About: I currently work for VipPet care as a veterinary clinic assistant and have experience working in doggy daycare environments. I also volunteer at the shelters in Sacramento and have been volunteering at other shelters for the past 5 years. I have also taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs (all ages), cats, turtles, hamsters, fish, and rabbits. I work as a vet assistant three times a week, so animals are part of my daily routine. This means I have plenty of time during the week to plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and any special needs to make sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I make sure to follow all instructions provided by the pet parent, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication, and preferred routines. I will take time to build trust with each pet, whether it’s through gentle play, regular walks, or just keeping them company. I maintain a clean, calm environment and give each pet plenty of attention, love, and care. Communication is also important to me, I will provide updates and photos so pet parents feel reassured while they’re away. Working in the vet field has given me experience giving oral and injectable medications if needed as well.

About: I’ve taken care of several different dogs. I am pretty understanding and flexible when it comes to scheduling. Just know I will be treating your pets like they are my own. I currently have a part time job, so I would be available to come over either in the morning before work which might start around 10, I would also be able to come by after work as well. During the weekends I would be free all day. I would prefer to care for the clients pet at their house, and I would be fully compliant with the way the client would like me to care for their pet at their house.

About: I have been taking care of my two dogs since I was 15 years old, a small Yorkshire poodle and a medium-sized schnauzer mix. Neighbors in my hometown of Los Angeles have also relied on me to care for their dogs and cats when they are away for holiday vacations. My experience includes taking care of a 16-year-old dog named Pasha for several days, as well as caring for multiple cats in different households. This included looking after a pair of cats in one home and administering anxiety medication to another cat over a five-day period. I am a student at UC Davis and have a flexible schedule between classes and extracurricular activities, which allows me to spend plenty of time caring for pets. I am available throughout the day for walks, feeding, and check-ins, and I am also happy to help after classes, including longer visits or overnight stays if needed. I always ask clients for a list of responsibilities, so I know exactly what their pets need. I make sure to follow feeding schedules, spend time playing with and giving attention to the pets, and provide any care they require. I’m also happy to help keep the home tidy, like sweeping up leftover kitty litter, to make things easier for the owners.

About: By working with and around large and small domestic animals for the past 5 years, I have gained the confidence in reading an animal’s body language and behaving in ways they can be comfortable with me. I am a big fan of enrichment, so I am all for anything you’re willing to try for your pet that can get their minds stimulated! I’m currently working full time at a farm animal sanctuary and have the flexibility to walk or drop in on your pup between 6a-9a and between 8p-11p. I have a 1bed apartment and a friendly golden that is trained to be around reactive dogs. I love to visit nearby parks and green belts, so rest assured your pet will have the sniff of a lifetime!

About: When I was 9, I got my first dog, and that is how I started to be interested in being a vet and take care of dogs. I’m a UCD Animal Science student. My class schedule is not very busy other than Thursdays for this quarter, so I will be home most of the time other than that. I have 3 roommates (2 are also Animal Science students) who also loves animals and knows how to take care of them and have experiences with pets. There will usually be at least 1-2 person at home always. We have plenty of space for your pet to run around in the house, and a yard which we can be taking the dog out for potty breaks.

About: I've pet-sat for friends and neighbors since I was 12. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, dietary restrictions, and health complications. I have owned all types of pets from small hamsters and mice, to turtles and fish, rabbits, and dogs. I have extended gaps in between work projects and am available to walk and play with your pets, or just hang out at home with them!
