About: What really sets me apart is how much I truly care. I have two dogs of my own, a Pitbull/Great Dane mix and a German Shorthaired Pointer, so I know how much love, patience, and energy pets need. I also help care for my grandma, who has dementia, which has taught me to be extra gentle, attentive, and understanding. I bring that same kind of warmth and care to every pet I meet, treating them like family from the start. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for in my daily routine. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I love staying active, so getting outside for walks is something I look forward to, and I also enjoy spending quiet time with pets who simply want company. I make it a priority to be dependable, follow each pet's routine closely, and provide regular updates so owners can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. I do not offer care for pets inside of my home. It does not work with the apartment that I currently live in. Thank you for your understanding.

About: I grew up around dogs of all kinds, from couch-potato rescues to high-energy working breed. I love seeing all the ways that a dog's personality manifests when they're given the love, structure, and attention they need to thrive! Whether you have a furry friend who needs regular long walks or just lots of attention, I am looking forward to helping you give your pup the life they deserve. I'm currently doing remote work with flexible scheduling, so my hours are available to you whenever you need! With the exception of Thursdays, I am available weekdays and weekends, morning or afternoon or evenings. Let me know how I can help! Building trust through treats and positive reinforcement allows us to interact in a low-stress environment and lets me provide them with the best care possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

About: I do not have a lot of dog walking experience outside of my own dog, but I have walked dogs before. I am currently volunteer at a pet rescue and mostly with cats but have walked dogs for a few shifts. I do have a small dog at home that I care for as well. I have cared for a friends Guinea pig, and dog sat for my neighbor when I was younger. I may work with cats more often but I absolutely still love being with dogs and caring for them! I work part time, but have plenty of time on the weekdays after noon to go for walks which I love doing, especially with pets 🫶🏻 My backyard is small but still good enough for my dog to get exercise because when I’m outside with him I spend a lot of time there. I love walking and go for long walks with my dog as well. It will be the same with other pets I care for, I will spend as much time as I can with them and get them tired out.

About: I raised my doggo teddy since he was 7 weeks old, he will be 5 in December of 2025 :) Sherpa was also a rather energetic senior, I fostered and took care of until he passed to doggy heaven. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, administer medication, and house their pets since I was a teen. I’m also experienced with caring for senior dogs and keeping up with playful puppies. In regards to medication, I have given dogs eye drops, inhalers, dealt with difficult doggos that don't even want to take medicine in pill pockets. I will be sure to give your dog medicine. On another note I will not be taking your dogs to dog parks anything can occur as there are dogs of various temperaments. Dogs will not be off-leash when being walked and while walking, I tend to avoid people or other dog interactions to maintain safety, regardless of how sweet or kind your dog or the other dogs are. Safety first always! :) Aside from that I will always throw frisbees, toys, and even tustle with overly energetic puppies/dogs in your home/backyard if thats how they like to have fun. A tired dog is a happy dog! I will likely be in the house most of the time if your dog has separation anxiety. At the present moment I have thankfully only 2 classes and 1 only class I am taking, so I would be returning within the house. Moreoever, as I am studying for the MCAT scary I prefer to be a recluse at the house with your pups or kitties of course. Yayyy :) Your dog will be cared for in a secure and welcoming environment. My fenced yard offers plenty of space for safe playtime, and I’m also located near several trails, perfect for outdoor walks and adventures. My two friendly dogs can provide companionship if your pup enjoys socializing, and if crating is part of their routine, I can accommodate that to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease.

About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a full time student at UC Davis but I have a schedule that can accommodate a lot of needs. The only thing I have no power over is when I have my finals but I will be on top of my calendar and availability I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, I helped care for my family’s Golden Retriever, which gave me experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and providing daily care. I currently own a cat of my own, so I am very familiar with feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel comfortable and loved. I am comfortable with all aspects of pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, giving updates to owners, and following specific care instructions. I understand that every pet has unique needs and I always strive to provide a safe, reliable, and caring experience. I currently work part-time at an ice cream shop, but I have flexible availability throughout the week. I am generally more available during the daytime on weekdays and can provide drop-in visits on both weekdays and weekends. I always communicate my availability in advance and only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, ensuring your pet receives reliable and attentive care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special care needs. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of attention and playtime. I treat every home with respect and provide photo and message updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pet.

