1. Lauren M.
“Lauren took wonderful care of my two cats, Everest and Onyx, while I was away for a week. She was attentive, responsible, and communicative. When one of my cats managed to chew through a bag of dry food I had left out and made a mess, she quickly informed me, cleaned it up, and put the bag out of reach. Lauren kept me updated with regular photos. I felt completely at ease knowing my cats were in such loving hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

2. Esmerilda R.

I’m experienced in caring for older or sick dogs and can comfortably administer any medications they need. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and any specific rules you have in place, to make sure they are safe, loved, and well-cared for.

About: I love caring for rescue dogs and interacting with pets of all backgrounds. I have lived with all types of dogs since I was young (puppies, seniors, rescues, purebreds, cripples, injured/sick pups). I also have experience with emergency treatment and successfully introducing cats and dogs! I would be thrilled to help you with your pet care responsibilities. I’m a graduate student enrolled in classes part-time with flexible working hours so I am able to check in daily for about 20-60 minutes on family member’s pets. In my home, I make sure my pets are entertained and my dogs have quality time outdoors in a fenced-in yard. I also stay consistent with meals, potty breaks, walks, and grooming.

13. Alexa Y.
About: I grew up with pets (dogs, cats, exotics) my entire life and quickly took on the responsibility of caring for them at a young age. This passion led me down the path of pursuing Veterinary Medicine. Throughout high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter and also independently studied dog training. Through the use of positive reinforcement I have successfully trained my own two dogs as well as friends' and family members' dogs. During my undergraduate years, I was a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Southern, California. There I learned technical skills such as administering vaccines, collecting blood samples, and giving oral and injectable medications. I am currently a first year vet student at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where I’m continuing my journey to help animals live healthier, happier lives. Whether it’s walking, training, or giving your pet a little extra TLC, you can trust they’ll be in knowledgeable and loving hands with me. I am currently a first year veterinary student, so everyday I have a combination of lectures and labs. However, my schedule tends to fluctuate a lot and for the most part provides me flexibility. I am free most weekdays and weekends -with proper notice- for dog walking, pet check ins, house sitting, etc. I am well versed in dog and cat behavior and training. I am comfortable tailoring to your pets usual routine and comfort level. My goal is to make them as comfortable as they are when you are home!

14. Samantha B.
About: I’ve had pets for all of my life including, cats, dogs, birds, and more. Now that I am working remotely I have the flexibility to help with your pets in the Davis area. I would love to fill my days with more animals! I am a responsible, caring, reliable, and attentive person that would love to help you with your beloved animals. I work remotely fully time so I am very flexible during the week! Anytime 9am-6pm should work with me for pet care, whether that be a walk, feeding, in home stay, or just a check in. I am open to overnight stays as well. I currently do not a have a space to welcome animals, which is more reason why I’m missing being with animals throughout the week in the Davis area.

15. Daniella H.

“Dani was so sweet and great with our dogs! She played ball with them in our backyard. She sent us photos and updates daily. When we got home our house was cleaner than we left it! Definitely recommend Dani.”

16. Cassandra M.
About: I have owned a few dogs in my lifetime and as of 5 years ago I started caring for my neighbors’ dogs all throughout Davis! I typically stay the night and give them playtime in the backyard or walks.. whatever is needed, I’m there. I have experience with administering oral medication to dogs. I’m a recent UC Santa Cruz graduate with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and I’m currently looking for wildlife technician jobs as well as applying to grad school. I’m a part time caregiver at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I make sure to ask all the right questions in case of emergency and for the comfort of the pets. I like to get written lists of everything that needs to be done while the owners are away, this helps with any clarifying questions I may have!

17. Mario G.
“Mario is a responsible trust worthy student with a passion or animals like no other. Mario grew up taking care of his two younger sisters since the age of ten while his mother work. He eventually added a cat to the mix. He's currently in undergrad working toward becoming a vet and it was dream since he would force us to the Zoo at 5 years old. He is someone you only need tell once, and he'll get the job done. Hiring Mario would be the fantastic choice and I couldn't rave more!”

20. Rayna D.
“Rayna is a wonderful dog sitter. Not only did she have a 13 year old Pitt bill she took care of at home but she would go out of her way to babysit an additional set of dogs for another family during their family trips. She is very responsible and loves all living creatures especially dogs. She would be a great addition to Rover.”
