“Matthew provided excellent service for our dog the two days I needed support. He offered a public meet and greet prior to his initial services and paid close attention to my dogs needs. Matthew was prepared with treats and carried water and a bowl for my dog during the walks. He even went a few minutes past the walk to ensure our dog could keep a slow pace towards the end. I’m very appreciative of Matthew’s last minute support and hope I can book with him again in the future.”

“Jenna was absolutely amazing! She did a great job of keeping us up to date on what was going on with our dog while we were away. This included a detailed summary of the stay, including many pictures. She also let us know when the weather got too hot and the walking time needed to be adjusted. I really appreciated her attention to detail.”

About: Hello, I have always been an animal lover since visiting my Grandma's farm as a kid. My first job for that I held for 4 years in High School was at a Vet hospital, where I fed, cleaned, walked, cared for and groomed the boarding dogs and cats. As an adult, I have loved animal watching/walking for friends and family. As a volunteer, I fed and cleaned the farm animals at a non-profit ranch for autistic children. I work full time in the medical field and enjoy being active so I am excited to get outside for walks and visit your pets on my days off. I am no able to own pets where I live, so I would love to be able to care for yours. Thank You, Megan I am available multiple days a week to walk and drop-in care for pets. My work schedule changes each week but I am able to scheduled services a week in advance. I would care for a pet at a client's home. I do not have a yard but would be happy to travel to the pet's home to socialize and make sure that they are feeling safe and comfortable.
About: When I was 9, I got my first dog, and that is how I started to be interested in being a vet and take care of dogs. I’m a UCD Animal Science student. My class schedule is not very busy other than Thursdays for this quarter, so I will be home most of the time other than that. I have 3 roommates (2 are also Animal Science students) who also loves animals and knows how to take care of them and have experiences with pets. There will usually be at least 1-2 person at home always. We have plenty of space for your pet to run around in the house, and a yard which we can be taking the dog out for potty breaks.
About: I've had dogs since I was 5, and cared for cats, rodents, reptiles, chickens and fish. I can give animals medication in pill form and spend lots of time loving on your pet. I'm currently somewhat free, and I figured I'd add this to get some exercise in. I love spending time with animals, I really don't get to do it enough. I have a good memory and I'm good at following instructions. Dog and cat body language is familiar to me, and I'll make sure your animal is always comfortable.

About: I am currently a PhD and most of time is spent reading and writing. I have a very flexible schedule. I took a break from Rover over the summer because I traveled extensively for my research so there wasn’t much flexibility in my schedule. If you live over 15 miles away from my home, there will be a surcharge of $5 per day to accommodate for gas. I have cared for and grown up with large breeds of dogs, as well as breeds known to be aggressive. I was 18 when I first dog sat professionally, so I have ten years of experience. There has never been a point in my life where I haven’t owned a dog and I have worked with several breeds. I’ll gladly walk, play with, brush and love your dog. I’m also glad to work with dogs who may be more afraid of strangers and take the time with you, the owner, to build a relationship with your dog. Then once you’re comfortable, you can leave your dog alone in my care. I really enjoy bonding with more timid dogs. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Animal Biology and am now a PhD student at UC Davis studying entomology. I’m more than happy to stay in your home and care for your dog (and any other animals or plants you may have ) while you are gone, and I will make the necessary changes to my schedule to make sure your dog is taken outside every four to six hours. I’m also extremely comfortable working with reptiles, cats, horses and some other farm/livestock animals; so I can house sit any other pets you may have. Please contact me with if you’re interested in me as a sitter or walker, or with any questions or concerns! I am PhD student at UC Davis and I make my own schedule. I no longer take courses, but I am a teaching assistant. My schedule is generally very flexible. Sittings that are over 15 miles from house will have a $5 surcharge per day to compensate for gas. I care for pets by paying very close to their body language and other behaviors which I have significant experience with. By doing so, I am able to meet your pets needs while keeping them comfortable. I also strictly adhere to the routine set my the owner to keep your pet as relaxed as possible. I will also speak with owners regarding a pet’s walking behavior/preferences and their behavior around other animals before taking the pet outside of the home. If a owner requests that I take their dog to the dog park, I will also pay very close attention to your dog’s behavior as well as the behavior of other dog’s at the park. I will do everything to the best of my ability to keep you pet safe.

I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! About: I have been taking care of my two dogs since I was 15 years old, a small Yorkshire poodle and a medium-sized schnauzer mix. Neighbors in my hometown of Los Angeles have also relied on me to care for their dogs and cats when they are away for holiday vacations. My experience includes taking care of a 16-year-old dog named Pasha for several days, as well as caring for multiple cats in different households. This included looking after a pair of cats in one home and administering anxiety medication to another cat over a five-day period. I am a student at UC Davis and have a flexible schedule between classes and extracurricular activities, which allows me to spend plenty of time caring for pets. I am available throughout the day for walks, feeding, and check-ins, and I am also happy to help after classes, including longer visits or overnight stays if needed. I always ask clients for a list of responsibilities, so I know exactly what their pets need. I make sure to follow feeding schedules, spend time playing with and giving attention to the pets, and provide any care they require. I’m also happy to help keep the home tidy, like sweeping up leftover kitty litter, to make things easier for the owners.

About: Hi furry babe parents, I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid — I grew up with 2 cats and dogs, so understanding animal behavior has always come naturally to me. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home, which means I can offer full-time companionship and stay attentive to your pet’s needs throughout the day. Whether it’s a senior pet who needs patience and a slower pace, or a playful pup who needs gentle engagement and stimulation, I’m great at reading their body language and adjusting accordingly. I believe in respecting each pet’s personality and preferences — whether that means active playtime or simply being a calm presence nearby. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their humans are away💕 I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to give your pup the attention, playtime, and care they need throughout the day. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. Here’s what a typical day looks like: In the morning, I take them out for a nice walk right after I wake up — usually to the park where they can get some exercise and sniff around. After we get back, it’s breakfast time and a bit of rest. In the afternoon, I usually take a break from work to play games with them — whether it’s fetch indoors or a quick outing if the weather allows (though it’s been pretty hot lately, so I always make sure it’s safe and comfortable). In the early evening, around 7 or 8 when it cools down, we go out again for another walk or potty break. After that, it’s time for dinner and winding down for the night. I always make sure they’re well-exercised, well-fed, and feeling loved before bedtime. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I live in a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a large living room, which allows me to accommodate pets in various ways based on their needs. If a dog requires a crate, I can easily set one up in either a bedroom or the living room. If they prefer not to be crated, they have the freedom to roam throughout the entire apartment safely. I ensure the space is clean, secure, and pet-friendly at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines and environment, following any specific instructions they provide to maintain consistency and comfort for the pet. Special accommodations can also be made for pets with unique needs. I’m happy to provide a quiet, low-stimulation space for shy cats or anxious animals, extra comfort and support for senior dogs, or a more active and engaging environment for energetic puppies. I tailor my care based on each pet’s personality and preferences to help them feel relaxed and at home.
