About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! About: I have hands-on experience caring for animals and have genuine love for every pet. My goal is to make sure all pets feel safe and comfortable. I have two dogs of my own, and I treat every pet I care for or come in contact with like they are part of my family. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine as I have two dogs of my own. I am used to feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for pets. I enjoy spending time with animals and would be happy to include pet sitting and walks in my weekly routine. I care for pets by following their owners instructions and keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable. In a clients home, I respect their space and maintain the pets normal routine as much as possible. In my home and/or clients home I will make sure the pets have fresh water, food, exercise, playtime, rest time, and plenty of attention.

About: I have experience working in dog boarding and daycare caring for a wide variety of dogs. I also have experience as both a kennel technician and veterinary assistant caring for both dogs and cats. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and sizes as well as experience with senior pets and pets with specialized care such as diabetic cats. I also have a little experience with other types of pets but mostly just rabbits. I am a first year student at UC Davis. I am a first year veterinary student with a varying schedule. Though most days are 8-5 the longest with at least a 1 hr break for lunch with some days being shorter and some having the potential to be slightly longer. I am usually free on Saturdays and Sundays and am therefore very flexible those days and my schedule is totally open. I am open for overnight sitting, evening pet sitting, sitting for a few hours while you run errands or go on a date, etc! I have a wide variety of experience that allows me to cater to the needs of your pet. Whether that is taking them for long walks on the beach, giving your anxious pet cuddles and pets, bringing my dog to play with your dog(s) and keep them company, playing fishing with your cats, or whatever I need to do to keep your pets most happy, healthy and comfortable in their home.

About: I’m a pet owner myself, so I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I’m patient and really pay attention to each pet’s personality and routine. Whether they’re super playful, shy, cuddly, or prefer their own space, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, litter box cleaning, and lots of cuddles if they want them! I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m available anytime and any day during the summer. I have a flexible schedule, so I can spend plenty of time caring for your pets. For morning visits, please let me know in advance! Pet’s safety and emotions are my top priority. In a client’s home, I will follow the pet’s usual routine to keep them comfortable, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I clean up after them, make sure they have fresh water, and provide plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of the home space and always leave it as I found it. If pets are staying with me, they’ll have a safe, clean, and calm environment where they can relax, play, and feel comfortable.

About: Hi fellow dog lovers! I am a veterinary assistant for Banfield Pet Hospital looking to take care of your pet in my free time! Ever since moving away from home I have missed the companionship of a great dog and dog sitting is the perfect gig! I have 12+ years experience taking care of dogs and cats and it remains my passion till this day. Qualified to care for pets with all kinds of medical/special needs . I cant wait to meet your furry family member! I recently graduated so I have much more free time for pet care. If I’m working I will be busy from 7am-6pm but happy to do walks/feedings/check-ins on my lunch and before and after my shift. Otherwise on my day offs I am pretty open, working on applications for vet school and crafting or going for a jog. I cannot currently host for boarding at my home, however I have a lot of experience pet sitting at clients homes. I can work with anyone’s preferences, be that only going in for feedings/walks or being a homebody for most of the day for prolonged company. About: I've grown up and lived with dogs most of my life. The best part of visiting home is getting to see our long haired terrier and our chihuahua mix. I've dog and house sat multiple times for friends who live in Davis. It’s always been a great experience as I find walking and hanging out with dogs to be a good way of decompressing from classes. I currently have more flexibility in my academic schedule, so I'm open for short or long term pet and house sitting. If you think I may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out. I'm currently helping in a lab on UCD, but my timing is flexible. I can easily work pet and house sitting into my schedule. My current living situation doesn't allow for me to have pets. When it comes to caring for a pet in their home I would follow the existing routines and refer to how the owner cares for their pet. I am a firm believer that it's far less stressful for a dog or cat to be able to stay home while their owner is out of town.

About: I have cared for a wide range of animals since my childhood on a small family farm. I have bottle fed kittens to goats, trained puppies to ducks, and cared for little piglets to senior dogs. I also have some experience with medical procedures with dogs and cats, to farm animals. Experience with cats with diabetes, pets with blindness, deafness, and immobility. I enjoy caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and good care and enrichment is always my top priority! I like to check on my animals and animals I’m caring for a minimum of 3 times a day for 30 minutes each. With cats I like to spend time playing, setting up enrichment activities, and learning how they are most comfortable. With dogs I like to do a minimum of 3 walks a day followed by some of their favorite activities. I believe pets should be checked on morning, afternoon and evening at minimum. I like to follow the routine of the pets parents to a T so as to not disturb the pets while their families are gone. I think having a routine is important for a pet especially when their people/family are gone.

About: I have been a dog lover ever since I was young and I got my first dog when I was 7. I took care of him until he left me. I feel like all animals around me are my best friends. I also volunteered in a non governmental organization in the Philippines to help out with animals who are in need and needs love and attention. Interned in a pet clinic which taught me how to prepare their medicine and inject them in their IV lines If only I could adopt all those animals who need a home I would rush to any animal shelter and provide everything they need. I think that’s what makes me different from other sitters and walkers because in the future I want to be a veterinarian and save animals. It has been my dream to help these lovely creatures. I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant who works Monday to Friday. I have an hour lunch so if its close or they are staying with me, I can swing by and check in on them. During weekends, I am available. I provide a safe environment by dog/cat proofing my place. I am very particular about making sure they don’t get into absolutely anything. These pets are treated like my own. Under my watch, they are treated the best care they possibly can get.
