“She is an amazing pet sitter! She is great with my dog, is very reliable, and I always know that my dog is safe with her and having fun! She walks my dog, throws the ball for her and lets her get energy out and use the bathroom while I’m at work and I always know she’s in good hands. She’s great at communication and is really flexible about what time she comes over. I highly recommend her!!”

Let’s make tails wag and hearts happy Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. With over 16 years of experience in pet sitting and dog walking — and a background working in a veterinary clinic — caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly love. I’ve shaped my schedule around being there when your pets need me most, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays. I approach each day with patience, reliability, and a calm energy that animals respond to. Your pets’ comfort and well-being are always my top priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I offer a cozy, clean, and peaceful space where they can relax, play, and enjoy lots of one-on-one attention. About: My dog lives in D.C. For boarding in my home your pet(s) will be the only one(s) present :) What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and calm, reliable presence around animals of all types. I have a background in environmental education and service through AmeriCorps, where I developed patience, strong communication skills, and a love for caring for others, including our four-legged friends. I’m especially good with dogs that need consistency and routine, including puppies who are still learning and senior dogs who need a gentle, attentive touch. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I take pride in being dependable, clean, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. Whether it’s getting the zoomies out on a long walk or keeping an older dog comfortable and relaxed, I’m here to help your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I like having structure in my day, and pet care fits naturally into that. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding routines, or playtime, I enjoy building my schedule around giving pets the attention they need. I’m active and responsible, so making time for walks, check-ins, and quality time with animals feels easy and rewarding. Plus, being around animals helps me de-stress and stay grounded—so it’s something I genuinely look forward to, not just a task to check off. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that matches the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions—whether that’s giving medication, keeping a puppy on track with training, or making sure a senior dog gets their quiet time. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to leave everything clean and in order. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and loved, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: I have been around animals since I could even remember. I am more than capable of taking care of one as I have 3 pets. I have nothing to do during the day besides staying at home and being around family. I just want to see animals and save up. My pets are provided many toys to keep them occupied or if they want to play, and they are given treats when behaved or cute.
About: I have been around pets ever since I can remember and probably had around 10 in my life so far. I’ll be attentive, caring and sweet with your little friends, bringing them the comfort and calm they need when you’re not home ❤️ I’m currently a student at UC Davis with a part-time job, so I will be available for pet sitting every other day normally after 12pm (noon) I can easily find a space in your home where the pet feels more at comfort and I’ll act quickly and proactively when I notice something is needed.
About: Hello! Thank you so much for checking my profile! My name is Rina, I own two wonderful cats but grew up with dogs. I am my friend’s go to sitter for dogs, cats, hamsters and fishes 🥰 I have a special spot in my heart for pets and feel fortunate to have you trust me with yours. My availability is currently very flexible and open. I am also able to meet any needs your pet may have or if your pet follows a strict diet or routine, I can definitely keep up! My house is very spacious (2 stories) and my cats reside upstairs while I dogsit downstairs. I keep a gate in between downstairs and upstairs to avoid any cat and dog interactions and have always provided a safe doggy care experience. I also live next to a beautiful park 3 minutes away walking distance and have a mini patio at home. I look forward to taking care of your furry family! If you have any questions, please let me know and if I’ve had the pleasure to serve you, please don’t forget to leave a review, thank you! I have a very flexible and open schedule at the moment and can adjust to your dogs schedule accordingly, written schedules over verbal instructions are always appreciated! I own 2 cats but live in a house with a total of 5 cats. Our cats are not dog curious so they stay away 😅 and we keep cats and dogs separate for safety reasons and have always provided a safe stay.
“Nora was really kind and found some time for a last minute request from me. She’s been extremely responsive and responsible. Anika loves her! Will definitely keep her on my go-to list for the futyre”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was 17, spent the night at houses with animals, provided walks, food, baths and playtime. Many clients have asked me back. I have worked with both cats and dogs. I also grew up with cats and dogs and know how to care for them well. I am currently on summer break here in Davis with a pretty open schedule. Please reach out and we can coordinate a time that works with both of us! A clean and safe environment that is comfortable for both the animals and myself. Has parking, preferably fenced for extra safety, neighbors who are willing to communicate with me.
About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors and friends consistently for the last seven years ranging from feeding and taking them out once a day to staying at their house for multiple weeks caring for large and small dogs. I volunteered at a humane society for three years where I worked mostly with walking, entertaining, and caring for dogs. Because of this I have a lot of experience with dogs of different temperaments and have learned how to get dogs out of sketchy situations with other dogs in public. I am currently working part time from 10am - 2pm on Tue/Thur and have class most evenings. Anytime outside of these times can work with my schedule! I am comfortable walking large dogs in public, keeping an eye on them in a pool or enclosed yard, as well as crating them if required. I have a standard sedan and am comfortable taking dogs to parks for walks as well. If I were to transport dogs I would be willing to take whatever measures to assure the dogs safety in the car, which would be up to the owner.
“Esmerilda took great care of Finn. Prompt and very good communication. She was very patient and caring. The feedback I received from Finns dog friend's were all positive. I would highly recommend Esmerilda on any dog services.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my friends and families pets since I was 15. I helped trained my dog with treats. I’m also a groomer (bathe, trim nails & hair, brush teeth), cook (make my dog healthy treats), and have helped administer medications. Im currently a student in college with a lot less on their plate than expected. I have the time to be attentive to your pets needs and take them out for long walks. I live in an apartment and can still walk dogs or do house sitting at their place! I am available for the weekends and on Wednesdays, though my schedule tends to change as a student.
