Justin C.

“Justin was amazing and the dogs were in good hands. First time using Rover and Justin did exactly what we needed help with. I’m very happy with how well our dogs were treated and how comfortable they were with him. Highly recommended.”

Nora S.
“Nora is a very trustworthy and compassionate individual. When it comes to working, she tends to do whatever it takes to make sure she gets the full job done. She tends not to find ways out of a commitment once she has already committed. I’ve seen her interact with her family dog, Kota, and she always lets him cuddle up!”

Eleanor P.

“This is the second time I’ve booked with Eleanor and she takes such good care of my animals! She always gives a detailed message about each visit and how they’re doing which is very nice. She always gives them lots of love and attention and goes above and beyond for them! Thank you again Eleanor!!”

April M.

“April was great, she was patient and sweet to Petunia and she was also responsive and attentive regarding daily communication with me. I will definitely work with April again in the future and I can’t recommend her enough.”

Esmerilda R.

“Esmerilda is an absolutely fantastic person and cares immensely for our dog. She has been our weekly dog walker for a little over 6 months--Our dog is a rescue and was quite difficult in the beginning, but Esmerilda has done a lot to help train and rehabilitate her. She also has done house sitting for us. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs.”

Miranda W.
“Miranda is great with animals! My cat has separation anxiety, so I always worry about her when I go out of town. I had Miranda look after her while I went out of town for a week and she made my cat so much more comfortable and happy! It was a huge relief knowing that my cat was in good hands and wasn't stressing out when I was away. Couldn't have asked for a better petsitter!”

Elaine H.

“Elaine did a great job with walking Anika. She returned from her walk having had a good work-out and Elaine & Anika got to know each other in preparation for a longer time together.”

Kyla L.

“Kyla helped walk my mom's dog (Tova) and our dog (Jasper) while we were on vacation. She was great with both dogs! She walked each dog seperately and provided daily updates and photos. She has a natural rapport with animals and is very accomodating, trustworthy and responsible. I would definitely recommend Kyla's services for any pet owner! We hope to see more of Kyla in the future.”

About: I am currently an Animal Science student at UC Davis and have over 7 years of working with over twenty species of animals including reptiles, amphibians, birds, and both exotic and domestic mammals. I currently work at the UC Davis Campus Veterinary Services and have previously worked at the UCD Veterinary Rehab Center, and San Francisco Zoo in their Animal Resource Center (where I have learned how to clean enclosures, prepare diets, properly handle, and train over twenty species of exotic animals). Last summer I worked as a PetsHotel associate in PetSmart where I was responsible for monitoring Doggy Day Camp with an average of 20 dogs per group, caring for boarding dogs, leading individual sessions with dogs, and caring for boarding cats. Not only do I have extensive first-hand experience with pet care, but I also have research experience involving animal behavior, training in raptor handling, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have two cats of my own and 15 other pets (all insects, reptiles, and amphibians)! I am available on T/W/Thr before 11:30am and after 12:40pm, and M/F/Sat/Sun all day! I have a very flexible schedule so I can dedicate a lot of time to your pets. Safety and trust are two of the most important things to me when caring for pets. For a pet to feel safe, I always take my time when greeting them for the first time, getting down to their level, and not making any sudden sounds or movements that may come across as a threat to the pet. This ensures an initial formation of trust between me and the pet. Following pet parent instructions is also essential and I make sure to be aware of the pet's needs and their preferred routine so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. Additionally, I am a very vigilant person and am always keeping an eye on the pet I am caring for, to ensure their environment is safe and free of any hazards and the pet continues to be healthy and happy.

