About: We’re experienced Rover users ourselves, so we understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet. After recently losing our German Shepherd, Ace, due to old age, we’ve been missing the joy of having more dogs around, and our lab, Indie, would love a playmate. We have a home with a secure yard and are excited to offer a safe, loving environment for dogs while their owners travel or need extra support. We treat every dog like family, with plenty of attention, playtime, and care tailored to their needs. Whether your pup is energetic or prefers a slower pace, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and at home. For everyone’s safety and happiness, dogs must get along well with Indie, and we require a meet-and-greet before booking. I am a nurse in Davis and my wife works from home which allows for flexibility throughout the day. We stay pretty scheduled but have the availability to cater to our dogs needs! We have a fully fenced yard with a friendly lab. We love being outside and going for walks in west Davis. Since we used to have 2 dogs we are familiar with leash safety and navigating other dogs on walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

About: I am currently a student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to become a vet! I have had pets at home since elementary school including dogs, cats, and chickens. At home I play an integral role caring for each of my pets. My love for animals extends outside of the house as I look to work with animals professionally as a veterinarian. I have 8 years of experience volunteering and working at veterinary clinics. Through my work, I have learned to handle all kinds of breeds and temperaments. I am so excited to work with your pets and provide incredible service. Shoot me a message with any questions or requests and I will be sure to respond day-of. I am on summer break from vet school and will have openings most days at various times to care for all your dog's and/or cat's needs. About: I had a golden retriver for 15 years, he was very much loved and well taken care of. I currently have one small rescue dog who is really spoiled and is living his best life, and a puppy golden girl who loves to play and cuddle(they live at my parents house since I’m away for college). For all 3 of my dogs I potty trained them, went on walks with them, bathed them regularly and was/still am aware of their needs and wants. I am currently enrolled at UC Davis but I have availability to take doggies in afternoon walks or dog sit them at my house for the night! I am currently living in a pet friendly apartment, pets would be allowed on my couch and bed. I would also clean them regularly and make sure they get enough treats!

About: I’ve taken care of various dogs and cats for four years and have a labradoodle of my own! <3 I take their care very seriously, making sure they have everything they need to stay happy and healthy! I’m currently a college student, but my schedule is flexible so I’m available for dog walks during the weekdays and to be there overnight for your pets over the weekend! <3 I adjust to every client’s home differently. If you have a cat I will keep him/her safely inside and if you have a dog I will engage with him/her mainly outside! Dogs need their vitamin-D! Overall however you would like your pet to be managed I will do so soundly.

About: Hello, my name is Esmerilda. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and am in search of dog walking, training, bathing, and pet sitting positions to help me pay off student loans. Aspiring veterinarians usually know they have a special gift with animals as a child, as I discovered at the age of 7. Thus, I have been involved in the husbandry of my own dogs, cats, and exotic animals the majority of my life! Due to my extensive experience as a lab animal technician, kennel attendant, and shelter volunteer, I have 6 years of professional experience in animal husbandry. During the year of the notorious Camp Fire, I worked as a veterinary assistant at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital to 4th year veterinary students with disabilities during their clinical year. As their "right hand woman", I provided various accommodations for physical and intellectual limitations in order to facilitate their success. I was directly involved with the treatment of animal patients in ophthalmology, cardiology, community practice, community surgery, companion avian and pet exotics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, shelter medicine & surgery, anesthesia, behavior, and nutrition. For several years, I also gained technical skills as a veterinary assistant in small veterinary hospitals and for the nonprofit Mercer Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless. Thus, I am exceptionally knowledgeable in the field of veterinary medicine. At the client's request, I also offer one on one obedience training on walks, baths, nail trimming, syringe feeding, and transportation to veterinary appointments for an additional charge (not listed). About: For years I’ve been caring for animals as if they were my own. With my sister being a dog trainer, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and encouragement to go into this business. I’m currently working as a part-time server with time available on Wednesdays and Thursdays as of now for dog walking and/or pet care. I also have a large window for morning walks Monday-Friday. I typically like to get a written checklist of the routine or discuss routines prior to the day(s) requested. I do not offer in home boarding until further notice.
