About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with about five years of hands-on pet sitting experience. Growing up around animals has given me a natural comfort with them, and over the years I've cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Some of the breeds I've looked after include Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Beagles, Corgis, and plenty of wonderful mixed breeds. I've also cared for cats here and there—and while I'm slightly allergic, that has never stopped me from giving them the love and attention they deserve. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and am in search of dog walking, training, bathing, and pet sitting positions to help me pay off student loans. About: I grew up with dogs and would oftentimes feed and walk them. I also helped my friends take care of their pets and pet sat for them as well. I am free anytime Fridays-Sundays and can stop by in the mornings and afternoons before, after, and in between classes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher but I can still make them work. I like to spend as much time with them as I can, either sitting with them, playing with them, going out for walks, and feeding them at times instructed by the owners. I also often like to do chores such as sweeping/vacuuming and tidying up spaces in the house.

Full time SAHM so much free time to care for your furry pets. About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. I also worked with campus goats, pigs, sheep, fish, cattle, and horses—and even fostered cats for the hospital. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I continue to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets with the same compassion, attention, and responsibility that’s guided me my whole life. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.
About: I have always been taking care of neighbors dogs and cats whenever they are away on vacation ever since I was young. I also have experience taking care of my own pets making sure they have all the exercise and attention needed. I previously was a vet assistant so am familiar with any medication needs. About: What really sets me apart is how much I truly care. I have two dogs of my own, a Pitbull/Great Dane mix and a German Shorthaired Pointer, so I know how much love, patience, and energy pets need. I also help care for my grandma, who has dementia, which has taught me to be extra gentle, attentive, and understanding. I bring that same kind of warmth and care to every pet I meet, treating them like family from the start. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for in my daily routine. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. About: I have three cats and one dog of my own! I’m used to all and any antics they can get up to. I’ve got a crazy routine for my pets, so no requests are too much for me :) Typically I am free in the morning or afternoon most days. My weekends are usually free with a usual trip to the Saturday farmers market when it happens. I regularly take care of my cats which includes feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, cleaning their areas, brushing them, and generally heeding their every need. I like to make enrichment toys using cardboard boxes/paper towel tubes or by teaching them tricks like spin and high five! When taking dogs out, I try to make sure to wipe their paws down with a wet paper towel prior to entering the house, especially after going in more muddy areas. I like going at the dogs pace on walks whether that be sniffing around a bunch or taking a jog around the neighborhood until they get tired! I used to have a cat that required medication, so I’m familiar with giving pills and liquid meds to cats.

About: I've had multiple dogs all my life (all shelter rescues of all sizes and temperaments) and cared for them up into their senior years. From unique feeding routines to walks/runs in the early morning, to fetch, tug-of-war, midday potty breaks, and cuddles, I've done it all! I've also raised and fostered several litters of rescue kittens to be adopted, from bottlefeeding to litterbox training and handling practice. I am well learned in cleaning litterboxes, prepping midday snacks, and providing love and attention for kitties of all ages. I provide runs and walks for various dogs several days a week and house-sit on occasion during the summer. I also drop in to play with, feed, or entertain dogs whose families are away for long periods of time during the day. About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.

About: We are excellent dog, cat, bird, poultry, reptile, and fish caretakers as we have raised most of these, and a few years ago, we had a thriving Rover business taking care of folks' animal babies. We can take care of medications if your pet needs: We have administered medicine to most of the animals on our list, including oral medication for a rooster and injections for a snake. We have had some experience in training our current dog as a service animal. While we have not had the chance to care for farm animals on our own, we love them and have had experience being around them (horses, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, alpaca). Animals, plants, gardens, farms, and home-care are all in our wheelhouse and are the foundations to our lives. If you are looking to have your fur baby stay with us, we have a large home with a fenced backyard. Our German Shepherd loves to play with other dogs, and we take him and our guests to local dog parks or fenced fields to play ball and or frisbee. We take care of our guests exactly how we want our pup to be taken care of! I work part time remotely and part time I will need to be in the field. What that means is a lot of the time, I will be in the home, hanging with your furry, feathered, or scaly baby, working on my laptop. During the times I need to work outside of the home, my 19 year old daughter (who has been doing Rover with me since she was 11) will give the best care in my place. I have a thriving Airbnb business in my home for over a decade, so I have a ton of experience and mindset on home-care: I treat other folks' pets and homes as well as I treat my own. About: I had a golden retriver for 15 years, he was very much loved and well taken care of. I currently have one small rescue dog who is really spoiled and is living his best life, and a puppy golden girl who loves to play and cuddle(they live at my parents house since I’m away for college). For all 3 of my dogs I potty trained them, went on walks with them, bathed them regularly and was/still am aware of their needs and wants. I am currently enrolled at UC Davis but I have availability to take doggies in afternoon walks or dog sit them at my house for the night! I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and am in search of dog walking, training, bathing, and pet sitting positions to help me pay off student loans. Thus, I have been involved in the husbandry of my own dogs, cats, and exotic animals the majority of my life!
