Nora S.
“Nora is a very trustworthy and compassionate individual. When it comes to working, she tends to do whatever it takes to make sure she gets the full job done. She tends not to find ways out of a commitment once she has already committed. I’ve seen her interact with her family dog, Kota, and she always lets him cuddle up!”

Eleanor P.

“She took extra time to get to know my fur babies, and all their weird needs (trust me they’re weird) and was so kind and caring towards them. 10/10 recommendation :)”

Esmerilda R.
“Esmerilda did a wonderful job watching our dog, Misty, who is anxious and full of energy and difficult to handle. She gave us very detailed reports of each of her visits with lots of pictures. She introduced some new methods for Misty’s diet and care, she brushed her and dried her off after every walk during a big rain storm, and even ran the vacuum cleaner before she left. We’d had a bad experience with our last sitter (not from Rover) and were anxious about leaving our dog and our home in someone else’s hands, but she totally allayed those fears. I felt comfortable on my trip knowing my dog was in such good hands. She is knowledgeable and passionate and responsible- I highly recommend her!”

About: I am currently an Animal Science student at UC Davis and have over 7 years of working with over twenty species of animals including reptiles, amphibians, birds, and both exotic and domestic mammals. I currently work at the UC Davis Campus Veterinary Services and have previously worked at the UCD Veterinary Rehab Center, and San Francisco Zoo in their Animal Resource Center (where I have learned how to clean enclosures, prepare diets, properly handle, and train over twenty species of exotic animals). Last summer I worked as a PetsHotel associate in PetSmart where I was responsible for monitoring Doggy Day Camp with an average of 20 dogs per group, caring for boarding dogs, leading individual sessions with dogs, and caring for boarding cats. Not only do I have extensive first-hand experience with pet care, but I also have research experience involving animal behavior, training in raptor handling, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have two cats of my own and 15 other pets (all insects, reptiles, and amphibians)! I am available on T/W/Thr before 11:30am and after 12:40pm, and M/F/Sat/Sun all day! I have a very flexible schedule so I can dedicate a lot of time to your pets. Safety and trust are two of the most important things to me when caring for pets. For a pet to feel safe, I always take my time when greeting them for the first time, getting down to their level, and not making any sudden sounds or movements that may come across as a threat to the pet. This ensures an initial formation of trust between me and the pet. Following pet parent instructions is also essential and I make sure to be aware of the pet's needs and their preferred routine so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible. Additionally, I am a very vigilant person and am always keeping an eye on the pet I am caring for, to ensure their environment is safe and free of any hazards and the pet continues to be healthy and happy.

Maddie L.

“I can’t give her enough stars! Maddie was very professional, met me the night before, interacted with my dog and spent the full 30 min with him for both of the walks. I highly recommend her.”

Elaine H.

“Elaine did a great job with walking Anika. She returned from her walk having had a good work-out and Elaine & Anika got to know each other in preparation for a longer time together.”

Iryna B.
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for more than 20 years. When I was younger, I rescued abused and neglected dogs back in Ukraine. Since then, I have had cats and dogs in Ukraine until I escaped the war in April 2022. Now that I am in the US, I often take care of the dogs and cats of my host families. I hope to take care of your pets as well! I have a flexible schedule and can work on most days, including weekends and holidays. On weekdays, I may need to step out to drop off and pick up my daughter from school. Every day, I walk, feed and clean up after my host family's two cats and one dog. I will ensure that the client's pets are safe and will be attentive to any special needs. Since I have taken care of many pets before, I know what I need to be aware of. I will also make sure to leave the client's house in the same condition as it was when they have left.

“I hired Hanna to watch my two dogs for a week. I have two huskies that love to go on long walks and play fetch. She came to my house twice a day to provide them with food and water and a potty break. Additionally, she took them to the park to play with them daily. She was a responsible and reliable pet sitter and I would definitely hire her again!”

Rosalie S.

