About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, I helped care for my family’s Golden Retriever, which gave me experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and providing daily care. I currently own a cat of my own, so I am very familiar with feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel comfortable and loved. I am comfortable with all aspects of pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, giving updates to owners, and following specific care instructions. I understand that every pet has unique needs and I always strive to provide a safe, reliable, and caring experience. I currently work part-time at an ice cream shop, but I have flexible availability throughout the week. I am generally more available during the daytime on weekdays and can provide drop-in visits on both weekdays and weekends. I always communicate my availability in advance and only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, ensuring your pet receives reliable and attentive care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special care needs. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of attention and playtime. I treat every home with respect and provide photo and message updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pet.

“Zihui helped me so much as I'm recovering from a broken ankle and leg and needed someone to walk my high energy German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois puppy while my husband was out of town. She came and was great with him immediately and walked him for an hour every day for the entire week so that I could focus on work. She told me how each walk went and just very kind and pleasant. About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! Might as well do what I love and get payed for it. XD I have a calm smaller dog, and a cat who LOVES dogs (she’s strange I know). I live right next to a huge park and walking trail.

About: I've grown up and lived with dogs most of my life. The best part of visiting home is getting to see our long haired terrier and our chihuahua mix. I've dog and house sat multiple times for friends who live in Davis. It’s always been a great experience as I find walking and hanging out with dogs to be a good way of decompressing from classes. I currently have more flexibility in my academic schedule, so I'm open for short or long term pet and house sitting. If you think I may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out. I'm currently helping in a lab on UCD, but my timing is flexible. I can easily work pet and house sitting into my schedule. My current living situation doesn't allow for me to have pets. When it comes to caring for a pet in their home I would follow the existing routines and refer to how the owner cares for their pet. I am a firm believer that it's far less stressful for a dog or cat to be able to stay home while their owner is out of town.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and learned to care for them and love them. My love for dogs and pets led me to study Animal Science at UC Davis to become a veterinarian. I’ve been known to be good at handling and managing dogs. I would treat your dog as if it were one of my own. I’m currently taking classes and working part time but I can work around my schedule to ensure your pet gets the walks that they need. I am very respectful of any space and will respect your home while taking care of your environment. I understand trust is important so I’ll be glad to build that trust.

About: I have done work as a delivery driver. I maintain efficiency and quality. I have also taken care of my friends dog for a few days. I am currently a freelance, doing food delivery and UberX for people at peek time. I can adjust my time for pet care. My elder son adopted a pair of cats and they are together more than 3 three years at his campus. My younger son loves dogs. We can take care of dogs after school if he wants to come with me. Will learn more about pet safety from each owners. Dog Leash must be used while walking dogs. Will be far away from other dogs if they are rude or no permissions from my owners & their owners. All will be under owners’ guidelines.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young and also have had lots of experience with dogs as a veterinary assistant at the vet hospital I work at! I’ve worked with everything from puppies to seniors. I’m a sucker for large dogs and I’m very confident handling them! I’m a full time at UC Davis but have lots of time between classes! Be sure to check my schedule to see what times I’m available on different days. I live in an apartment but I live close by to many parks and trails for taking out your pet to go potty, go on walks, or play. I have a large dog who is great with other dogs.

About: I’ve owned a menagerie of pets since I was 12 years old. I’ve owned cats, dogs, rodents, birds, you name it! As an aspiring veterinarian who had an amazing internship last summer and someone who has owned many senior animals, I am able to accommodate special medical needs as long as you leave me clear instructions on how to care for your fur baby. I am currently a full-time student and part-time veterinary assistant, but I do not have any other commitments outside of that! Depending on my daily academic schedule, I can typically fit in brief visits in the early morning and during my lunch breaks, and longer visits in the evening! I will follow any instructions left to me to a T. If there is something I’m unsure about, I will be sure to ask clients before taking any drastic actions (unless it is truly an emergency).

About: I have taken care of two cats since 2023, and have lived with two dogs in my family home since 2020. I absolutely love dogs and cats, and am willing to care for your pets with the same attention that I give my own animals! Growing up with different pets from fish, crabs, parakeets and hamsters is where my love for animals comes from and am excited to express that love in a way that is helpful to the community around me! I've lived in Davis for the past 5 years and as a former Unitrans employee, this opportunity seems like the best way for me to continue giving my efforts back to the city of Davis and its people! My schedule is very flexible currently and am able to help your pet throughout the day if need be! I am mobile and am able to make multiple visits to your animal in a single day, as well as take them on multiple trips and/or walks if need be. I prefer to take care of your animals in the space that they are comfortable in, and will be respectful of your home and property for the time I am in your space. I am able to play with, take on walks, feed, and take care of any other tasks your pet may need!
