About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

About: I have always taken care of pets since I was little ranging from cats and dogs to reptiles to any pet not a person that needed to take care of that near me. I only have two in person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and other than that I am free no other job except school right now :) I have always taken care of my family’s pet, especially my sisters which her house consist of a golden retriever and a poodle and a Chihuahua. The poodle is very very old and she is an elderly dog, so she’s blind and has arthritis and going to deaf, so I was always used to cleaning up and guided her to the restroom or her food and still focusing on the other pets, giving everyone the proper love and care at the exact same time.

About: Extensive experience as a vet tech for over 5 years, experience raising future service dog puppies from 8 weeks old, currently a third year veterinary student, equipped to handle pet emergencies I am working 2 days a week in an emergency pet hospital so I have lots of time outside of those days to spend with your pets! I care for pets in a specialized manner to what works best for them-whether that be a high-energy dog that enjoys playing in the park and long walks or a senior citizen who enjoys a leisurely amble

About: What sets me apart is as a pre-vet student, my clinical experience working in a veterinary setting, where I assisted in vaccine clinics and gained hands-on exposure to animal handling and care. This experience taught me how to safely and calmly work with animals of different temperaments, including those who may be nervous or stressed. I also have over 10 years of experience with a variety of species including dogs, cats, cows, goats, pigs, chickens and birds. I am happy and open to take care of all animals. I’m attentive to detail and able to recognize changes in behavior, appetite, or energy that could indicate a problem. While I provide loving and reliable care, I also bring a level of awareness and responsibility that comes from working in a clinical environment. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Beyond that, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and make an effort to build trust and give them the attention and affection they need. Afterall, it's all I want to do as I pursue my dreams to becoming a Veterinarian :) I have a very flexible schedule. About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.

About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! Might as well do what I love and get payed for it. XD I have a calm smaller dog, and a cat who LOVES dogs (she’s strange I know). I live right next to a huge park and walking trail.

About: I raised my doggo teddy since he was 7 weeks old, he will be 5 in December of 2025 :) Sherpa was also a rather energetic senior, I fostered and took care of until he passed to doggy heaven. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, administer medication, and house their pets since I was a teen. I’m also experienced with caring for senior dogs and keeping up with playful puppies. In regards to medication, I have given dogs eye drops, inhalers, dealt with difficult doggos that don't even want to take medicine in pill pockets. I will be sure to give your dog medicine. On another note I will not be taking your dogs to dog parks anything can occur as there are dogs of various temperaments. Dogs will not be off-leash when being walked and while walking, I tend to avoid people or other dog interactions to maintain safety, regardless of how sweet or kind your dog or the other dogs are. Safety first always! :) Aside from that I will always throw frisbees, toys, and even tustle with overly energetic puppies/dogs in your home/backyard if thats how they like to have fun. A tired dog is a happy dog! I will likely be in the house most of the time if your dog has separation anxiety. At the present moment I have thankfully only 2 classes and 1 only class I am taking, so I would be returning within the house. Moreoever, as I am studying for the MCAT scary I prefer to be a recluse at the house with your pups or kitties of course. Yayyy :) Your dog will be cared for in a secure and welcoming environment. My fenced yard offers plenty of space for safe playtime, and I’m also located near several trails, perfect for outdoor walks and adventures. My two friendly dogs can provide companionship if your pup enjoys socializing, and if crating is part of their routine, I can accommodate that to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease.

About: I've cared for animals of all kinds including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, cows, goats, pigs etc. for 16 years. I have been with companies, vet clinics, and more working with animals as well as doing free lance work. I am passionate, reliable, hard working, and loving toward all animals. I am patient and have been trusted with people's pets for many years now to provide the best care as if they were my own! I am a very organized individual who likes to keep to a schedule! I attend UC Davis as a pre-vet student majoring in animal science so I am always involved with animals both academically and in the field. Once you book a date with me I will not forget it! I like to keep everything on my calendar, so pet care fits in free time between classes, on weekends, and especially on breaks from school! It is a break from the rigor of university to spend time with pets so when I say I give them the best care, I mean it! When a pup stays at my home I treat them as my own! When I stay at your home I will be sure to come in with a "bring in, bring out" policy. I will be there solely for your pets care, not to use your home for any other reason than to provide care for your loved ones.

About: I always wanted to have a dog but my current situation does not allow me to do so easily. Thanks to Rover so that I can play with your dog while you need someone to take him or her for a walk. : ) Um.... should I mention I'm currently a UC Davis student with no criminal record? Oh! And I personally have two cats. I am currently a student at UC Davis and usually free during early morning, lunch, or evenings. I can drop by multiple times a day. All fur babies need love and attention. Even though we don’t speak our pets’ languages, they can feel the love from us ❤️ it’s that simple

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!
