“This was the first time I boarded my (75lb) dog at someone’s home and I was terrified. From communication exchange, Zia was everything I wanted in a dog sitter but felt we were NOTHING that she would want from a pet in her house. We met for a meet and greet in a park and immediately Milly jumped on her (gleefully) and I thought it was the end. It was only the beginning. I felt so comfortable leaving her there in her care- with her animal experience and knowledge, she easily managed the dog and I’m not sure Milly was altogether thrilled to come home after all the attention she received. About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. I take my puppy on long walks at the Davis Arboretum and have a dog park where I live which ensures they are getting their exercise and playtime. My apartment is clean for health safety. If I am staying at the owner’s home, I will apply the owner’s directions.

“A bit hard to review as there wasn’t much overlapping time to be with Memha. Her home is quite rural and surrounded by orchards with a large fenced yard so visually very appealing Memha and her husband were very sweet and volunteered to come into town to both pick up and return our dog back to us; very thoughtful! Our dog came home tired which we loved!”

About: I have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was born. Now, I have worked as a vet assistant for 6 years in both general practice and oncology. I have helped with emergencies for all kinds of breeds and done overnight care several times. I also work and volunteer at shelters consistently so I know how to deal with animal stress. I have never met an animal I didn't love no matter its personality and demeanor so I know they are in good hands. I am a college student but have gaps in my day to go back to my apartment and take them out. I would never leave a pet at home for more than 2 hours and live with just my fiance and I also well equipped in pet care, but I will be doing the caregiving. I love every furry friend and it would be a joy rather than a chore to help care for each pet. I am well versed in medication administration, feeding, playtime, small training activities, and more. Depending on the breed or species, I would ensure I am thorough with each pets need and go from there whether thats exercise and play or just chilling on the couch.
