4. Sierra C.
About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from a 100-pound Bernese Mountain Dog puppy to a toy-sized Cavapoo and everything in between! By living in a house with a large, fenced yard we have enough space to open our home to others who need help watching their beloved pups! We currently have 2 friendly, fun-loving dogs, Beau (Australian Shepard) and Ginny (Berner). We take our dogs on long walks around the neighborhood daily, as well as visit the Chatfield dog park 15 minutes from our house bi-weekly. Working from home full-time, allows me to provide plenty of time to care for our furry friends and yours! I am available every day of the week, including weekends, so whatever your pet care needs, we're able to help! Also, note that I do not leave the dogs unattended. If there is a dog(s) being boarded with us, there will be a person at the house at all times to ensure immediate attention and care. I care deeply about our dogs' physical well-being. I provide daily stimulation, from walks to one-on-one scheduled time with each dog depending on their needs. I truly believe that furry friends are a part of the family and will treat your dogs with the same level of care that I do my own.

5. Holly K.

“Holly came on short notice to do a 30 minute walk and to feed Anika. It put my mind at ease to know she received good care!”

6. Esmerilda R.

“Esmerilda is an absolutely fantastic person and cares immensely for our dog. She has been our weekly dog walker for a little over 6 months--Our dog is a rescue and was quite difficult in the beginning, but Esmerilda has done a lot to help train and rehabilitate her. She also has done house sitting for us. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs.”

7. Suhani M.

“Thank you for taking care of our dog. Suhani was on time for walking our pet and kept us informed. Clear and prompt communication from her.”

8. Juliana Y.

“Juliana took my dog Ponyo on a walk this day! I really needed the help because I had exams coming up, but also felt bad because I couldn't walk my dog. She was really helpful! Ponyo had an issue with his paw, but she brought him back right away and told me about it! She was really helpful and I'm glad that she told me right away on his walk! Thanks again!”

9. Bray K.
“Bray has the best interactions with dogs I have ever seen. I have had two dogs that were very territorial to everyone else and would try and bite people, but when they met bray for the first time nothing happened at all. The reason why is because she has tactics to connect with any dog there is. I have seen her with dogs that have a history of biting or being aggressive to others, but when she arrives they act calm and collected. She is also very smart with the dogs with giving out commands. She makes a command to the dog over and over again until the dog gets it right. If you want someone that can bond with a dog immediately and take the best care of them, I would pick her over anyone else.”

10. Vita Q.

“Vita helped us 5 days for two doggies walking. She is responsible and professional, my dogs were well taken care of. I would highly recommend her.”

11. Lucia C.

“Lucia was very dependable, great with the dogs, and pleasant to speak with when picking up and dropping them off. Would highly recommend Lucia for dog walking.”

12. Kali Ane B.
“Kali has long worked with rescuing animals, including dogs and cats. Often the animals are hurt, sick and/or abused. She is specially skilled and sensitive to the ones frightened, and in emotional great need. A couple years ago, my youngest daughter found a terrified feral pregnant cat at a Fl rest stop. She wasn't trusting enough to be picked up, so she had to be trapped. Kali personally took on the difficult challenge to win her over. Over time, the cat let Kali touch, pet, brush and finally hold her. She was the only person that could until more recently. Kali opened up her heart to the cat, and the cat responded with love back to become her adoring shadow. Just a year ago, she took the challenge on with a fear aggressive momma and 2 pups. It took a couple weeks, but Kali was the first one who was able to touch, feed and hold her. That momma dog, in particular, was the harder one who didn't trust us, nor wanted us near her puppies. With persistence, she responded so well to Kali's efforts to show her kindness. It took more time, with Kali helping her to trust me, as well. Kali is honest, kind, and compassionate. Certainly any pup, or pet would be lucky to have Kali caring for them.”

13. Paige J.
About: I raised a beagle and lab at my home in Southern California, and have helped pet-sit my family/friends' pets my entire life. I am a huge dog lover, and miss my dogs every day. In addition, I have volunteered at the Kauai Humane Society where I take dogs on day-long field trips. I am able to take care of puppies, dogs healing from medical procedures (my lab tore her ACL recently), and senior dogs. I am currently enrolled at UC Davis, but am only taking 12 units. I am available Monday-Friday before 10am (for overnight sitting) and after 2:00pm, and completely available on weekends. I have a fully enclosed home with 2 other housemates who love dogs and have multiple dogs at home. Additionally, I have a fully enclosed backyard, and am on a residential street. I have a car, so am able to drop off and pick up as well.

14. Angel L.
“Angel is dependable and reliant. She is the type of person to pour all her care and put others before herself, and she loves dogs! We’d always go to dog parks, and unfortunately only see other peoples’ dogs from a distance. We no longer have dogs in our apartment due to their old age and are planning to get one in the future, but as of now she is more than happy to take care of many other puppers out there even if it is an hour of her day.”

15. Ximena P.
“Ximena has a connection with animals that you can't find in most people. She will always be the first one to spot a dog on the street, and you'll know you can trust her with any animal around. Ximena has a very calming, sweet, and loving personality that will be perfect for dogs, and I can bet she'll build a connection with each one she meets. She will be the perfect pet caregiver.”

16. Kendall D.
About: I’ve had at least one dog in my household since the age of 5. I’ve handled different kinds of dog personalities, breeds, and sizes. Calm, reactive, old, young - I’ve seen it all! I’m currently the mom of 2 pit-mix rescues who are spoiled beyond belief. I regularly pet sit for friends, so I’m joining Rover to help out more people! I work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch break. I work remotely twice a week and am in Woodland the other 3 days. I have the flexibility to do check-ins and short walks on my hour lunch break, and more during my remote work days and weekends. In my home, my 2 medium sized dogs are crate trained and get 2 walks per day. We live in an apartment so I am used to having to take them out to the bathroom. They are fed twice per day, 1 hour after returning from a walk. I am very aware of the risks of bloat in large breeds, so I always look out for that! When I dogsit for friends and family, I’ve seen varying needs depending on the dog’s personality. I understand dog reactivity and am sensitive towards the needs of each individual pup.

17. Sydney S.

“Sydney took great care of Sookie! She was super responsive and communicative leading up to the walk and followed Sookie's care instructions perfectly.”

18. Rosalii S.
About: Hello, I have 3 years of experience as veterinary assistant, currently working in a vet clinic in Dixon. I have had pets since I can remember. I currently have 2 cats and 2 chihuahuas, one which I have had since I was 10. Growing up my pets have always been considered family. I understand the value pets have to families they bring us together and always show us unconditional love. I am currently working part time and attending college soon but thankfully I am great with time management. I start my day off early to ensure I use my free time wisely. With my experience in the veterinary field I have become confident with understanding pets body language and barriers. I can easily tell when a pet is uncomfortable and how to go about the situation. I think this is very important since I am aware of how much damage, mentally and physically, a stressful situation can be for a pet. Additionally, I understand the importance of routines for example med administration and feeding.

19. Gabriella B.
“Gabi has always had a special bond with dogs and animals in general. She is so caring, responsible, and reliable! Furthermore, she loves going on walks, and loves walking dogs even more!”

20. kasey l.
