About: I have always taken care of pets since I was little ranging from cats and dogs to reptiles to any pet not a person that needed to take care of that near me. I only have two in person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and other than that I am free no other job except school right now :) I have always taken care of my family’s pet, especially my sisters which her house consist of a golden retriever and a poodle and a Chihuahua. The poodle is very very old and she is an elderly dog, so she’s blind and has arthritis and going to deaf, so I was always used to cleaning up and guided her to the restroom or her food and still focusing on the other pets, giving everyone the proper love and care at the exact same time.

About: Extensive experience as a vet tech for over 5 years, experience raising future service dog puppies from 8 weeks old, currently a third year veterinary student, equipped to handle pet emergencies I am working 2 days a week in an emergency pet hospital so I have lots of time outside of those days to spend with your pets! I care for pets in a specialized manner to what works best for them-whether that be a high-energy dog that enjoys playing in the park and long walks or a senior citizen who enjoys a leisurely amble

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

About: I grew up around dogs of all kinds, from couch-potato rescues to high-energy working breed. I love seeing all the ways that a dog's personality manifests when they're given the love, structure, and attention they need to thrive! Whether you have a furry friend who needs regular long walks or just lots of attention, I am looking forward to helping you give your pup the life they deserve. I'm currently doing remote work with flexible scheduling, so my hours are available to you whenever you need! With the exception of Thursdays, I am available weekdays and weekends, morning or afternoon or evenings. Let me know how I can help! Building trust through treats and positive reinforcement allows us to interact in a low-stress environment and lets me provide them with the best care possible.

About: I raised my doggo teddy since he was 7 weeks old, he will be 5 in December of 2025 :) Sherpa was also a rather energetic senior, I fostered and took care of until he passed to doggy heaven. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, administer medication, and house their pets since I was a teen. I’m also experienced with caring for senior dogs and keeping up with playful puppies. In regards to medication, I have given dogs eye drops, inhalers, dealt with difficult doggos that don't even want to take medicine in pill pockets. I will be sure to give your dog medicine. On another note I will not be taking your dogs to dog parks anything can occur as there are dogs of various temperaments. Dogs will not be off-leash when being walked and while walking, I tend to avoid people or other dog interactions to maintain safety, regardless of how sweet or kind your dog or the other dogs are. Safety first always! :) Aside from that I will always throw frisbees, toys, and even tustle with overly energetic puppies/dogs in your home/backyard if thats how they like to have fun. A tired dog is a happy dog! I will likely be in the house most of the time if your dog has separation anxiety. At the present moment I have thankfully only 2 classes and 1 only class I am taking, so I would be returning within the house. Moreoever, as I am studying for the MCAT scary I prefer to be a recluse at the house with your pups or kitties of course. Yayyy :) Your dog will be cared for in a secure and welcoming environment. My fenced yard offers plenty of space for safe playtime, and I’m also located near several trails, perfect for outdoor walks and adventures. My two friendly dogs can provide companionship if your pup enjoys socializing, and if crating is part of their routine, I can accommodate that to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease.

About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.

About: I grew up with a dog, cats, birds, bunnies, and fish. I'm a grad student in Davis with two FIV+ cats of my own, and I'm happy to help nearby pet owners out with drop-in services. I'm also a kitten/cat foster for the UCD Veterinarian School's Orphan Kitten Project and have experience with oral medication and spicy kitties. I'm a full-time grad student with two cats, so I can provide drop-in services for pets and boarding for FIV+ cats. Happy to check in on your pets when you're out of town! During drop-ins I can provide walks, litter box cleaning, feeding, oral medication, brushing, etc. For FIV+ cat boarding, I am open to following your specific schedule if needed.

About: What sets me apart is as a pre-vet student, my clinical experience working in a veterinary setting, where I assisted in vaccine clinics and gained hands-on exposure to animal handling and care. This experience taught me how to safely and calmly work with animals of different temperaments, including those who may be nervous or stressed. About: I have been working as a pet sitter and dog walker for over 10 years. I have grown up with dogs my whole life. Having had multiple rescue dogs with emotional and physical ailments, I have become very adept at altering my behavior to accommodate your dogs needs by being flexible and patient. My home has always been a go-to for when my family goes out of town, we welcome their dogs with open arms. I have also volunteered at multiple Animal Shelters in my free time and I am a graduate student studying psychology. I have a lot of experience with caring for dogs, cats, rodents, birds, and reptiles. I have also given oral and injectable medications to a variety of animals. I would love to care for your animal in your home so they feel comfortable and safe while you are away. I will treat every client as if they were my own pet. As an academic, my schedule is pretty flexible, so I am able to check on your pets often throughout the day (particularly since I predominantly work from home). Your pets will be safe with me.
