“Audrey did an awesome job watching my cats, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. My cats loved Audrey back, as evidenced by pics of them crawling all over Audrey, lol! The litter box was clean, and they were fed and happy when I got home too, just like I was hoping. Audrey was kind and pleasant to be in contact with.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.
About: I’ve grown up with lots of pets and currently have four cats and a dog at home, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. As a UC Davis student, I have the flexibility to spend quality time with pets and give them the attention they need. I love spending time with animals of any age and make sure to follow their routines and any special instructions, so they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Caring for animals is something I’m passionate about, and I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive care every time. I also think that spending time caring for animals is a great way for me, as a college student, to get out of my apartment and do something healthy and fulfilling. I’m a UC Davis student working part-time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m usually available most evenings and weekends, and I also have gaps during the day when I can stop by to hang out with your pets. I like to make sure pets get plenty of attention and playtime, and I’m happy to work around your schedule to help however I can. I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I follow any instructions you give me and keep a close eye on your pets so they’re happy and relaxed. Having grown up with lots of animals, I know how important it is to create a clean, calm space where pets feel at ease. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel cared for and comfortable.
“Wenchi did a great job walking Rio for the first time. He isn't used to strangers or being left alone for a long time. Wenchi was very patient and kind in coaxing him out of the house for his walk. I loved the communication with her and the photos which gave me assurance that he wasn't unusually stressed with this situation. I would definitely use her again to walk Rio.”

I’m always happy to tailor my approach so your pet gets the exact care, attention, and routine they’re used to. About: What sets me apart is as a pre-vet student, my clinical experience working in a veterinary setting, where I assisted in vaccine clinics and gained hands-on exposure to animal handling and care. This experience taught me how to safely and calmly work with animals of different temperaments, including those who may be nervous or stressed. I also have over 10 years of experience with a variety of species including dogs, cats, cows, goats, pigs, chickens and birds. I am happy and open to take care of all animals. I’m attentive to detail and able to recognize changes in behavior, appetite, or energy that could indicate a problem. While I provide loving and reliable care, I also bring a level of awareness and responsibility that comes from working in a clinical environment. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Beyond that, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and make an effort to build trust and give them the attention and affection they need. Afterall, it's all I want to do as I pursue my dreams to becoming a Veterinarian :) I have a very flexible schedule. I make sure to plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for so they receive plenty of time, attention, and exercise. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions to maintain their normal routine, environment, and feeding schedule to reduce stress. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I closely supervise pets during walks and playtime. I create a calm, clean, and safe environment and pay close attention to behavior or any signs of discomfort. With my background in animal science and clinical settings, I am detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on making sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and at ease while you’re away.
About: I am an undergraduate student pursuing the prevet route so learning about and caring for animals are a daily part of my life. I have minor experience with clicker training puppies and have also cared for dogs of various ages. I also regularly volunteer at the local animal shelter, allowing me to work with a variety of different breeds! I am a student so I sometimes have a few hours break in between my classes or after my classes that allow me to stop by for drop in visits and walks. I am also available over the weekends for overnight boarding! I always check to see if there is any medications or health concerns with the pets that need my attention. Additionally, I like to make sure that water is always readily available. The diet depends for the pet but I wanna make sure the animal is at a healthy weight with proper nutrition to ensure their long term health. I like to take the dogs out on walks if possible so that they have the opportunity to get some exercise in.
About: Nothing makes me happier than meeting new dogs and cats! I always feel strong bonds towards new animals and I think I understand and respect animals boundaries well. I’ve taken care of many neighbors and friends animals and I always love doing it! I just moved home after completing my MSc in the UK! I would love to fill my schedule more by meeting and taking care of new dogs and cats! I am very patient with animals and I am easily flexible with needs of different breeds of either cats or dogs! I’m easy to contact and whatever is needed, I will accommodate to!
“Our two cats are usually afraid of everybody, but warmed up to Cheyenne right away! We were out of town for an extended trip, and it was great knowing they were in good hands. Communication was great and we loved seeing the daily photos. We highly recommend!”

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

About: About 4 years ago, a pup came into my home unexpectedly. My parents were not very fond of her, so I was her main caregiver. At the time, I was employed at Subway, so I spent my paychecks on making sure she was comfortable, healthy, clean, and safe. I was in charge of feeding, bathing, grooming, walking, and all of the playing. I am currently a student at UC Davis. My classes tend to be in the morning, so my evenings and weekends are all reserved for pet care. I live in a dog-friendly community, where there are plenty of lawns around the property for your pups to go potty, as well as nearby parks we can visit on our walks.
“Kira exceeded my expectations. She did an amazing job taking care of my dogs and Koi fish. One of my dog’s is afraid of people and she knew actually how to gain his trust. By the end of her visits, he really felt comfortable with her. I highly recommend Kira. She is dependable, loving and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dogs with anxieties. Plus she took away all my stress leaving my animals with someone who I just met. She was always available via text and sent lots of wonderful pictures. Now I can go away and have peace of mind that she will take care of everyone like they were her own.”

About: A former UC Davis graduate. I’ve taken care of dogs all my life. I’m a dependable and attentive pet sitter who focuses on creating a calm, low-stress experience tailored to each animal’s personality and routine. I’m especially skilled at reading behavior cues, helping shy or anxious pets feel comfortable, and maintaining consistency with feeding, cleaning, and enrichment. My background in structured, fast-paced environments has made me highly organized and reliable, so pet owners can trust that every detail will be handled with care and responsibility I’m currently free during the work week most times of the day. I also have availability on weekends on a need to need basis. I’m ready and willing to spend as much time as your pets need. I wouldn’t be able to take care of pets in my own home but can do whatever is needed in their homes. I am good at providing structured resting time as well as play and can provide support with any trailing being done in the home
About: I've owned multiple dogs from seniors to puppies and I will treat your pet with the same care I treat my own. At my house they will be able to play and relax to their heart's content. Aggie Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ally is a deeply caring, conscious person. My puppy and I are so grateful to have found her on Rover! I have a rambunctious 11-week-old puppy who requires constant supervision. Ally made sure he was safe and cared for! I received pictures on Louie sleeping in her lap and enjoying the garden, which delighted me. No hesitation on giving Ally five stars!!

Wen was wonderful to work with. From the very beginning, she was responsive, interested in learning about the girls, and proactive in setting up a meet and greet. She was friendly, professional, asked thoughtful questions, and carefully followed all the instructions I provided. Most importantly, Lua, Cobie, and Libby felt comfortable with her right away, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. When I returned home, everything was exactly as expected and the girls were happy and well cared for. I would not hesitate to book Wen again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

I can’t say enough good things about Cat. She was able to take care of our cat on short notice and went above and beyond. She sends the best pictures and a thorough update. I feel so comfortable knowing that my cat is getting the best care. 100% will recommend and book again!
Carmen was just the person we needed to give us peace of mind knowing our cat was cared for while we were away for the week. She followed instructions provided, asked follow up questions for clarification when needed, and showed great patience as our cat was quite shy for the first few days.

Dina M is the best pet sitter I ever have had, and I have had pet sitters for 40 years!! She is absolutely amazing. She is loving, thorough, attentive to our pets’ needs, and she goes far and above when something in addition is needed, even if it is unexpected! I cannot recommend her highly enough! 20 stars!
Audrey did an awesome job watching my cats, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. My cats loved Audrey back, as evidenced by pics of them crawling all over Audrey, lol! The litter box was clean, and they were fed and happy when I got home too, just like I was hoping. Audrey was kind and pleasant to be in contact with.
