About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life and have recently worked with a licensed pet sitting company here in Davis as well, making me background check approved and certified to care for your pets! As a sitter/caregiver you can expect good communication, a journal update, and adorable pictures with every visit (I’ve been told I should be a pet photographer by some clients!). I understand the significance pets have as part of the family and would love to provide the care that you are looking for your sweet angel baby. I love going on runs, so if your dog needs some high level exercise or just a walk, I am the perfect fit! I have experience with puppies, older dogs/cats, medicated animals, reactive animals, and anxious ones too. I understand the time, love, and gentleness required to gain trust with animals and am very much so able to support your pet and their unique needs in order to do so. I worked as a kennel technician at a vet clinic for 3 years which gave me the skills to administer oral meds as well as give injections (such as insulin..). I also have experience with training dogs (young and old) and am happy to support your pup in building new habits. In my free time I enjoy drawing, hiking, car-camping, beach days, running, and hanging out at home with the critters of “Jenny’s Jungle”. My cohort of rescue animals include a pittie (Thor), a cattle dog mix (Bingo), a very social one-eyed orange cat (Cheeto Puff), a red tailed boa (Aziti), and a ball python (Noodle). I completed a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science then a masters and PhD in Animal Biology at the University of California – Davis. As an Animal Scientist, and animal lover, I am committed to advocating for high standards of animal stewardship in both my personal and professional life and look forward to the opportunity to care for your pets too, big and small!  Along with being great with dogs I am also great with people and would love to meet you! About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). I work from home most of the week, so I have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of other working professionals that are looking for a reliable, passionate pet sitter to take their fur babies on walks (or runs) while keeping them within their familiar environment. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to welcome any pets in my house. I have fur babies of my own that I do not wish to upset their home life.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

About: **I don't charge for additional pets!! I’ve always been an animal enthusiast growing up in the country I did whatever I could to be around animals constantly. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! I can also do breakfast drop-ins during the week between 5:00-5:30 AM, or earlier if need be. I'm open and available most weekends for all pet care, I keep my schedule updated 3 months out! If you want to book further than 3 months just send me a message and I'm happy to work with you! My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe. Each visit, walk, or stay is individual and entirely customizable for your pet. To ensure your pet receives the best care I require an initial meet and greet, or phone call so we can discuss what the ideal care looks like. I prioritize customizable care, communication, and enrichment to make sure your pet has the best 'staycation' ever!
