“Sydney showed up at 8am before we left for our day to Disneyland. We acquainted her with our two dogs and they took to her right away.. Sydney really has a way with dogs. They both loved her so much, immediately. Our dog situation isn’t easy. We have a four year-old American bully and a one year-old very energetic pitbull who’s so much fun however, for the time being we’re keeping both dogs separate and Sydney kept both of our dogs, safe & clean, and even though Henny had an accident, Sydney cleaned up everything & was even able to feed her and get her back in her crate safe safely. About: I have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was born. Now, I have worked as a vet assistant for 6 years in both general practice and oncology. I have helped with emergencies for all kinds of breeds and done overnight care several times. I also work and volunteer at shelters consistently so I know how to deal with animal stress. I have never met an animal I didn't love no matter its personality and demeanor so I know they are in good hands. I am a college student but have gaps in my day to go back to my apartment and take them out. I would never leave a pet at home for more than 2 hours and live with just my fiance and I also well equipped in pet care, but I will be doing the caregiving. I love every furry friend and it would be a joy rather than a chore to help care for each pet. I am well versed in medication administration, feeding, playtime, small training activities, and more. Depending on the breed or species, I would ensure I am thorough with each pets need and go from there whether thats exercise and play or just chilling on the couch.

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life, as well as all sorts of other animals. I watch my sisters dogs on a weekly basis, and love to help others! I’m a fan of medium to large dogs, and I’m on time, with reliable transportation. I will treat your fur-baby with the same amount of love that I do mine! I’m currently taking a break from regular work, looking to babysit and pet sit for a few months to bring some joy into my life! I’m available weekdays anytime, and Sundays from 1pm into the night. Some Saturdays, can be flexible. I keep my home clean and well maintained. I open feed my own cats, and spend time with them whenever possible. I like to clean my littler boxes every day, and when I had a dog of my own, I would walk her 4-5 times a day, and play with her all the time. I love training, and engaging with animals. I’m happy to care for your pets however you see fit, as long as it includes lots of love!

About: I have been caring for animals for 15 years of my life. From dogs to cats or rabbits and fish. I have had a range of experience between differing species. I grew up caring for 2 Chihuahuas, 1 Siberian Husky, 1 Bull Mastiff and 8 cats. Whether it's playtime, long walks or evening cuddles I make sure each pet feels at home with me. I have 3 days off during the week when my 10 year old is at school. The other week days I work in the early morning and am available for the rest of the day. Weekends I am available in the morning. So I have a bit of free time to care for your loved ones. In your home I will feed your pets according to their schedule. Refresh water and food bowls. Let dogs out for bathrooms breaks either on a walk or in backyard per your instructions. Provide stimulation for your animals with playtime and walks around the neighborhood.

About: I have had animals in my household since I was a baby. I got my first dog in 3rd grade and have cared for her until I left for college. I have cared for my families and neighbors dogs and cats while they are away at vacation. I have just graduated with my bachelors in Animal Science at the University of California in Davis. I have cared for newborn puppies and practiced physical exams on many animals. I have the ability to bathe, feed, walk, train, and trim dog’s nails. I’ve worked at 2 animal hospitals one in Davis and here in Palm Springs! I am a full time vet assistant at PSAH however with my time gaps I’d be more than available to take your dog outside to use the restroom and make sure to feed them. I would be happy to keep them company while I do my studies. I have a fenced and large backyard so that your fur babies have plenty of space to run safely. If there is a crate provided in the clients home I will use it as necessary and make sure there are no open doors for them to run out.

In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve.
