“Jenna was wonderful! She kept me updated on how my 16 week old puppy was doing. She sent me videos of my baby who still has anxiety around strangers and he loved her! I felt very comfortable that my puppy was in great hands.”
“Julia took care of our two large dogs at our house for a week. She sent frequent pictures and updates, which I really appreciate. My dogs are anxious and have all kinds of quirks (to put it mildly). She was able to deal with all of the challenges I told her about, as well as some I forgot! The house was in great shape when we got home. I felt very comfortable and confident that the dogs were well cared for throughout the trip. We will definitely have Julia take care of them again!”
“I am so glad we chose Tiali to care for our dog, chickens, and home while we were away! She asked great questions up front to clarify expectations, communicated with us throughout the week with updates, photos, and any questions that arose. She connectected well with our slightly neurotic, older rescued border collie mix. She even helped facilitate a drop-in visit from some old friends during our time away. We came home to find the house perfectly in order and hens and doggie well cared for. We highly recommend Tiali!!”
“Nora was amazing! She communicated often with photos and was flexible with my flight schedule. I knew my dog was in good hands while I was away thanks to Nora!”
“Esmerilda is great! She babysat our hyper high maintenance little dogs that I’m very overprotective of and she was so patient and listened to all of my requests so well. She has a total gift with animals, one of our dogs is normally very shy with strangers and in the past has taken days to feel comfortable around someone new, and she was loving Esmerilda within an hour which was amazing to see. I totally trusted her and would love to have her watch our dogs again.”
“Hope is absolutely amazing! Our dogs love her. She genuinely cares about our pets and sends videos and pictures often. She's always a joy to work with and will go above and beyond to make sure that they get the play time and cuddles they need.”
“I had the pleasure of having Jaimie as my home sitter for my cat and dog, and she was absolutely amazing! Jaimie was incredibly attentive and patient, taking great care of my pets. She even went above and beyond by providing basic training for my dog without me even asking. Jaimie's genuine concern and love for my pets were evident in every interaction. She also took the time to organize and tidy up my home to create a more comfortable space for them. I am incredibly grateful for her dedication and thoughtfulness. I can't thank Jaimie enough for the exceptional care she provided. Her attention to detail and the way she genuinely cared for my cat and dog exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a reliable and compassionate Rover sitter, I highly recommend Jaimie. She deserves nothing less than a five-star rating for her outstanding service. Thank you, Jaimie, for everything!”
About: I love caring for rescue dogs and interacting with pets of all backgrounds. I have lived with all types of dogs since I was young (puppies, seniors, rescues, purebreds, cripples, injured/sick pups). I also have experience with emergency treatment and successfully introducing cats and dogs! I would be thrilled to help you with your pet care responsibilities. I’m a graduate student enrolled in classes part-time with flexible working hours so I am able to check in daily for about 20-60 minutes on family member’s pets. In my home, I make sure my pets are entertained and my dogs have quality time outdoors in a fenced-in yard. I also stay consistent with meals, potty breaks, walks, and grooming.
“This is the 2nd time Mya has house/pet sat for us and I feel very comfortable with her in my home! And our skittish dog seems to be warming up to her, which is always a good sign!”
“I have only had great experiences with Aaron! Love that he specializes in cats but I am sure he would do well with any pets. Our cat Cleo has some very particular routines and Aaron made sure to ask questions and learn about her before catsitting for us. He sent updates daily, took pictures for us and was very attentive to Cleo's needs. I was definitely nervous to leave Cleo alone while we were out of town but Aaron's care and attention put my mind at ease.”
“Amaya is a natural with dogs and a pro pet-sitter. She took care of our 2-year old German Shepard for several days. Our dog can be a little reactive, but Amaya easily won her trust during the initial meet and greet. Our dog was also recovering from spay surgery and had a cone and needed medications. Amaya handled them all easily and confidently. Amaya was also super consistent sending photos of her visits and walks and feedings - all of which included our happy dog! We came home to a well cared for dog who was happy to see us, but who was clearly happy with Amaya's care.”
