About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with about five years of hands-on pet sitting experience. Growing up around animals has given me a natural comfort with them, and over the years I've cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Some of the breeds I've looked after include Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Beagles, Corgis, and plenty of wonderful mixed breeds. I've also cared for cats here and there—and while I'm slightly allergic, that has never stopped me from giving them the love and attention they deserve. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for nine pets at the same time alongside my girlfriend: two cats, three adult rescue dogs, and four brand-new puppies. It definitely kept us busy, but it reinforced how much I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure each one receives the care, patience, and attention they need. I know how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I recently graduated from UC Davis and am currently in an in-between stage before starting the next chapter of my career. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or your cat prefers a calm companion, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I currently live in an apartment complex in Davis with no fenced in yard but a lot of great walking paths nearby as well as a big park for some running around if they want to play some ball! There are also no other pets in the home.

About: Hello, my name is Esmerilda. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and am in search of dog walking, training, bathing, and pet sitting positions to help me pay off student loans. Aspiring veterinarians usually know they have a special gift with animals as a child, as I discovered at the age of 7. Thus, I have been involved in the husbandry of my own dogs, cats, and exotic animals the majority of my life! Due to my extensive experience as a lab animal technician, kennel attendant, and shelter volunteer, I have 6 years of professional experience in animal husbandry. During the year of the notorious Camp Fire, I worked as a veterinary assistant at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital to 4th year veterinary students with disabilities during their clinical year. As their "right hand woman", I provided various accommodations for physical and intellectual limitations in order to facilitate their success. I was directly involved with the treatment of animal patients in ophthalmology, cardiology, community practice, community surgery, companion avian and pet exotics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, shelter medicine & surgery, anesthesia, behavior, and nutrition. For several years, I also gained technical skills as a veterinary assistant in small veterinary hospitals and for the nonprofit Mercer Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless. Thus, I am exceptionally knowledgeable in the field of veterinary medicine. At the client's request, I also offer one on one obedience training on walks, baths, nail trimming, syringe feeding, and transportation to veterinary appointments for an additional charge (not listed). I have committed my 'gap year' before veterinary school to providing my sevices on Rover- ensuring your pet receives the highest quality of care and love while you are away. I work full time an animal caretaker unless my calendar is marked as I'm unavailable because I scheduled a vacation to combat caretaker fatigue, I am available, 24 (like Kobe) hours , 7 days a week , rain and shine ! 🌞 I am an observant, vigilant pet owner myself and strive to go above and beyond in maintaining a secure and clean environment for your animal(s) as well. I have experience adhering to strict animal protocols within both veterinary hospital and laboratory settings, thus applying these skills as your animal caretake/technician within your home. Please notify me if your pet is an escape artist, uses a crate, what your boundaries are (i.e. furniture or specific areas off-limits), if your pet uses an e-collar or GPS collar, and the like! As always, your dog gets my full attention—walks are always private and limited to dogs from the same household.

About: I have been around pets ever since I can remember and probably had around 10 in my life so far. I’ll be attentive, caring and sweet with your little friends, bringing them the comfort and calm they need when you’re not home ❤️ I’m currently a student at UC Davis with a part-time job, so I will be available for pet sitting every other day normally after 12pm (noon) I can easily find a space in your home where the pet feels more at comfort and I’ll act quickly and proactively when I notice something is needed.

About: For years I’ve been caring for animals as if they were my own. With my sister being a dog trainer, I’ve gained plenty of knowledge and encouragement to go into this business. I’m currently working as a part-time server with time available on Wednesdays and Thursdays as of now for dog walking and/or pet care. I also have a large window for morning walks Monday-Friday. I typically like to get a written checklist of the routine or discuss routines prior to the day(s) requested. I do not offer in home boarding until further notice.