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals. My aunt had a huge farm in Mississippi and every year she would take me out to take care of all the animals and taught me all about them. She had 12 dogs and every time I was there I learned more about animal care and did everything that was suppose to be done. I recently lived with two cats, a dog, a bunny, and a chameleon. I have always grown up taking care of all my pets and family friends pets. I also used to pet sit my neighbors cats. I am just looking to help anyone out in need of pet care. I am moving forward with school and plan to work with animals as my career. I think this experience will help me a lot along my journey. I am a student part-time so I will have plenty of time to do drop-ins, walks, and house/pet sitting on weekends and most days during the week. I am available to feed, walk, and play with any animal. I will be offering help with any animal care needed but am unable to do it at my own house. It will have to be at the client's home as I do not have the proper yard for animals. I will take care of the client's little loved ones and home like they are my own.

Iryna B.
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for more than 20 years. When I was younger, I rescued abused and neglected dogs back in Ukraine. Since then, I have had cats and dogs in Ukraine until I escaped the war in April 2022. Now that I am in the US, I often take care of the dogs and cats of my host families. I hope to take care of your pets as well! I have a flexible schedule and can work on most days, including weekends and holidays. On weekdays, I may need to step out to drop off and pick up my daughter from school. Every day, I walk, feed and clean up after my host family's two cats and one dog. I will ensure that the client's pets are safe and will be attentive to any special needs. Since I have taken care of many pets before, I know what I need to be aware of. I will also make sure to leave the client's house in the same condition as it was when they have left.

About: Growing up, we were surrounded by animals - dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, frogs, and snakes. During COVID, I slowly began my journey in house sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I've cared for many cats and small to large dogs for long periods. My most extended board was for a month! In the early mornings, I work at a local Starbucks for about 4-6 hours a weekday. Besides this, I have a few classes throughout the day that I take online, so I am mostly home and available to care for your pets as best as I can. I like to go on 20-45 min walks around the nearby park/ greenway during the evening when it is cooler. At my Home: I would make sure the pet(s) feel comfortable in my home and with me but slowly try to gain their trust. As well as making sure they are calm, I will respect their space when first meeting them. In both my home and the clients, I want to be able to communicate any responsibilities and expectations I need to meet as your pet sitter. I am a reliable person overall in my daily life; I like schedules and structure and Making decisions during stressful times. I am always flexible with my time, so I can talk to my pets on walks, play with them, and help maintain their physical lifestyle. Besides this, I always want anyone and everyone to have a safe and welcoming environment around me, even animals. So my priority is ensuring they feel safe and comfortable in trusting me, which means for both the owner and their pets.

“One of the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to dogs. Or any other animal to be honest. Is caring and will always put the animal’s needs, comfort and safety first. The first person I go to when I need help with my dogs.”

Samantha Y.
“Sammie has been our dog sitter for 8yrs. She is warm and gentle and very attentive to our fur baby's needs. Our pup runs into her home when we visit. Highly recommended!”

Orry B.
“Orry is the BEST petsitter! He has taken care of my family’s animals for years now, and we couldn’t be happier with his kindness toward them, his flexibility, and his ability to care for our senior dog and young kitten.”

Amy L.

“Amy was great!”

Karen M.
“Karen is an animal lover, it shows in her treatment of dogs and all animals. She volunteers with Guide Dogs of America and various organizations to help animals, including the Living Desert. Her attention to dogs and care for their well being goes above and beyond, as she is always looking for what's in the best interest of the pet. I couldn't recommend her enough. She is truly an animal Samaritan and anyone would be lucky to have their pet in her care.”

Susanne M.
“Susanne provides attentive, kind care for my dog. Respect to my requests, and I have full confidence in her services. Highly recommend. She loves dogs!”

About: I've taken care of small and medium size dogs. Have lots of experience of dog sitting even before adopting my own dog. I'm currently with one frenchie bulldog, and because of this specific breed having quite a lot of genetic problems, I naturally began to have interests in dog health. I'm pretty flexible with schedule. I'm always available except evening times on monday and wednesday. Also available on weekends. And always available with dog walking, doggy day care, and drop-in visits. I wouldn't do house sitting and boarding in my apartment since I think it might not be enough space for dogs from medium to large size. For doggy day care and drop-in visits, I will make sure the boundary of the house, rules, and even dog's allergies with my clients.
