6. Janely M.
About: I’ve been training and loving my dog, Rocky, since he was a puppy. He has taught me a lot about what is required to care for a pet. I also interned at a vet hospital in high school which gave me an opportunity to interact with many dogs and cats in a space where most of them were scared so I enjoyed comforting them. Although I can’t preform surgery on your pet, I can show them the care they deserve. As a college student my schedule changes often. For now I am most free, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after 12pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays I get home a little after 4pm. Weekends I am usually free unless I go home to visit family. I live in an apartment but it has a small fenced yard where your dog could unwind and go potty whenever they need to. If given the opportunity to care for your pet I would also ensure daily walks and other activities for enrichment. There are no other pets in my apartment right now since my dog is living with my parents, so that will give me the chance to focus my attention and energy on your pet!

7. Mackenzie G.

“Mackenzie is awesome! She did a great job house sitting for us during the day while our dog was recovering from surgery. She is flexible, helpful, and trustworthy. She sent me lots of pictures too! Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future.”

8. Zoe W.

9. Sydney S.

About: I am Cat and Dog First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross, Certified Pet Expert (CPS-DW), and an active member of Pet Sitters International (PSI). I am currently working on becoming a CPPS-Certified Professional Pet Sitter. Though I am new to pet sitting, I am constantly learning about pet care and safety. Having grown up with pets, I understand they become members of the family. I cared for my sister’s former miniature poodle Sandy and have grown up with various breeds like chihuahuas and a dachshund. Though I do not own pets anymore due to my lifestyle and living arrangements, I miss being around them. My friends told me about Rover and I jumped right in! I offer personalized care, including daily walks and playtime. I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and well-cared for! As a Certified Pet Expert, I believe in using positive reinforcement instead of negative methods like e-collars or leash corrections, as they can harm trust and lead to aggression. While I'm not a dog trainer and won't suggest how to teach your dog, I'll happily follow your instructions and support your dog's training (: I work part-time and my availability changes weekly, so feel free to reach out for specific dates. I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs whenever possible! While walking your pet, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, following their preferred pace and routine. I prioritize safety by keeping them on a leash and being mindful of their surroundings. For house sitting, I maintain your pet’s routine, providing meals, playtime, and cuddles. I make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own home. I also handle light tasks like cleaning up after your pet, keeping the litter box tidy, and sending you regular updates on their well-being. Your pet will feel loved and well cared for while you're away!

11. Shaye F.

12. Maddie L.

“Maddie took great care of our dog and cat! We were gone for 10 days and we came home to happy pets and a tidy house. Maddie is timely and a great communicator. Highly recommend!”

13. Anabelle S.
“My dogs love Anabelle. She is very calm and fun. They especially like her glow in the dark chuck it ball! When I get back from vacation I am a little worried my dogs miss her more than me!”

About: I love all types of animals and as a pet parent to a 10-year-old dog and 1-year-old hamster, I understand the importance of quality care. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals of all ages and my flexibility - I'm available for same-day bookings and can adapt to your schedule. I offer in-home pet sitting and dog walking services, giving your pets personalized attention in their familiar environment. While I don't administer medications, I excel at providing engaging playtime, enjoyable walks, and lots of love and attention to keep your pets happy while you're away. Your furry family members will always have a dedicated companion who treats them like my own! As a full-time student, pet care fits perfectly into my structured schedule. I have no classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making me fully available for multiple drop-ins or longer walking sessions on those days. Weekends are also completely open for pet care services. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I'm available in the evenings after 6 PM. This predictable routine allows me to provide consistent care for your pets while balancing my studies. I carefully plan my academic responsibilities to ensure I can dedicate quality time to the animals in my care, treating each visit as a priority rather than an afterthought. I exclusively offer pet care services in my clients' homes, which allows pets to stay comfortable in their familiar environment. When caring for a pet in their own home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to minimize stress. I'm extremely respectful of clients' homes and property, always following any house rules or special instructions provided. For dog walking services, I ensure safe, engaging outings tailored to each dog's energy level and needs. During drop-in visits, I provide fresh food and water, necessary bathroom breaks, and quality playtime or cuddles depending on what your pet enjoys. I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, or handle other small tasks to give you peace of mind while you're away. Though I don't offer boarding in my own home, this focused approach allows me to give my full attention to your pets in the environment where they feel most secure and happy.

15. Alexa Y.
About: I grew up with pets (dogs, cats, exotics) my entire life and quickly took on the responsibility of caring for them at a young age. This passion led me down the path of pursuing Veterinary Medicine. Throughout high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter and also independently studied dog training. Through the use of positive reinforcement I have successfully trained my own two dogs as well as friends' and family members' dogs. During my undergraduate years, I was a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Southern, California. There I learned technical skills such as administering vaccines, collecting blood samples, and giving oral and injectable medications. I am currently a first year vet student at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where I’m continuing my journey to help animals live healthier, happier lives. Whether it’s walking, training, or giving your pet a little extra TLC, you can trust they’ll be in knowledgeable and loving hands with me. I am currently a first year veterinary student, so everyday I have a combination of lectures and labs. However, my schedule tends to fluctuate a lot and for the most part provides me flexibility. I am free most weekdays and weekends -with proper notice- for dog walking, pet check ins, house sitting, etc. I am well versed in dog and cat behavior and training. I am comfortable tailoring to your pets usual routine and comfort level. My goal is to make them as comfortable as they are when you are home!
