About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life, as well as all sorts of other animals. I watch my sisters dogs on a weekly basis, and love to help others! I’m a fan of medium to large dogs, and I’m on time, with reliable transportation. I will treat your fur-baby with the same amount of love that I do mine! I’m currently taking a break from regular work, looking to babysit and pet sit for a few months to bring some joy into my life! I’m available weekdays anytime, and Sundays from 1pm into the night. Some Saturdays, can be flexible. I keep my home clean and well maintained. I open feed my own cats, and spend time with them whenever possible. I like to clean my littler boxes every day, and when I had a dog of my own, I would walk her 4-5 times a day, and play with her all the time. I love training, and engaging with animals. I’m happy to care for your pets however you see fit, as long as it includes lots of love!

About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I’m willing to care for a wide range of animals, even new to myself, with direction! I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I have a fenced patio, luckily there are a few pet friendly parks that surround me. I follow any instructions given for your pet care to a T since no one knows your pet like you do. I have housemates who are just as loving to any animal brought in.

About: Hi! We are Camille and Daihong, a husband and wife team who would love to welcome your pup into our little family! I grew up with a dog and have been around dogs for most of my life, while Daihong became a first time dog dad when we got our Mia. Now he might be just as obsessed with dogs as I am, if not more! 😂 We are currently raising Mia our super sweet doodle, and she absolutely loves people and other dogs. She is playful, social, and always excited to make a new friend, so your pup will have a built in buddy during their stay! As dog parents ourselves, we know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your baby with someone else. We will treat your dog like one of our own with lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, walks, and probably a little extra spoiling. ❤️ We are also happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and send plenty of pictures and updates so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and having a great time. Our goal is for your dog to feel like they are having a little vacation of their own while you are away! 🐶🏡 I work from home Monday through Wednesday, and Daihong works from home full time, so someone will always be home with your pup! Our days already revolve around caring for Mia, so walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention are a normal part of our daily routine. We have lots of flexibility and are happy to accommodate your dog’s usual schedule as much as possible. We live in an apartment, so we are best suited for small to medium sized dogs who are comfortable in an apartment environment. We take Mia out regularly throughout the day for walks and potty breaks, and there is a dog park right across the street that we love taking her to for some extra exercise and playtime. Mia is very friendly and loves both people and other dogs, so your pup will have a built in buddy during their stay! Since Daihong works from home full time, someone is usually around to keep an eye on the pups and give them plenty of attention. We are also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, sleeping, and crate routine so they can feel as comfortable and at home as possible. ❤️

“We rarely need a safe place for Skye, our Husky mix. As long as Kathleen is available she will always be our first choice. This is based on how willing Skye is to stay with Kathleen, and how comfortable and happy she seems for the next day or so after a stay. Skye is a calmer, high energy pup afterwards.”

“April was so kind, supportive, and understanding of my special senior!!! For context, my 14 year old dog was currently undergoing a med change due to doggy dementia so he needed extra supervision while we navigated this process. With the med change also came a lot of changes to his temperament/behavior. Despite being a super anxious, pretty reactive dog with a history of trauma (very slow to warm to strangers), April was so patient and empathetic to our situation and really went above and beyond to help us and our dog feel as comfortable as possible. I was happy to learn that my dog was even following her around a bit during his stay (which he doesn't even do with people he's met before)! I was so relieved when she sent her detailed text updates (with adorable doggy pics) and loved how proactive & transparent she was about making his next stay even more accomodating. We are definitely looking forward to booking with her again, 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I am a retired teacher, ready to just enjoy animals. Our very long lived pets have include kitties and dogs, including large breeds, like Rottweilers am I current fur baby Bella, who is a Yorkshire terrier.Spot the old gentleman lived for 20 years. He was under constant medical care in 2020 when he couldn’t get to the vet. He was medicated and he receives subcutaneous fluids from me. I also performed injections for his medicine once a day and his pill pills twice a day. I am available most days of the week so if I show that I’m off, it’s probably for a short doctor’s appointment or errand that I have. Let me know. I’m available work days and most weekends. Call to see if I’m available for special overnights care or medical care. If your dog has an appointment, I would gladly help you. If I show that I am not available it’s usually because I scheduled an appointment those days for myself. Pets or care for in my home in West Sacramento. A dog park is nearby as is a regular park for fragile dogs. One little Yorkie present and adults only.

About me: I'm a life-long dog lover who enjoys caring for and interacting with dogs. I consider myself a "dog enthusiast"! My dog care experience began with my family's Chow-Chow/German Shepard mix, Coco, who is now an old man but still very sweet and active! From a young age, I had responsibility for walking, feeding, and cleaning up after him which I've now extended to caring for other dogs, which I've been doing for the past few years. I am so excited to care for your dog! We'll walk, play, and have fun exploring the area together. I love getting out and walking and it will be even better with your pup! About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.
