About: I have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was born. Now, I have worked as a vet assistant for 6 years in both general practice and oncology. I have helped with emergencies for all kinds of breeds and done overnight care several times. I also work and volunteer at shelters consistently so I know how to deal with animal stress. I have never met an animal I didn't love no matter its personality and demeanor so I know they are in good hands. I am a college student but have gaps in my day to go back to my apartment and take them out. I would never leave a pet at home for more than 2 hours and live with just my fiance and I also well equipped in pet care, but I will be doing the caregiving. I love every furry friend and it would be a joy rather than a chore to help care for each pet. I am well versed in medication administration, feeding, playtime, small training activities, and more. Depending on the breed or species, I would ensure I am thorough with each pets need and go from there whether thats exercise and play or just chilling on the couch.

About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. I take my puppy on long walks at the Davis Arboretum and have a dog park where I live which ensures they are getting their exercise and playtime. My apartment is clean for health safety. If I am staying at the owner’s home, I will apply the owner’s directions.

About: I have had animals in my household since I was a baby. I got my first dog in 3rd grade and have cared for her until I left for college. I have cared for my families and neighbors dogs and cats while they are away at vacation. I have just graduated with my bachelors in Animal Science at the University of California in Davis. I have cared for newborn puppies and practiced physical exams on many animals. I have the ability to bathe, feed, walk, train, and trim dog’s nails. I’ve worked at 2 animal hospitals one in Davis and here in Palm Springs! I am a full time vet assistant at PSAH however with my time gaps I’d be more than available to take your dog outside to use the restroom and make sure to feed them. I would be happy to keep them company while I do my studies. I have a fenced and large backyard so that your fur babies have plenty of space to run safely. If there is a crate provided in the clients home I will use it as necessary and make sure there are no open doors for them to run out.

About: I’ve owned a menagerie of pets since I was 12 years old. I’ve owned cats, dogs, rodents, birds, you name it! As an aspiring veterinarian who had an amazing internship last summer and someone who has owned many senior animals, I am able to accommodate special medical needs as long as you leave me clear instructions on how to care for your fur baby. I am currently a full-time student and part-time veterinary assistant, but I do not have any other commitments outside of that! Depending on my daily academic schedule, I can typically fit in brief visits in the early morning, and longer visits in the evening during weekdays. I’m available on weekends almost any time! I will follow any instructions left to me to a T. If there is something I’m unsure about, I will be sure to ask clients before taking any drastic actions (unless it is truly an emergency).

About: I love animals very much and as a result, have much experience with them. I had a dog for 10 years that I fully trained from the age of 8 weeks, so I am very comfortable with puppies. Additionally, I have dog-sat senior dogs many times, for multiple days. I am a student at UC Davis currently, with class only a couple of times per day. I have a car as well so I am easily able to visit your pet multiple times throughout the day. I have no classes on Fridays or the weekends so I am usually fully free on those days. How you and your dog's usual schedule is, is what I will try my best to replicate for your pup. For example, if the dog needs to be fed or let out at a certain time, I will make sure it happens.

About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Now a little bit about me and the care I provide for my clients. I come from a long line of dog lovers. I was raised with pups in the home, and they were a beloved part of our family. Like myself, many family members are in the business of caring for pups in one way or another. I have been professionally taking care of pups on a full-time basis since I retired from teaching in 2020. I have worked with many breeds and specialize in small to medium dogs. I have worked with many pups who are elderly, have anxiety or need medication. Many of my clients are regulars and their pups’ become friends and have fun socializing here. Occasionally, some of my clients prefer to keep their pups separated, particularly if they are elderly, anxious and not social. I have plenty of space and can create secure sections, each with quiet den areas where pups can have their space, yet still be near me and feel safe. In addition, I use soft music to help calm and sooth pups throughout the day. For active dogs that love to play I have a long corridor which is great for indoor fetch! I also have a beautiful path behind my home where we go for long walks. The park is only a short ten-minute walk and I utilize it often. Sometimes I take my pups out for a field trip, and we get a “pup cup” at Starbucks and/or walk around the UCD Arboretum. Safety is my first priority! About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life. I make sure to respect the needs of each animal that I am around and only interact with them in ways that they’re comfortable with. I also have experience training dogs and would love to help with that if you’d like. I work from home most days so I have very flexible hours! :) I am a Neuroscience PhD student and can do pretty much all of my work remotely. I am very flexible with hours and will be able to give your pet as much attention as they need ! I can help however you need- I’d be happy to stay overnight if your pet needs it, though I can’t stay 24/7 since I have my own cat to take care of at home. I can take dogs on walks and give them lots of attention and play time. Or if your pet is more reclusive I can just provide some company as we exist in the same room. I’m super flexible!

I like to keep a written checklist for every visit so I wont miss an important task! Once their basic needs are taken care of, I love spending time with them by playing, brushing, petting, or going on walks (only with owner approval and at appropriate temperatures!). Before heading out, I like to snap a cute photo and give updates so you (the owner) can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind.
