily about Anika’s routines. She followed the directions for both dog and house care to the “T”. She touched base about her arrival and departure at the beginning and ending of her stay, making the transition for Anika seamless. I certainly would recommend Liz for anyone who needs a person to stay in their home to care for pets!
This is my second time booking with XingYuan and I am very pleased with the care she gave to Koko. She sent me pictures and communicated consistently throughout the pet sitting which was very reassuring given that it was Koko’s first time away from family for several days :)
Mira watched our energetic rottweiler and cats for 2 weeks and did great. She is very sweet and gave me the confidence to leave my house and all my animals, despite having some negative pet sitter experiences in the past. She was quick to respond to my questions, easy to communicate with and asked smart questions. When our senior cat had several urinary accidents in the house, she notified me right away and dealt with it. The house looked tidy and cared for when I arrived home and all my animals were happy.
