About: I am a owner of two maltese dogs and understand the hard work and care necessary for keeping a pet. I am a trusted and involved pet sitter in my family/friend circle. From Lovebirds to active Huskies, I have looked after them all! The key characteristics that I am qualified with are patience, attentiveness, communication, and attention to detail. Additionally, I am a second year Animal Science major at UC Davis. Many of my courses involve hands-on animal handling and husbandry knowledge. I understand that pets are family, and it's essential they feel comfortable and secure in their environment. I work my schedule around classes each quarter. During this Fall quarter I am primarily available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 4:00pm. I am also available for mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am - 12pm. Weekends I am flexible and open! My apartment is a peaceful, pet-friendly haven! We’re right next to green spaces and the arboretum, making it ideal for long, relaxing walks. Although I share the space with three roommates, we are all dog lovers who maintain a quiet, calm lifestyle. For in-home pet sitting I aim to keep your pet relaxed in their familiar space. I maintain a low-key routine, ensuring your home stays quiet and your pet receives dedicated attention, regular outdoor exercise, and consistent care. About: I absolutely love all pets! I spent this past summer volunteering as a dog socializer and walker at Pets Lifeline Animal Shelter. I am comfortable around all dogs, all energy levels, I understand their body language, and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. I will dedicate my time to loving them and prioritizing your routine. I also have a pup of my own, a pug, who loves to get out of the house and is always curious! As a UC Davis student, I plan my schedule carefully to make time for pet care throughout the week. I have a fixed class schedule during the day, but I am available outside of class hours for pet care services. I clearly communicate my availability in advance so owners know exactly when I can provide care and support. About: I’m a pet owner myself, so I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I’m patient and really pay attention to each pet’s personality and routine. Whether they’re super playful, shy, cuddly, or prefer their own space, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, litter box cleaning, and lots of cuddles if they want them! I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m available anytime and any day during the summer. I have a flexible schedule, so I can spend plenty of time caring for your pets. For morning visits, please let me know in advance! Pet’s safety and emotions are my top priority. In a client’s home, I will follow the pet’s usual routine to keep them comfortable, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I clean up after them, make sure they have fresh water, and provide plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of the home space and always leave it as I found it. If pets are staying with me, they’ll have a safe, clean, and calm environment where they can relax, play, and feel comfortable.

About: I love animals of all types! My first pet sitting experience was at the age of 10 with a very sweet German Shephard, Storm. Over the years I've connected with many a canine, feline, and on occasion, equine family members. It's an honor to be trusted by you, and more importantly your four legged companion to care for them while you're away. I'm comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and levels of energy. You'll see many pictures of me and my late pup Jude. I had the pleasure of being his parent all 15years he roamed this earth. From potty training, behavior training, grooming and senior care. I've done it all. I work part time in Davis and am home around supper time. On workdays I am able to walk/spend time with your furry companion in the mornings and evenings. I'm available on my days off & the weekends for extended visits or walks. In the evening I'm able to do the same. I live in a small apartment that does not allow cats or dogs. If I am boarding your animals overnight, it will need to be in your home. Whatever accommodations your home has for your pet, I'll happily utilize them to ensure their comfort.

About: I love animals very much and as a result, have much experience with them. I had a dog for 10 years that I fully trained from the age of 8 weeks, so I am very comfortable with puppies. Additionally, I have dog-sat senior dogs many times, for multiple days. I am a student at UC Davis currently, with class only a couple of times per day. I have a car as well so I am easily able to visit your pet multiple times throughout the day. I have no classes on Fridays or the weekends so I am usually fully free on those days. How you and your dog's usual schedule is, is what I will try my best to replicate for your pup. For example, if the dog needs to be fed or let out at a certain time, I will make sure it happens.

About: I've had multiple dogs all my life (all shelter rescues of all sizes and temperaments) and cared for them up into their senior years. From unique feeding routines to walks/runs in the early morning, to fetch, tug-of-war, midday potty breaks, and cuddles, I've done it all! I've also raised and fostered several litters of rescue kittens to be adopted, from bottlefeeding to litterbox training and handling practice. I am well learned in cleaning litterboxes, prepping midday snacks, and providing love and attention for kitties of all ages. I provide runs and walks for various dogs several days a week and house-sit on occasion during the summer. I also drop in to play with, feed, or entertain dogs whose families are away for long periods of time during the day. Because each pet is unique, I ensure clear communication of expectations from the pet's family prior to any walking or sitting. I always carefully monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or injury and am prepared to take action in the event of emergencies. I maintain regular communication with pet families when they're out of town (send pictures and updates of their pets) and organize my weekly walking schedule frequently to ensure convenience for both me and the client. As someone with pets and a love for animals, I hold myself to a high standard to make sure every animal is comfortable and thriving with any walk, run, or visit.

About: Hi! My name is Tenaya! I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks. About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Now a little bit about me and the care I provide for my clients. I come from a long line of dog lovers. I was raised with pups in the home, and they were a beloved part of our family. Like myself, many family members are in the business of caring for pups in one way or another. I have been professionally taking care of pups on a full-time basis since I retired from teaching in 2020. I have worked with many breeds and specialize in small to medium dogs. I have worked with many pups who are elderly, have anxiety or need medication. Many of my clients are regulars and their pups’ become friends and have fun socializing here. Occasionally, some of my clients prefer to keep their pups separated, particularly if they are elderly, anxious and not social. I have plenty of space and can create secure sections, each with quiet den areas where pups can have their space, yet still be near me and feel safe. In addition, I use soft music to help calm and sooth pups throughout the day. For active dogs that love to play I have a long corridor which is great for indoor fetch! I also have a beautiful path behind my home where we go for long walks. The park is only a short ten-minute walk and I utilize it often. Sometimes I take my pups out for a field trip, and we get a “pup cup” at Starbucks and/or walk around the UCD Arboretum. Safety is my first priority! So, all dogs must be up to date with all their immunizations and flea/tic treatments! If you have any questions, please feel free to text me. I work/school from home so I have plenty of time to walk, play and snuggle. Sometimes we do doggy field trips. We get pup cups and then go to the arboretum or parks. I work with clients to maintain routnines and make our guests feel safe and at home. Dogs are out and about but are crated during transition times or when I need to run out to the store to keep them safe. We take plenty of pics and videos. Communication is key.