“Mayra is an excellent pet sitter, she has watched Molly our German shepard multiple times when we have had out trips, also when we had our little one. She is super nice, respectful and defined shows Molly the love we would. Molly shows happiness and is very cheerful when she sees mayra which totally tells you the bond. She's a total pet lover.”
“Kaelin is the single most animal-loving and animal-oriented person I've ever met. She has an incredible ability to connect with many different types of animals and love them like they're hers (she has a dog and two cats of her own). Random cats and dogs seem to approach her with an in-built understanding of her big heart, gentleness, and patience for all living creatures. Kaelin is also one of the most mature, put-together, and capable people I've ever met. Whenever there's a job to be done, she'll do it in an efficient, comprehensive manner. Overall, she is trustworthy, decent, and animals are truly one of the greatest joys of her life.”
“Noel is one of the best sitters we have had in a while. The dogs love her and we felt so confident that they were getting the best care while we were gone. Noel is also very responsive and provides ample updates and photos. Highly recommend!”
“Elizabeth was a great caretaker to my pup, Maxi! She was responsive to my messages, timely for the start of Max's stay and very caring and sweet to him. I didn't have to worry about a thing because I knew he was well cared for and happy! I will definitely be using her again!”
“Devi was great. We’ve already booked with her again! Devi was very responsive when booking. We were impressed by how professional she was when she came over for a meet-and-greet. Most importantly, she handled our easily overexcited, enormous dog perfectly—she was calm, let him set the pace, and he quickly relaxed with her. Devi sent updates and pics, so we were able to enjoy our weekend without worries.”
“Karen is an animal lover, it shows in her treatment of dogs and all animals. She volunteers with Guide Dogs of America and various organizations to help animals, including the Living Desert. Her attention to dogs and care for their well being goes above and beyond, as she is always looking for what's in the best interest of the pet. I couldn't recommend her enough. She is truly an animal Samaritan and anyone would be lucky to have their pet in her care.”
“Kiyomi was amazing! Went above and beyond for our fur babies. Babysat my dogs for a 4 day weekend while we were out of town. She was so kind to all of them. Definitely trustworthy and kept me inform all weekend. Thank you so much!!!”
About: Along with dog/cat-sitting neighbors and friends pets growing up, I’ve worked professionally in pet care as a doggy daycare supervisor, bather, and kennel tech at K9 Activity Club in Sonoma County. I’m used to supervising anywhere between 10-20 dogs at a time, feeding and giving different kinds of medication to pups, and spending one-on-one time with dogs of all ages and sizes. These qualities have provided me with great experience in pet handling and care, meaning I find myself well qualified to care for all kinds of pups. I work part-time and I’m currently going to school at UC Davis, however, I am willing to spend as much of my free time as possible with your pets! Being around animals always brings me joy, and is the perfect way to de-stress. I’m always respectful of clients wishes and rules regarding their pet’s house manners, meaning I understand requests of keeping them off furniture or ensuring they have clean fur when inside the home. I’m also understanding of the alternative, allowing pets to lay and play where they desire without restriction. I, myself, am also respectful of where I’m expected to be in the house, and would never cross boundaries or enter rooms/spaces where I am not needed.
About: I've taken care of small and medium size dogs. Have lots of experience of dog sitting even before adopting my own dog. I'm currently with one frenchie bulldog, and because of this specific breed having quite a lot of genetic problems, I naturally began to have interests in dog health. I'm pretty flexible with schedule. I'm always available except evening times on monday and wednesday. Also available on weekends. And always available with dog walking, doggy day care, and drop-in visits. I wouldn't do house sitting and boarding in my apartment since I think it might not be enough space for dogs from medium to large size. For doggy day care and drop-in visits, I will make sure the boundary of the house, rules, and even dog's allergies with my clients.
