What do I offer? - The "Adult" Standard: I am a professional in my 30s. I do not throw parties. I do not invite guests. I do not treat your home like a dorm. It remains a sanctuary. - Protocol-Driven Care: My background is in the lab, not the clinic. I don't guess at animal psychology, but I follow your care protocols exactly. Medication schedules, dietary measurements, and security routines are executed precisely as written. - Cleanliness & Respect: I am trained to leave a workspace cleaner than I found it. Your home will be maintained to a high standard of order and hygiene. - Privacy Firewall: As a professional in transition, I offer a level of privacy that your students or subordinates cannot. Your personal life remains completely separate from your professional hierarchy. Logistics: - References: Current Landlord (vouching for impeccable property care) + Professional References. - Availability: I housesit a maximum of two weeks per month. - Animals I Will Sit: Adult and senior dogs, small non-venomous/poisonous animals (both mammals and reptiles - non-venomous snakes < 4 feet in length ok!), and aquatics only. For aquatics especially, please prepare a care sheet with the number and species (with scientific names if you know them) of all animals in the tank(s) and required physicochemical parameters for each tank, in addition to health information and feeding schedules. No cats may be present in the home (I am allergic). - Behavioral Requirements: Your dog must be fully housetrained and preferably also trained to follow some basic commands ("sit", "stay", "come"). I do not accept dogs with severe separation anxiety, constant barking, aggression towards humans, or destructive tendencies. I do not accept small animals/aquatics with aggression towards humans or destructive tendencies. - Other requirements: I am a working professional. Your home must have reliable high-speed Wi-Fi and a quiet place to sit and work while I housesit/watch your pet. If I am staying in your home, for my safety and security, I require that no other humans other than you come over for the duration. I work remotely full-time as a policy consultant, meaning my schedule is highly flexible and I can be present in the home for the majority of the day. I maintain a quiet, predictable, and focused daily routine. Because my work is entirely remote, your pets will have consistent companionship, and their specific feeding, walking, and medication schedules will be executed exactly as you prescribe them. My background as a laboratory scientist means I operate with an exacting standard of cleanliness, precision, and respect for established protocols. Your home is treated as a secure, private environment. I do not invite guests over, I maintain a strict privacy firewall, and I ensure all home security and maintenance routines are followed to the letter. My goal is to leave your home cleaner than I found it, providing clear, reliable updates (including photo and video) so you can travel with absolute peace of mind.

About: I have always had a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds. This led me to get a degree in zoology and now I’m working at UC Davis animal science. I have owned and cared for a variety of animals including small and large dogs, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. Currently I have a playful sweet husky-staffy mix named Astrid for your pet to play with if interested! I currently work at UC Davis in the animal science department so I am most free in the early mornings and afternoons on weekdays as well as weekends. About: I’m a UC Davis grad with a degree in Environmental Science who has a deep love for all animals, now working as a Migratory Birds intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I’ve owned, pet-sat, trained, and rescued numerous cats and dogs since the age of 12. My biggest dream is to open an animal rescue one day. I will treat your pets with the utmost care and respect they deserve, just as you would. I gave round of clock care for my senior chihuahua-mix with separation anxiety for years. I am very comfortable and used to caring for animals the way they need. I am comfortable with crating, taking your dog(s) in my car to the park, cuddling and playtime, and following any training you’ve been practicing, while of course taking the upmost care and giving respect to your cherished home.

I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks. About: I have had animals in my household since I was a baby. I got my first dog in 3rd grade and have cared for her until I left for college. I have watched many of my families and neighbors dogs and cats while they are away at vacation. I am majoring in Animal Science at the University of California in Davis. I have cared for newborn puppies and practiced physical exams on many animals. I have the ability to bathe, feed, walk, train, and trim dogs nails. I am a full time student at UC Davis however with my time gaps I’d be more than available to take your dog outside to use the restroom and make sure to feed them. I would be happy to keep them company while I do my studies. I have a fenced and large backyard so that your fur babies have plenty of space to run safely. If there is a crate provided in the clients home I will use it as necessary and make sure there are no open doors for them to run out.

About: I have taken care of pets for family and friends and my own as well. I have bathed, fed,walked, played and gave medication to pets. Full time SAHM so much free time to care for your furry pets. Please take me into consideration, I am very excited to be able to get to know every fur baby stay inside unless needed to be walked or go play. Each furry friend is watched carefully. About: I’ve taken care of dog for with more than 5 years. I personally have two dogs in the house which are 10 lbs and 30 lbs, both are low to medium energy. I’ve successfully trained 3 puppies in the past 5 years and also fostered senior dogs before for a rescue. For safety reasons, all the dogs will be separated when I’m out, and basic training can be provided if owner requests. Walks twice a day, no dog park trips unless owner requests for safety precautions. No human aggression is allowed, any growling/nipping/snapping for no reasons is not acceptable. If your dog is being too stressed among other dogs, I have separate room to place him/her, and he/she will get quality along time with human every day. Pictures and videos will be send out about 5-10 times/day. I’m a recent graduate at UC Davis, and currently WFH all day. I will walk dogs twice a day and give them bathroom break at least 4-5 times every day. I have a fenced yard in the house. All the dogs will be separated when I’m not at home for safety purposes. Anyone being too stressed will have a separate room for resting.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

About: During my 18 years of living, I have grown up with many different animals in the house and around mean I really do enjoy the company of our furry friends.