“Rosalie Sinclair is a great animal caretaker, and is not strange to watching a pet in her place. She has watched dogs, cats, rabbits and etc. She is very tentative to listening to the what the caretakers of the pet ask, and will make sure to follow their orders and keep the pet as comfortable as possible. I can a say from experience from her watching people's pet's she does a great job and the caretakers are usually first to call her if she can watch them again for them.”

Jaimie B.
“The care attention to detail and love she gives to every pet she meets and cares for goes above and beyond. There is a bond she builds with both the pet and the pet parent that will give both comfort and joy. She is someone that always goes above and beyond in everything she does and for everyone she is in contact with. Her love, care and responsibility is the way she lives her life and always shares. She is the Best.”

Brittney M.
“Brittney has been an exceptional dog sitter for us over the past year. Her unwavering commitment to ensuring our furry family members are cared for and loved is unparalleled. Her intuitive understanding of our dogs' needs, coupled with her genuine affection for them, made us feel completely at ease each time we had to be away. We've been consistently impressed with her professionalism, punctuality, and communication. Brittney has a unique knack for creating a bond with each dog she cares for, making them feel comfortable and at home in her presence. We couldn't be happier with the high level of care and kindness she extends toward our pets. Her services have exceeded all of our expectations, and we heartily recommend Brittney to any animal owner in need of a reliable and loving pet sitter.”

She has a nice facility for boarding. Kendall is also very good at taking care of medical needs with pets. She has years of experience with foster pets. I have complete confidence while my pets have been in her care.”

Kaelin C.
“Kaelin is the single most animal-loving and animal-oriented person I've ever met. She has an incredible ability to connect with many different types of animals and love them like they're hers (she has a dog and two cats of her own). Random cats and dogs seem to approach her with an in-built understanding of her big heart, gentleness, and patience for all living creatures. Kaelin is also one of the most mature, put-together, and capable people I've ever met. Whenever there's a job to be done, she'll do it in an efficient, comprehensive manner. Overall, she is trustworthy, decent, and animals are truly one of the greatest joys of her life.”

Jennifer G.
About: Hiiii!! My name is Jennifer (prefer Jenni lol) I will tell you a little about myself etc. I’ve taken care of a dog for a month & a half. She was a golden doodle poodle. She stayed w/ me, we bathed her, took her on walks, morning, evening & before it was time for bed. I have 2 cocker spaniels of my own. I’ve had pets since I was about 8 years old. I love my own dogs & literally treat them like humans! If I could have more, I would. On my free time, I enjoy going out for hikes, walks & coffee runs. I also enjoy reading, love love it. I’m currently working part time. I have enough time to take dogs on a walk and be able to play with them as well. Including dog sitting whatsoever! I have a gate in my house. It’s actually locked for safety. I do have a backyard as well. My dogs are very friendly & I always tend to offer treats when behaving well.

Morgaine D.

“Morgaine has been helping me with my dogs for four years now. When I got my first dog I was not sure how to train or exercise him, Morgaine jumped right in and helped me put in a healthy foundation for my dog, Dusty, and when I got busy working 12 hour days she took him out on walks and trails. Then when I got a new puppy a year ago, I had never had a puppy, she helped again with the training. Xena is a border collie mix and she was a God send helping to get her the exercise this high energy breed needs.”

Samantha Y.
“Samantha has dog sat for my labrador retriever 3 or 4 times already and she is the best! Her home is so nice for dogs to be, with a fenced in yard and everything, and it was very convenient and easy to drop off my dog to her house! During our trips, Samantha would send us pictures and updates of how our dog was doing and would let us know if she noticed anything of concern. Samantha really loves and takes care of the dogs that she dogsits for and you can tell that she really enjoys what she does!”

About: I love caring for rescue dogs and interacting with pets of all backgrounds. I also have experience with emergency treatment and successfully introducing cats and dogs! I would be thrilled to help you with your pet care responsibilities.
