About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.

About: What sets me apart is as a pre-vet student, my clinical experience working in a veterinary setting, where I assisted in vaccine clinics and gained hands-on exposure to animal handling and care. This experience taught me how to safely and calmly work with animals of different temperaments, including those who may be nervous or stressed. I also have over 10 years of experience with a variety of species including dogs, cats, cows, goats, pigs, chickens and birds. I am happy and open to take care of all animals. About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I could remember. I have experience with bathing dogs who get exited or like to jump around. I also have experience administering medications or flea treatments to animals. I’m also familiar with nail care which I do to my own animals monthly. Currently i’m taking on new clients and I have an open schedule for 7 days a week. I have availability for mornings, afternoons and nights. I have a very big open field across my house that would be great for walks and running around. I live in an apartment so I don’t have a fenced in area but I have a patio.

From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

I do not accept dogs with severe separation anxiety, constant barking, aggression towards humans, or destructive tendencies. I do not accept small animals/aquatics with aggression towards humans or destructive tendencies. - Other requirements: I am a working professional. Your home must have reliable high-speed Wi-Fi and a quiet place to sit and work while I housesit/watch your pet. If I am staying in your home, for my safety and security, I require that no other humans other than you come over for the duration. I work remotely full-time as a policy consultant, meaning my schedule is highly flexible and I can be present in the home for the majority of the day. I maintain a quiet, predictable, and focused daily routine. Because my work is entirely remote, your pets will have consistent companionship, and their specific feeding, walking, and medication schedules will be executed exactly as you prescribe them. My background as a laboratory scientist means I operate with an exacting standard of cleanliness, precision, and respect for established protocols. Your home is treated as a secure, private environment. I do not invite guests over, I maintain a strict privacy firewall, and I ensure all home security and maintenance routines are followed to the letter. About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! Might as well do what I love and get payed for it. XD I have a calm smaller dog, and a cat who LOVES dogs (she’s strange I know). I live right next to a huge park and walking trail.

About: I have always taken care of pets since I was little ranging from cats and dogs to reptiles to any pet not a person that needed to take care of that near me. I only have two in person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and other than that I am free no other job except school right now :) I have always taken care of my family’s pet, especially my sisters which her house consist of a golden retriever and a poodle and a Chihuahua. The poodle is very very old and she is an elderly dog, so she’s blind and has arthritis and going to deaf, so I was always used to cleaning up and guided her to the restroom or her food and still focusing on the other pets, giving everyone the proper love and care at the exact same time.