About: I had a golden retriver for 15 years, he was very much loved and well taken care of. I currently have one small rescue dog who is really spoiled and is living his best life, and a puppy golden girl who loves to play and cuddle(they live at my parents house since I’m away for college). For all 3 of my dogs I potty trained them, went on walks with them, bathed them regularly and was/still am aware of their needs and wants. I am currently enrolled at UC Davis but I have availability to take doggies in afternoon walks or dog sit them at my house for the night! I am currently living in a pet friendly apartment, pets would be allowed on my couch and bed. I would also clean them regularly and make sure they get enough treats!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young and also have had lots of experience with dogs as a veterinary assistant at the vet hospital I work at! I’ve worked with everything from puppies to seniors. I’m a sucker for large dogs and I’m very confident handling them! I’m a full time at UC Davis but have lots of time between classes! Be sure to check my schedule to see what times I’m available on different days. I live in an apartment but I live close by to many parks and trails for taking out your pet to go potty, go on walks, or play. I have a large dog who is great with other dogs.

About: I grew up around dogs of all sizes and ages, but in 6th grade I finally got my own puppy! I was responsible for crate training, potty training, and all of her other needs. My “puppy” is 9 years old now, and she has been loved her entire life. I am a current college student enjoying the summer break. I am available 7 days a week, with only a few hours of the week dedicated to my part time job, leaving plenty of time to check-in, play, or walk your fur baby! I will follow any guidelines you have for your dog! I am experienced with crate training, walking, playing, etc. I am also willing to follow/learn any medical or dietary needs your pet has to ensure their wellbeing is the top priority.

About: I have three cats and one dog of my own! I’m used to all and any antics they can get up to. I’ve got a crazy routine for my pets, so no requests are too much for me :) Typically I am free in the morning or afternoon most days. My weekends are usually free with a usual trip to the Saturday farmers market when it happens. I regularly take care of my cats which includes feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, cleaning their areas, brushing them, and generally heeding their every need. I like to make enrichment toys using cardboard boxes/paper towel tubes or by teaching them tricks like spin and high five! When taking dogs out, I try to make sure to wipe their paws down with a wet paper towel prior to entering the house, especially after going in more muddy areas. I like going at the dogs pace on walks whether that be sniffing around a bunch or taking a jog around the neighborhood until they get tired! I used to have a cat that required medication, so I’m familiar with giving pills and liquid meds to cats.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong, hands-on experience with animals in both multi-pet and individual home environments. Growing up in a household with nine cats gave me a strong understanding of different feline personalities, routines, and behaviors. I currently care for my own 3-year-old cat, which has further deepened my experience with daily care, health awareness, and enrichment. In addition to cat care, I also have experience with dogs through pet sitting. As a teenager, I regularly watched my neighbor’s dogs, and I have also pet sat and house sat for family members, caring for both cats and dogs. I’ve also provided overnight care, which taught me how to maintain routines, ensure comfort through the night, and handle responsibilities independently while owners are away. I’m especially attentive to each animal’s unique personality and needs, whether they’re shy, energetic, independent, or social. I prioritize keeping their routines consistent, maintaining clean and comfortable environments, and making sure they feel safe and secure while their owners are gone. I’m also highly communicative and provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to create a calm, stress-free experience for both pets and owners, treating every animal as if they were my own. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent care throughout the week. During my summer session, I’m available after 2:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, before noon and after 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays, 11:45 AM–3:00 PM and after 6:00 PM on Thursdays, and I have full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. This flexibility allows me to accommodate morning, midday, evening, and overnight care as needed. I am also available and willing to stay overnight when needed to ensure pets are comfortable and cared for at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize following all instructions closely to maintain their normal routine and comfort. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes or outdoor breaks, and receive attention, play, and care based on their needs.
