About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.

She is an amazing pet sitter! She is great with my dog, is very reliable, and I always know that my dog is safe with her and having fun! She walks my dog, throws the ball for her and lets her get energy out and use the bathroom while I’m at work and I always know she’s in good hands. She’s great at communication and is really flexible about what time she comes over. I highly recommend her!!

About: What sets me apart is as a pre-vet student, my clinical experience working in a veterinary setting, where I assisted in vaccine clinics and gained hands-on exposure to animal handling and care. This experience taught me how to safely and calmly work with animals of different temperaments, including those who may be nervous or stressed. I also have over 10 years of experience with a variety of species including dogs, cats, cows, goats, pigs, chickens and birds. I am happy and open to take care of all animals. I’m attentive to detail and able to recognize changes in behavior, appetite, or energy that could indicate a problem. While I provide loving and reliable care, I also bring a level of awareness and responsibility that comes from working in a clinical environment. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Beyond that, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and make an effort to build trust and give them the attention and affection they need. Afterall, it's all I want to do as I pursue my dreams to becoming a Veterinarian :) I have a very flexible schedule. I make sure to plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for so they receive plenty of time, attention, and exercise. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions to maintain their normal routine, environment, and feeding schedule to reduce stress. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I closely supervise pets during walks and playtime. I create a calm, clean, and safe environment and pay close attention to behavior or any signs of discomfort. With my background in animal science and clinical settings, I am detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on making sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! Might as well do what I love and get payed for it. XD I have a calm smaller dog, and a cat who LOVES dogs (she’s strange I know). I live right next to a huge park and walking trail.

About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life and have recently worked with a licensed pet sitting company here in Davis as well, making me background check approved and certified to care for your pets! As a sitter/caregiver you can expect good communication, a journal update, and adorable pictures with every visit (I’ve been told I should be a pet photographer by some clients!). I understand the significance pets have as part of the family and would love to provide the care that you are looking for your sweet angel baby. I love going on runs, so if your dog needs some high level exercise or just a walk, I am the perfect fit! I have experience with puppies, older dogs/cats, medicated animals, reactive animals, and anxious ones too. I understand the time, love, and gentleness required to gain trust with animals and am very much so able to support your pet and their unique needs in order to do so. I worked as a kennel technician at a vet clinic for 3 years which gave me the skills to administer oral meds as well as give injections (such as insulin..). I also have experience with training dogs (young and old) and am happy to support your pup in building new habits. In my free time I enjoy drawing, hiking, car-camping, beach days, running, and hanging out at home with the critters of “Jenny’s Jungle”. My cohort of rescue animals include a pittie (Thor), a cattle dog mix (Bingo), a very social one-eyed orange cat (Cheeto Puff), a red tailed boa (Aziti), and a ball python (Noodle). I completed a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science then a masters and PhD in Animal Biology at the University of California – Davis. As an Animal Scientist, and animal lover, I am committed to advocating for high standards of animal stewardship in both my personal and professional life and look forward to the opportunity to care for your pets too, big and small!  Along with being great with dogs I am also great with people and would love to meet you! Thank you for your time reading my bio!

About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to welcome any pets in my house. I have fur babies of my own that I do not wish to upset their home life.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

About: I grew up around dogs of all kinds, from couch-potato rescues to high-energy working breed. I love seeing all the ways that a dog's personality manifests when they're given the love, structure, and attention they need to thrive! Whether you have a furry friend who needs regular long walks or just lots of attention, I am looking forward to helping you give your pup the life they deserve. I'm currently doing remote work with flexible scheduling, so my hours are available to you whenever you need! With the exception of Thursdays, I am available weekdays and weekends, morning or afternoon or evenings. Let me know how I can help! I always aim to give your pets plenty of time and space to acclimate to a new person in their home! Building trust through treats and positive reinforcement allows us to interact in a low-stress environment and lets me provide them with the best care possible.

About: A former UC Davis graduate. I’ve taken care of dogs all my life. I’m a dependable and attentive pet sitter who focuses on creating a calm, low-stress experience tailored to each animal’s personality and routine. I’m especially skilled at reading behavior cues, helping shy or anxious pets feel comfortable, and maintaining consistency with feeding, cleaning, and enrichment. My background in structured, fast-paced environments has made me highly organized and reliable, so pet owners can trust that every detail will be handled with care and responsibility I’m currently free during the work week most times of the day. I also have availability on weekends on a need to need basis. I’m ready and willing to spend as much time as your pets need. I wouldn’t be able to take care of pets in my own home but can do whatever is needed in their homes. I am good at providing structured resting time as well as play and can provide support with any trailing being done in the home

About: I raised my doggo teddy since he was 7 weeks old, he will be 5 in December of 2025 :) Sherpa was also a rather energetic senior, I fostered and took care of until he passed to doggy heaven. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, administer medication, and house their pets since I was a teen. I’m also experienced with caring for senior dogs and keeping up with playful puppies. In regards to medication, I have given dogs eye drops, inhalers, dealt with difficult doggos that don't even want to take medicine in pill pockets. I will be sure to give your dog medicine. On another note I will not be taking your dogs to dog parks anything can occur as there are dogs of various temperaments. Dogs will not be off-leash when being walked and while walking, I tend to avoid people or other dog interactions to maintain safety, regardless of how sweet or kind your dog or the other dogs are. Safety first always! :) Aside from that I will always throw frisbees, toys, and even tustle with overly energetic puppies/dogs in your home/backyard if thats how they like to have fun. A tired dog is a happy dog! I will likely be in the house most of the time if your dog has separation anxiety. At the present moment I have thankfully only 2 classes and 1 only class I am taking, so I would be returning within the house. Moreoever, as I am studying for the MCAT scary I prefer to be a recluse at the house with your pups or kitties of course. Yayyy :) Your dog will be cared for in a secure and welcoming environment. My fenced yard offers plenty of space for safe playtime, and I’m also located near several trails, perfect for outdoor walks and adventures. My two friendly dogs can provide companionship if your pup enjoys socializing, and if crating is part of their routine, I can accommodate that to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease.
