About: I absolutely love all pets! I spent this past summer volunteering as a dog socializer and walker at Pets Lifeline Animal Shelter. I am comfortable around all dogs, all energy levels, I understand their body language, and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. I will dedicate my time to loving them and prioritizing your routine. I also have a pup of my own, a pug, who loves to get out of the house and is always curious! I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! My dogs can be slow to warm up to new people, but it was love at first sight… although both have some separation anxiety, Mehma gives the calmest vibes and I think they really feel comfortable with her. She is also a great guest and always tidies up after herself. Mehma is trustworthy, flexible, dependable, and great with dogs, and I recommend her wholeheartedly!”

I offer a flat rate with no upcharge for additional animals or medical needs. As a PhD student, my schedule is especially flexible over the summer. I am usually in Sacramento a few days per week and Davis otherwise, but I'm happy to work with your schedule. With reliable wifi, I'm happy to work from your home to accommodate your pet's schedule. Availability for frequency of potty breaks/walks varies; just ask! On all visits, if anything seems off, I will check in right away--better safe than sorry.

About: I have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was born. Now, I have worked as a vet assistant for 6 years in both general practice and oncology. I have helped with emergencies for all kinds of breeds and done overnight care several times. I also work and volunteer at shelters consistently so I know how to deal with animal stress. I have never met an animal I didn't love no matter its personality and demeanor so I know they are in good hands. I am a college student but have gaps in my day to go back to my apartment and take them out. I would never leave a pet at home for more than 2 hours and live with just my fiance and I also well equipped in pet care, but I will be doing the caregiving. I love every furry friend and it would be a joy rather than a chore to help care for each pet. I am well versed in medication administration, feeding, playtime, small training activities, and more. Depending on the breed or species, I would ensure I am thorough with each pets need and go from there whether thats exercise and play or just chilling on the couch.

I also have experience training dogs and would love to help with that if you’d like. I work from home most days so I have very flexible hours! :) I am a Neuroscience PhD student and can do pretty much all of my work remotely. I am very flexible with hours and will be able to give your pet as much attention as they need ! I can help however you need- I’d be happy to stay overnight if your pet needs it, though I can’t stay 24/7 since I have my own cat to take care of at home. I can take dogs on walks and give them lots of attention and play time. Or if your pet is more reclusive I can just provide some company as we exist in the same room. I’m super flexible!
