About: Having grown up in rural areas, I have twenty years of experience caring for and pet sitting all types of animals, from dogs and cats to goats, cows, and rabbits. I have cared for dogs as puppies through their end of life care, and I am confident in giving medications and palliative care for older dogs to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are traveling. I am a graduate student, which gives lots of flexibility for early mornings, late nights, and midday check ins- whatever your family needs! I am based in Davis, CA, and love to take walks all through the area. I have many years of experience in both domestic pet care and have been trained in veterinary settings to care for orphaned and injured wildlife and neonatal kittens. Safety in care is of the utmost importance to me, and I am able to handle any emergencies that may come through.

“Esmerelda is always amazing with our spoiled fur babies. It’s so nice knowing that they are getting lots of love and attention when we are away.”

“Cat was amazing with our 3 dogs! She was able to walk all of them together and she sent tons of pictures and videos so we knew they were in good hands. She was very communicative in letting us know what her schedule would be each day and we would recommend her to anyone who needs a house sitter for their dogs. Thanks, Cat!”

“Ashley is great and someone you can trust 100%”

About: I’m an experienced veterinarian who’s spent a lifetime around animals, both professionally and personally. I grew up with dogs and cats, and have raised and trained my own dogs from puppyhood. I’m confident handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m fully comfortable administering medications or providing extra care when needed. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or simple companionship, your pet will be in experienced, loving hands 😊 I often work remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine—whether that means early mornings, midday visits, or evening care. I’m also available for last-minute bookings and happy to assist when plans change unexpectedly. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m experienced in caring for older or sick dogs and can comfortably administer any medications they need. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and any specific rules you have in place, to make sure they are safe, loved, and well-cared for.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats, for over 15 years now for myself, friends and family. I'm comfortable walking, feeding, and bathing. Love dogs of all ages but am especially good with senior care. I do work full time M-F, but since I work from home I can be more flexible with drop- ins and stay in visits. I can stay overnights as well. Weekends are pretty much open. Just let me know what your needs are. If in home services are requested, I can feed, walk, and play with your dogs. I can also help with crate training, slow feeders, or any special dietary requirements.

“Nora is a phenomenal sitter for our dog and our cat. It makes my time away from them so much easier when I know that she is there taking care of them.”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since as long as I can remember. I work well with any type of pet as I am a patient and responsible person. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to have peace of mind when having to leave a pet for a night or even longer. Which is why I strive to care for your pet as if it were also my furry friend. I am currently a student at UC Davis, so I am available 7 days a week. Feel free to message me for with any questions and concerns about scheduling. I am very flexible! I have a cat at home and have provided care for dogs of every size. I know how to respect a pets space when needed and provide care when needed (bathrooms breaks, playtime, etc). I am also an Animal Science major over at UC Davis so I am familiar with pet body language and what it means. Please contact me with any questions!

About: I grew up with pets (dogs, cats, exotics) my entire life and quickly took on the responsibility of caring for them at a young age. This passion led me down the path of pursuing Veterinary Medicine. Throughout high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter and also independently studied dog training. Through the use of positive reinforcement I have successfully trained my own two dogs as well as friends' and family members' dogs. During my undergraduate years, I was a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Southern, California. There I learned technical skills such as administering vaccines, collecting blood samples, and giving oral and injectable medications. I am currently a first year vet student at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where I’m continuing my journey to help animals live healthier, happier lives. Whether it’s walking, training, or giving your pet a little extra TLC, you can trust they’ll be in knowledgeable and loving hands with me. I am currently a first year veterinary student, so everyday I have a combination of lectures and labs. However, my schedule tends to fluctuate a lot and for the most part provides me flexibility. I am free most weekdays and weekends -with proper notice- for dog walking, pet check ins, house sitting, etc. I am well versed in dog and cat behavior and training. I am comfortable tailoring to your pets usual routine and comfort level. My goal is to make them as comfortable as they are when you are home!

About: With a childhood spent caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats, and now the devoted owner of an Australian Shepherd and a Chihuahua, I bring a wealth of experience and affection to pet sitting. As a veterinary student, I possess the knowledge and capability to administer medications and provide any necessary medical care for your pets. With a genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being, I am dedicated to ensuring your pets receive the love, attention, and specialized care they deserve while you're away. You can trust me to treat your furry friends like they're my own, giving you peace of mind knowing they're in capable hands. I am generally available throughout the day, except when I have mandatory labs or discussions at school. I’ll make sure to give your pets plenty of attention and care during the times I am free. While pet-sitting your beloved companion, I prioritize their safety and well-being above all else. You can trust that I'll keep a vigilant eye on them at all times, ensuring they steer clear of any potential hazards and remain secure within your home. Your pet's safety is my top priority, and I'll go above and beyond to provide them with the attentive care and supervision they deserve.

“Carla was great again during her second stay in our house with Sherlock! She sent pictures daily and followed all instructions on how to care for our big pup.”

About: I have owned a few dogs in my lifetime and as of 5 years ago I started caring for my neighbors’ dogs all throughout Davis! I typically stay the night and give them playtime in the backyard or walks.. whatever is needed, I’m there. I have experience with administering oral medication to dogs. I’m a recent UC Santa Cruz graduate with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and I’m currently looking for wildlife technician jobs as well as applying to grad school. I’m a part time caregiver at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I make sure to ask all the right questions in case of emergency and for the comfort of the pets. I like to get written lists of everything that needs to be done while the owners are away, this helps with any clarifying questions I may have!

“Diane was wonderful! great with Taco and Moo, always making sure they got their walks in and were happily fed. I particularly appreciated her prompt communications and picture updates??would highly recommend”

“Julia is fantastic! We loved having her watch our pets.”

About: I've taken care of my own pittbull since I was 10 years old and have dog sat for a household with three dogs for two years. I would give them potty breaks, play with them and stay the evening with them for days on end. Pet care would be when I have down time from my full time weekday only job which ranges from early mornings thru evenings. It would be a nice relaxing time to destress from work! I always make sure I have a meet and greet prior if I have a new client and I make sure to ask the owners if there are any special accommodations for the dogs, if there's something I specifically need to know, if there are holes in the backyard or the dog isn't trusted off the leash.

“Dani was so sweet and great with our dogs! She played ball with them in our backyard. She sent us photos and updates daily. When we got home our house was cleaner than we left it! Definitely recommend Dani.”

About: I'm someone that loves to get outside and be active and I bet you're dogs are thinking the same. I have experience providing daily medications for older pups and I love getting outdoors with the dogs to spend their energy. I also don't mind bathing dogs that may get dirty playing outside! I'm currently a full-time engineering student, but I'd love to spend some time with dogs on the weekend! I'm typically free on friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have one 11-year-old doodle, that requires daily medication and often brushing/grooming. When I'm home she has free range of the house when I have eyes on her, when I'm gone she's kennel trained and I never leave her for more than two to three hours at a time.

“Mya took great care of our dog and house while we were away for a long weekend! She sent updates and pictures daily and it was very easy to communicate with her both before and during the stay. Highly recommended!”

“Jenna was proactive, reliable and loving. She asked questions about caring for our dog that I didn't even think of and she went above and beyond in terms of caring for him and our house and yard. You can tell she has a patient and caring disposition and it showed in how our dog was immediately in love, which made it a stress free night away for us. Buddy was well exercised, cuddled and taken care of! I'd recommend Jenna to anyone and we will definitely use her again.”
