“I have a tendency of owning animals that have severe anxiety and attachment issues (mostly shelter beasts), and when going out of town for any period of time, it’s imperative for me to find someone who can not only deal with these types of issues, but also know how to handle my pets when they’re experiencing this. For example, Colleen watched my lovely rotty/german Shepard/doperman mix when I went out of town. Roxy has sever anxiety and is a pretty big doggo. Colleen was able to handle her for an extended period of time while I was out of town with zero problems. Please note that Roxy had some wildly bad coping mechanisms, yet was very comfortable with Colleen from the start. Colleen followed all care directions for Roxy, feeding and medication wise with no issue. I would ALWAYS recommend Colleen, whether it be for a big dog like mine or a little house cat. 100% would recommend all day every day.”

About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to welcome any pets in my house. I have fur babies of my own that I do not wish to upset their home life.

About: My deep love for animals began at a young age, as my family and I fostered many different kinds of animals! I was a dedicated volunteer for SPCA for many years and have always had some kind of pet in my household! I am new to Rover but willing to learn everything there is about the app and your pet! I can easily adapt my routine to your pets needs. :) I have my own pup named Reus who is an 8 year old Pug! I love taking him out on adventures and walks.
