About: I have helped train many puppies. I love dogs of all breeds and have specifically worked with Great Danes. I have experience helping senior dogs and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am currently a full time student but am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings since I have a flexible class schedule. I am available for walks and feeding schedules, I have up to 5 hour breaks in between classes and can accommodate for specific needs. Since I live in a pet friendly apartment I do not have a yard but there is a park directly across from my complex and I live in a very walkable area. In my home pets are allowed on the couches and beds. I have one roommate, she is also pet friendly. Additionally my apartment is very cozy and spacious enough for zoomies. **My apartment does have stairs so if your dog has any health issues that make it difficult walking up stairs this may not be the best environment for your pet**

My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. About: I've assisted a vet with labors along with working at a dog resort with puppies and seniors including the proper care, naps, play times, etc. I am available any day of the week including weekends or holidays during the school year. “Kali has long worked with rescuing animals, including dogs and cats. Often the animals are hurt, sick and/or abused. She is specially skilled and sensitive to the ones frightened, and in emotional great need. A couple years ago, my youngest daughter found a terrified feral pregnant cat at a Fl rest stop. She wasn't trusting enough to be picked up, so she had to be trapped. Kali personally took on the difficult challenge to win her over. Over time, the cat let Kali touch, pet, brush and finally hold her. She was the only person that could until more recently. Kali opened up her heart to the cat, and the cat responded with love back to become her adoring shadow. Just a year ago, she took the challenge on with a fear aggressive momma and 2 pups. It took a couple weeks, but Kali was the first one who was able to touch, feed and hold her. That momma dog, in particular, was the harder one who didn't trust us, nor wanted us near her puppies. With persistence, she responded so well to Kali's efforts to show her kindness. It took more time, with Kali helping her to trust me, as well. Kali is honest, kind, and compassionate. Certainly any pup, or pet would be lucky to have Kali caring for them.”

“Hailey is Amazing with both of my dogs. They have very different personalities—one is super laid back and the other is your basic nutcase. But when she comes over to walk them, She commands both of their attention and really gets on their level. She is always on time and highly communicative. She even taught my youngest pup some leash manners. Seriously, this lady is great.”

“Bray has the best interactions with dogs I have ever seen. I have had two dogs that were very territorial to everyone else and would try and bite people, but when they met bray for the first time nothing happened at all. The reason why is because she has tactics to connect with any dog there is. I have seen her with dogs that have a history of biting or being aggressive to others, but when she arrives they act calm and collected. She is also very smart with the dogs with giving out commands. She makes a command to the dog over and over again until the dog gets it right. If you want someone that can bond with a dog immediately and take the best care of them, I would pick her over anyone else.”

“Gwen is great with my dogs! My little dog is a bit of a brat, to be honest. He's an older rescue and can be quite snippy. Gwen is great at being patient with him and respecting his boundaries to make for a positive interaction. We also have a german shepherd that can be a handful because of his size, anxiety, and shedding. He's also a rescue and can not be around new dogs -- especially on a walk. I'm grateful that Gwen understands and works with our dog's limitations to take him on walks by adjusting thebroute on the fly and wrangling our pup back on course. We've seen a lot of growth in Jack's anxiety because of positive interactions with guests (Rover walkers) -- He's still nervous, but not terrified of the doorbell ringing any more! Working with Gwen had been a win all around. Highly recommend.”
